Obama’s Revenge: America’s Challenge

A nation of dumpster diving, gas lines, class warfare, race cards, and no jobs.

“This is about revenge.”
Rush Limbaugh on the policies of President Obama, February 27, 2009

“Voting is the best revenge.”
— Barack Obama, November 2, 2012

It was the grand leftist experiment.

It was Obama’s Revenge.

A revenge designed to take what Ronald Reagan once called “the last best hope of man on earth” and, instead, to “transform America.” A revenge designed to remake a nation founded on principles of liberty and freedom into a Westernized progressive utopia. An “Ameritopia” — to borrow from Mark Levin’s bestseller.

Rush Limbaugh nailed this exactly way back on February 27, 2009. And now the President himself — in an unscripted moment at a Friday rally — has made it clear that Rush was right.

Said the President: “Voting is the best revenge.”

In fact, Obama’s Revenge was the latest experiment in a long line of grand leftist experiments.

Obama’s Revenge has indeed transformed America. Transformed it in four years to a declining land of soaring poverty, relentless unemployment, with millions added to the food stamp rolls, the perpetuation of the race card a regular feature alonside skyrocketing gas prices and now — in the wake of Hurricane Sandy — dumpster diving, six-hour gas lines, and an endless lack of heat and power.

But this transformation was also something else.

Obama’s Revenge was the inevitable conclusion of a presidency formed in a Voldemortish cauldron. A cauldron seething with a witch’s brew of poisonous, bubbling anti-American passions gleaned here and there from far-left Obama mentors from Frank Marshall Davis to Derrick Bell to the Reverend Jeremiah Wright to Bill Ayers.

The first a Communist. The second a believer in “racial realism” — racializing every aspect of the law in “Critical Legal Studies.” The third a proponent of black liberation theology. The fourth a leader in the in violent 1960’s-era Weather Underground that believed, as stated in their manifesto:

The most important task for us toward making the revolution, and the work our collectives should engage in, is the creation of a mass revolutionary movement… akin to the Red Guard in China, based on the full participation and involvement of masses of people… with a full willingness to participate in the violent and illegal struggle.

Part of Obama’s Revenge was the old chestnut of Social Justice. Social Justice, don’t you see? It was about compassion. Justice. Fairness. Americans paying their fair share.

There were continuous Obama references to the “mess” America was in on January 20, 2009. But never an admission that the “mess” was caused by an earlier crusade for Social Justice — that crusade for Social Justice in housing.

VOTE ROMNEY TODAY!!!!!!!!!

Alan Third Party Voter Brooks | 11.6.12 @ 7:34AM

"The growth of entitlement spending over the past half-century has been distinctly greater under Republican administrations than Democratic ones. Between 1960 and 2010, the growth of entitlement spending was exponential — but in any given year, it was on the whole over 8 percent higher if the president happened to be a Republican rather than a Democrat. . . . The Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and George W. Bush administrations presided over especially lavish expansions of the entitlement state."

Alej| 11.6.12 @ 8:05AM

Source?

Or troll propaganda.

Quoting statistics covering a 70-year period cuts little ice without backup sources.

Except back in your 'hood.

Alan Third Party Voter Brooks | 11.6.12 @ 9:21AM

Alej,
all you have to do is paste it into an engine! then you get it right rom the horse's mouth, no middleman.

Alan Third Party Voter Brooks | 11.6.12 @ 9:23AM

from the horse's mouth-- and it's a 50, not 70 yr period.

Dave Williams| 11.6.12 @ 2:55PM

Everything you say comes from the OTHER end of the horse, sir....and you're no more a third party voter than I'm an astronaut.

Grzmlyk| 11.6.12 @ 3:44PM

While by one metric, yes, per the WSJ article you cite, spending has grown under GOP adminstrations faster than under Dem administrations. But it has gone up on average 7% a year over year irrespective of which party is in power since 1960, as that same article shows. In 2010 (under Obama), according to the same article, the total government transfer was $2.2 TRILLION.

And you have to factor in the domination by Democrat Congresses during that time. Additionally, all of these toxic entitlement programs were laid on us by DEMOCRAT administrations.

Also, just because many GOP administrations have either been hamstrung into allowing the continued metastisization of entitlement programs or else gone along with them for the same reasons Dems love them doesn't make it right. Also, allow me to point to recent history: When Dems regained control of congress in January of 2007, the national debt was $8.67 trill. In three years DEMOCRATS upped it to $12.3 TRILLION. It is now up to $16 TRILLION. Which party is the biggest spender again?

The fact is, to the extent Republican policies suck is the extent to which they emulate Democrat philosophy.

Either way, the name of the game is "gimme," and craven politicians always accommodate the greedy voter.

Bottom line: It is still the Democrats' fault that we are in the mess we are in - and that's not even taking into account the NEW Democrat-authored entitlement monstrosity called "Obamacare."

Alan Third Party Voter Brooks | 11.6.12 @ 11:27PM

Also, just because many GOP administrations have either been hamstrung into allowing the continued metastisization of entitlement programs or else gone along with them for the same reasons Dems love them doesn't make it right."

Okay but no unfalsifiable incentive to vote for Romney is furnished by any of our comments here.

Occam's Tool| 11.6.12 @ 11:17AM

Early data coming in: in Penn and Ohio, districts where Obama won in 2008 have fewer voters coming in to vote, and in McCain areas, higher numbers are coming into vote.

As Elric of Melnibone would put it: "in the heat of Battle, I cannot control my Demonsword's thirst for human souls."

Or, to put it another way, Obamabots are soulless creatures who care not to vote. Like the shameless sexualizing of the Left while their number of children drop, they can talk a good game, but the penises are "very, very small."

RCV| 11.6.12 @ 11:49AM

Democrats hav gotten their voters out early, Occam, in droves. You're in for a very big surprise tonight, my friend.

RCV, good to see you voted. Say hi to your pretend family.

Al Adab| 11.6.12 @ 3:18PM

But, RCV,
Once the republicans get off work, they too will vote.

RCV| 11.6.12 @ 3:48PM

I thought they were all unemployed by now.

Alej| 11.6.12 @ 3:35PM

"Democrats hav gotten their voters out early, Occam, in droves."

As well as their Black Panther poll intimidators.

How anyone other than the trash of society can be associated with the Democrat Party is beyond me.

RCV| 11.6.12 @ 3:50PM

Oh yes, Alej. Thousands of Black Panthers, on every street corner -- along with the Republican "poll watchers" singling out every non-white face they see.

Most things are beyond you.

TLP| 11.6.12 @ 4:18PM

Obviously RCV Douchebag wants to remain Deaf, Dumb, and Stupid, on all of the Bullshit going on in Philly, with Black Panthers standing outside the Polling Places, AGAIN, Republican Poll Watchers being FORCIBLY REMOVED by Democrat Operatives, Posters of vtwin's "Nigga" right there inside the Voting Room, and on, and on, and on, and on.

He knows all this sh*t, yet he has nothing to say about it.

A True Scumbag, from the word Go.

Ignore the Piece of Sh*t.

RCV| 11.7.12 @ 12:23AM

How's the evening going, TLP?

ata777| 11.6.12 @ 9:47AM

president? how about congress? and how about the reality that, RIGHT NOW, only one party is even remotely interested in postponing our rendezvous with national bankruptcy?

WhiteBikerTrash| 11.6.12 @ 3:25PM

To describe this information in the Republican Democrat format is misleading. To get to the truth you need to look at it through the Progressive, against the Classic Liberal/ Constitutionalists lens. So when Progressives hold power, entitlement spending spikes, when a Constitutionalists holds power entitlement spending levels off.
Is it that you are really this stupid, or that you hope we are?

Thanks, Subvet. That was really good. I wish I had seen it sooner, I would have sent it out to everyone I know.

The Avenger| 11.6.12 @ 6:27AM

The problem, IMHO, is an electorate that is too lazy, too ignorant, and too complacent to understand the fate which awaits them if Obama is returned to the Whitehouse. I pray that Romney has enough vote to save them. If he does, they will whine, they will bitch, and they will do everything in their power to undermine him. But in the end, he will save them from a fate worse than death, soft tyranny.

drudge ette obama| 11.6.12 @ 6:41AM

Someone I work with used the phrase, "Social Justice" with me once. I asked him what that meant. He was inarticulate and probably didn't want to describe it. But he is the first one to demand that you contribute to his causes - he has a nose for finding others' money, but still owes some bucks for the last employee gift collection. He plans to vote Obama. He votes by race. He is not a superb American or man.

Mars the Avenger| 11.6.12 @ 7:22AM

As a Catholic I often face this question as well, asking so-called CINOs the same question you ask, i.e. define "social justice." And I pretty much get the same answer. Disclaimer - I am a very traditionalist Catholic, Latin Mass, etc. MY faith is that of the Crusaders and those men who saved Christendom at the Battle of Lepanto from the Ottoman Turks. So, I have no tolerance for this namby-pamby brand of modern Catholicism. When I quote the Lord, saying the poor will always be with us, and that we render to God what is God's and Caesar what is Caesar's, and deride cheap compassion (feeling good about stealing from Peter (other people's money) to give to Paul, I get a strange look of consternation. These Marxists and statists masquerading as Christians have NO clue. These people are not worthy to live here, and should take the next flight to Chavez's Venezuela where they would find a more congenial climate.

Alej| 11.6.12 @ 8:07AM

True... robbing Peter to pay Paul only makes Peter sore.

And what can you do with a sore Peter ?

KennesawJack| 11.6.12 @ 1:29PM

Our Church is also a proponent of "social justice". At a Church Worship Board meeting we were discussing our committment to this notion. I spoke up to say I had issues with it. Our Pastor, for whom I have great respect, asked my what my issue was. I said it was simple. Who gets to be the arbiter of what's just? Discussion was tabled for the evening.

Cobalt| 11.6.12 @ 6:50AM

Social Justice = Get Even

Or as Obama likes to say, "in the interest of fairness."

Albert Constantine Jr.| 11.6.12 @ 7:23AM

Even suggests a wrong for which restitution is due. I believe Obama's own word is more accurate-Revenge, though Social Justice is often vengeance against those who have achieved success through hard work and skillful application of their talent, though the wrong is "righted" by pulling back those who advance, rather than allowing all who want to work as hard or as skillfully to advance, as well.

Von Mises Jr| 11.6.12 @ 9:02AM

Hayek in "Law, Legislation and Liberty - The Mirage of social Justice" defines "Social Justice" as redistributive justice. The main error is that Laws and Legislation can only effectively create rules regarding the means, not the ends.

When creating laws and rules for means, people are able to engage in "spontaneous order" to spark innovation with capital formation to create wealth.
Under a regime that legislates and creates laws for ends, it must be authoritarian and despotic. It also destroys creativity and innovation, not to mention the price mechanism to direct resources.

If you understand what "social Justice" and statism are, it is clear that it is a recipe for misery and poverty.

Appleby| 11.6.12 @ 7:15AM

Back in the day, I used to attend the yearly International Mensa meeting in Britain and I got to meet a lot of people from every walk of life, and of several generations. This was in the 1980s mainly and I found a very wide streak of "liberal guilt" among the younger people especially. That is, they clearly saw the gap between their own intelligence and lifestyle and that of the lower classes they championed...and recognized their weakness in clinging to their privilege while condemning it to the world. Obama suffers from the same problem. Oh, and so does my youngest sister, who would clearly understand the whole "revenge" thing. She can't take Romney's money away from him, but maybe she can stop him from getting elected (so there).

Nancy in NC| 11.6.12 @ 7:53AM

They fall into the trap set by academia. They are teaching white guilt in schools these days (to 5 yr. olds). They are also teaching their idea of "fairness" and "how to fail". Meritocracy is ignored over diversity. Until we change the school system, nothing will improve. After all the teachers are the products of universities that teach the whole social justice garbage. We are in deep trouble, regardless of who the next president is. We may be totally sunk if it is obama.

Albert Constantine Jr.| 11.6.12 @ 8:52AM

By trying to remove the disappointment that comes with failure, the Left is teaching our children to fail by not even trying. In a world where there is always someone else (China, India, etc.) willing to compete, making our children non-competitive is a strategy that will guarantee that they will not be successful.

We need to teach our children to win, and while it is important that they learn to do so gracefully, if they are unable to compete, they will find themselves rolled over and herded into the pens of loserdom and victimhood, and become serfs on the liberal plantation.

steponbugs| 11.6.12 @ 7:24AM

Thank you, Mr. Lord, for all of your brilliant work. Reading the quote from President Reagan's first inaugural address took me back for a minute to those days of youthful, unbridled optimism and expectations of a renewed American spirit. Here's hoping that today's young conservatives will likewise enjoy those feelings, and the seize opportunity to lead us away from the statist path we've been on over the longest four years of our lives.

Here are the Top 20 reasons a regime change is imperative, now: 1. $5 Trillion in New Debt – By the end of FY 2012, Obama had added $5.3 trillion to the National Debt – almost one-third of the total ($16 trillion). We shall see by tomorrow morning if there are enough Americans who are really, really mad.

Nancy in NC| 11.6.12 @ 7:46AM

Perhaps it is revenge for colonialism. Is obama trying to extract revenge for his father and grandfather? The man is very ill and making America very ill as well.

Alej| 11.6.12 @ 8:12AM

If 13 % of the population weren't 96 % guaranteed to obama, this wouldn't even be a race.

That 12.48 % of the population is the cancer of America.

Al Adab| 11.6.12 @ 8:23AM

This day we have said it all. There is only left to us the opportunity to vote and more importantly to pray. May our nation turn from its idolatry, seek Gods wisdom and establish His justice among men and nations. The issue is in His hands we can only do our duty.

TLP| 11.6.12 @ 9:26AM

I agree with Al. I can't believe that there's really anything left to be said.

"Great Column, Mr. Lord." Please. Could he BE any later to The Party? Trotting out all of The Muslim's Past, now, when it's "Safe" to do so.

Better Late, than Never, I guess. But, like Al has said: "We have, most certainly, said it all, already."

Let's do something else.

Let's Play - What am I gonna do, when The Creature is thrown out of OUR HOUSE, on his Wife's Fat Ass?

I, for one, have already proclaimed that I am in possession of a Full Bottle of Hand Loition, as opposed to the Empty Ones belonging to Chris Mathews, that were given away to the Winners of Last weekend's Contest.

I think it's safe to say that Colonel mike will be face down somewhere, with a Dog licking the foot with no sock on it. John II will be locked away in his "Study" Combing over his West Side Story CD's with is Ballet Slippers, his Tutu, and Mirna Nixon's Wig on his head, looking for any Edge he might acquire, for this Week's Contest.

Albert will be Ushering, as usual, at the Local Mega-Movie Superplex, down the street from his house.

K.J. Will be checking his Mailbox for Free Clothes.

And, what's his name, in Alaska, will be towing a Log he found in the River, back to town to get enough Money for a New Fishing Harpoon with a Worm on it.

Everything else is in God's hand's.

Go Vote, and then wonder what we can do, from here on out, to Prevent what happened in 2008, from ever happening, again.

Weiner.

mike 3/505| 11.6.12 @ 3:09PM

Tim,

You are correct...I will end up snockered beyond all beleif. But, I will stretch it out over a few days, so as to enjoy it more. I will have MSNBC on 24/7, watching Chrissy Mathews urinate down his leg.

I propose a drinking game...Every time MSNBC hollers "Voter Suppression," we take drink. Naaah...That would prevent me taking several days to get well and truly plastered.

TLP| 11.6.12 @ 4:23PM

I am sending you the Home Version of Chris Mathew's Wet Pantleg.

How was your little Girlyboy Party, by the way?

mike 3/505| 11.6.12 @ 4:36PM

The Man (Army) party is THIS weekend. Me and Household-6 are gonna drive that way Thursday, spend the night in New Orleans and show up Friday for the drunken riot in Galveston. I'll shoot you an after-action report when I get back.

Russel| 11.6.12 @ 8:51AM

Polling accuracy and influences aside , if there are so many Americans living in big , run down cities and along the coastlines who can out-vote the entire rest of the country , the rest of the country will probably secede . Those of us who actually produce something will empower the likes of the TEA Party to operate our own government . The media and the panhandlers want a socialist country ?. We don't want any part of it . PS Don't come begging in the middle of winter when you have no heat , gas or food . And if you don't think it can happen here , well it did in the USSR .

Bob Grant| 11.6.12 @ 9:11AM

The bottom line is Romney's chances (and the future of our country) are dependent on one particular voting bloc:

Decent, rational Democratic voters who cannot in good conscious vote for obama again. They've seen him in action and know deep down he's not cut out for the job, he's divisive, he doesn't know how to lead, he doesn't know how to compromise, he doesn't have the people skills, lacks prudent judgement (see his choice for vice president), and at times doesn't seem to particularly like the job.

They know deep down he hasn't really earned a second term.

I'm praying that enough of them still remain in the party and either sit out the election or switch to Romney.

If they turn out for obama, we might be in for a big disappointment.

TLP| 11.6.12 @ 4:32PM

There are so many Private Sector Union Rank and File that have been SCREWED by vtwin's "Nigga" (His word, not mine) in the Coal Industry, the Oil and Gas Industries, the Non Union Auto Industry Workers who got FCKD out of their Health Care and their Pensions, Welders, Riggers, Pipefitters, Carpenters, and Truckers from his Illegal Drilling Moratorium and his Cancellation of the XL Pipeline, and all of the Car Dealership Employees that were FORCED OUT of their Workplaces by the Son of an Atheist Communist Whore, and a Muslim Marxist Whore Chaser, who Died Drunk in a Kenyan Gutter, riddled with AIDS.

My child is voting in a mock election at school. Seems some blabber mouth kids are shocked that she is not going to vote for Obama. But my kid knows that Obama has done nothing for her in the last four years, she is not blinded by racist thoughts, nor by the lib-speak. Most of the children have said they will vote for Obama, in fact, even the teachers love the man. They've had a woman come in and speak to the kids with warm, glowing remarks about Obama, and how she was invited to the WH one day. My child remains true to her word. What a gal!

Jeffrey, years ago, Bill Ayers learned a lesson: in any bloody revolution here he was simply out-gunned by patriots.

He and Obama have teamed up with the "gimmie mine" crowd. So I guess we shall see if the "gimmies" outumber us at the polls today. God help America if they do. The communists will have run out their string.

My heart says Romney will win, and my mind says Obama will steal the election.

All’s fair in love and war, and politics is war by any other name.

And, the ruling class, led by the MSM, plays hardball, while their majority class of “serfs” don’t.

Politics is the game for Democratic Party stalwarts.

Family, business, and church are what matter for others.

I read a piece about the history of races and ethnics in America. As we political junkies go through the dark night of the soul on this “most important EVER” election day, it’s the Asian-American story that stood out to me.

Their culture is well known for emphasizing education, and we all realize that as a group they make much more money than any other group. However, they ALSO eschew entering politics, by and large.

When Obama wins again, we would all be wise to mimic them.

Yes, educate YOURSELVES and work for YOURSELVES and your family. That’s the true “pioneer” spirit!

Anyway, putting your hopes in the hands of a politician, an OTHER, is basically stupid and fruitless.

Save YOURSELVES, and transcend attachment to political outcomes.

That’s my advice, which I’m going to also take, before knowing who wins today.

After all, tomorrow is another day!

Bob Grant| 11.6.12 @ 11:46AM

Your advice would be spot on if this election will have minimal impact on our lives.

NOT TRUE!!!

You make it sound like if obama wins we should go about our business tomorrow circa 1996 when Bill Clinton won the election: "Bill Clinton won but - oh well - the economy's doing well and I'm doing well so I'll just go with it. He's a scumbag but things are actually a little better with him than HW Bush"

It's not 1996, it's 1936. If obama wins you can GUARANTEE a long protracted malaise in this country, or worse.

I have no choice but to be tuned into politics. Besides, there's no Chinatown for me to retreat to. Nor can I pick up and move back to my mother country when things head south.

BackToBasics| 11.6.12 @ 11:43AM

I am expecting Romney to win by about 4 % and win enough of the electoral college.

I hope I am correct. If I am wrong I think a lot of businesses that have been hanging on will close in the next year and over the next couple of years the 2008 crisis will look like a picnic in comparison.

Oldefarte| 11.6.12 @ 12:29PM

Revenge and compassion have very little to do with what the left does. It is all about getting their hands on the wealth of whatever entity they are trying to plunder. Obama and the Democrat party have just hit the jackpot. They won the White House, and Congress in 2008, and held almost all of the reins of power since. While in the driver's seat, they have managed to enrich themselves and their friends beyond anyones' wildest dreams, and are hoping to stay in place for just a little while more. Given a few more years, they hope that the sheep will forget the shearing, and let them leave without accounting for the theft.

5 Trillion dollars has disappearred without a trace. Obama and company have become multi-millionaires, and ensured their continued munificent lifestyles forever into the future. They have left the shambles of the American economy for the sheep to regrow over time - if possible. They don't care what happens to the country, because they got theirs. The problem is that they did not use their power of plunder prudently. They didn't know when to stop. Hopefully, someone with courage, and a care for this nation, will call for a forensic audit of the trillions that has disappeared.

John II| 11.6.12 @ 3:11PM

The Obamanation has by now fully revealed itself to be naught else but a weird coalition of button-down social engineers and crazed populist street-punks.

And so, I herewith prophesy: This day shall be a watershed in the history of the Republic: either we slough off the Obamanation to reassert the American experiment in limited constitutional governance and religious liberty and free-market prosperity and responsible military supremacy, or we slouch finally into the degenerate and chilly night of smug Euro-narcissism and fodder for Islamist thugs.
