As the Daily Caller revealed here last March, Media Matters itself has been linked to Al Jazeera.

Reported the DC’s Jamie Weinstein:

Media Matters for America is linked with Al-Jazeera, the anti-American and anti-Israeli cable news channel, The Daily Caller has learned.

Media Matters Action Network senior foreign policy fellow MJ Rosenberg’s column for the liberal organization regularly appears on Al-Jazeera’s website and, in 2010, Rosenberg represented Media Matters at a forum hosted by Al-Jazeera in Doha, Qatar where he praised the news outlet as “mainstream.”

Media Matters Action Network is part of the organization’s political arm.

See anything just a tad ironic here?

Media Matters is headed by David Brock, who makes much of the fact that he’s gay. Media Matters, as mentioned above, has defined Al Jazeera as “mainstream” – and linked up with it, as the DC has noted.

Bill O’Reilly last night unearthed another Al Jazeera jewel. The one that noted Al Jazeera had thrown a televised birthday party for one Samir Kuntar. Why? Kuntar had tried to kidnap an Israeli family – and in the doing smashed the skull of a 4-year old Israeli girl. If you have the stomach you can see a clip of that televised celebration right here.

So.

To wrap it all up.

What we have here are people at the heart of media liberalism linking up with a network whose star is out there with an audience of 60 million ranting and raving in favor of everything from the Holocaust to murdering or mutilating all the disfavored on the Islamic fundamentalist list. Jews, gays, and women at the top of the list. A network that literally celebrated a terrorist who smashed the skull of a four-year-old girl.

Behar and Granholm are now going to be their employees. And Brock has been happily linking up with them. The New York Times sees the addition of Al Jazeera to the Time Warner playlist as diversity. While the Color of Change is silent as the proverbial church mouse.

The word for people like this?

One is tempted to say hypocrite.

But the word that really comes to mind is sick.

Behar won't have one problem with any of this; otherwise, she would have already condemned Sharia. Money matters most to the Behar-Gore types.

Also, conflicted groups will align initially for the power boost, then the thinning of the herd will happen. Jews won't survive the thinning. History tells us so.

They also tend to believe that the people promulgating these ideas don't themselves "mean it" -- since they themselves don't really believe anything they personally spout off (save the part about really hating businessmen and chaste women), why shoudl they think anybody else does either? They won't believe the guillotine has come for them until they hear that swish of the blade descending. Liberals always believe that when the revolution comes, they will be on the winning side.

The other aspect of this blindness is pooh-poohing articles like this as paranoia. The bright side is that the "useful idiots" that bought into socialism also believe that people should not be allowed to own guns. So when their new masters at Al-Jazeera come to kill the Jews, gays, lesbians and perform female genital mutilation on the Infidels, they will not have guns to protect them. Conservatives who believe in the Second Amendment will be locked and loaded.

It would save us all much time and aggravation if Al-Jazeera simply moved their studios to Saudi Arabia or Qatar and took care of business somewhere else. It will be easier for them and the Second Amendment loving conservatives.

Since the lefties believe in having "gun free zones" such as schools, malls, militarity bases like Fort Hood, and other public places as the answer to criminals using guns, maybe we need to declare the area around the President, VP, and Congressman as "gun free zones." We can then save money by redploying the Secret Service.
If gun free zones are good for schools and military bases to protect children and the military, they they should be enough to protect the P and VP and Congress.

So yeah, I believe Joy Behar doesn't see the problem with her show being in the same lineup as guys who handle gender diversity and women's rights, and worshipping in the other two Abrahamic religions as capital offenses, and killing a kid with a rifle butt to the head with approval.

She's just that dim.
