After that service to the Soviets, the Canter crew headed to Chicago, a hot-bed for American communists. They worked with Frank Marshall Davis in writing communist propaganda for the Packinghouse Workers Union, in teaching at the communist Abraham Lincoln School, in marching in Chicago’s May Day parades, and in the pages of the Chicago Star. In fact, when Davis and his comrades sold the Chicago Star to something called the Progressive Publishing Company in September 1948, Harry Canter was one of the small group of board members doing the purchase.
There are several key names here. Let me sum up:
Frank Marshall Davis mentored Barack Obama. The Canter family mentored David Axelrod, who got Obama elected president. Vernon Jarrett’s daughter-in-law is Valerie Jarrett, and Robert Taylor was Valerie Jarrett’s grandfather. Jarrett is Obama’s top presidential adviser. In other words, Obama’s political ancestor worked with the political ancestors of Axelrod and Jarrett.
Oh, and they all called themselves progressives.
Amazing, but true. You can’t make this up. The ghosts of Chicago’s political past are alive and well in Washington today. Today’s political family at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue can be traced back to the political family of Chicago in the 1940s. It’s all in the (political) family.
This is the fundamental change an uninformed electorate — thanks especially to a woefully biased media — elected in November 2008.

This brings new meaning to Obama's comment to Dmitry Medvedev to inform Putin that he will have "more flexibility after the election."
If you read Hannah Arendt's "The Origins of Totalitarianism," it is clear that the Obama regime is following in the footsteps of the Soviets and Nazis. The book explains the use of the mob to overthrow the existing government while "atomizing" the masses into a "collective." The "Leadership Principle" is used whereby multiple power structures and police forces are created to provide plausible deniability and to hide the real power from those even in the hierarchy.
But the most important aspect is terror and demonization of groups. Terror must be arbitrary to create fear in the masses so that they do not trust their neighbors and when people disappear, it is treated as if they never existed.
Very scary but becoming much clearer.

I dislike Obama and crew intensively. I appreciate reading of family backgrounds of Jarrett and Axelrod. But there are millions of liberals who espouse their views. Few had communist family backgrounds. Are you arguing they are planning a Soviet style government? I think more likely a Western European style Social Democracy. I dislike those as well. This article seemed a bit too Grassy Knoll for my liking.

You would do well to consider the influence hard left factions have had and continue to have on the evolution of European style Social Democracy. Yes, that group would love to implement Soviet style government and is constrained only by lack of a popular majority. Mr. Kengor’s piece is far more Paul Revere than Grassy Knoll.

The so-called "Progressives" have been a movement since the Industrial Revolution trying to re-establish serfdom. This is what Kant; Nietzsche and Marx ideologies were all about.
Prior to the end of serfdom, the Nobles and Aristocrats produced nothing while collecting quitrents on land, tallies and enslaved the serfs all while Monarchs such as Louis XIV bankrupted the nations.

The sad part here is that most people were not, are not aware of same and pathetically elected this POTUS on 11/4/08. This country has literally been captured, and now it's only a question of IF the American public has become enlightened enough to make the necessary CHANGE on 11/6/12????????

But, recently, I keep having the same recurring thought: Why are we just learning about these things now?
I mean, 20 years ago there was no "conservative media" really. Four years ago, there most certainly was a thriving conservative media. Yet, all we got was drips and drabs.
I am grateful for books from Prof. Kengor, Mr. Miniter's new book (I heard him on Hugh Hewitt's show last night, he was excellent,) and Dinesh D'Souza's new movie, but, shouldn't we have heard about these things 4 years ago?
Instead, we had Sean Hannity playing the clip of Jeremiah Wright using the Lord's name in vain, 20 times per hour. That was helpful, wasn't it?
What about Rezko and Ayers? There must be more to find out with these two. With talk-radio, Fox News, websites like AmSpec and all the rest, I would have expected to learn these pertinent facts when it counted.
Like we did in '04, thanks to the Swift-Boat Veterans for Truth.

My point was we didn't get the in-depth information about him like we did with JFKerry, thanks to the Swift-Boat Veterans for Truth. We were all reminded of the exploits of Kerry when he returned from Viet Nam. We learned that he was never in Cambodia. We learned that he requested questionable Purple Hearts so that he could get out of combat and come home.
Except for Jeremiah Wright, which we didn't learn about until the spring of '08, and O'Bama's affiliation with Bill Ayers, what did we learn about him?

Here’s why Romney is going to win, most likely in a landslide---
Given---Obama is self-defined as “black”, even though he’s half white.
Contention---Polls are NOT necessarily good indicators of the future.
Proof---David Dinkins and Tom Bradley. These two blacks, mayors of NYC & LA, respectively, polled better than what they ended up with.
The PC law of averages is screaming!
Therefore---all the polls that say around 50% or so CLAIM they will vote for Obama are polluted by LIARS.
My guess is that at least 2 out of 50 putative BHO supporters are “being nice” to the “poor black guy”. That’s what historically seems to have been the case with Dinkins & Bradley.
Ergo---Obama’s REAL level of support is more like 46%, at BEST.
Conclusion---Romney 54% Obama 45% in a landslide.

In any assessment of who is likely to vote in 2012, keep in mind that votes will be recorded from these sources:
1. Legally registered voters voting once in their proper precincts.
2. Legally registered voters voting more than once.
3. Unregistered US citizens voting once or more.
4. Non-US citizens voting once or more.
5. Dead, formerly registered voters.
6. Ballots stuffed after polls close.

This was an excellent book by Richard Miniter. Problem is... anyone who says so will be labeled a nut case. A "birther." A "tea bagger." Brought down like Chik-Fil-A.
I recall reading about Monica Lewinsky on Drudge. Until that point, I had been totally ignorant, but somehow this piqued my interest. I sent the story out to my friends, and one of them immediately told me that the story was a bunch of crap and that I was a fool to give the story any credibility.
I was alarmed that the "usual" places one would look for the news had said absolutely nothing about the story. Nothing. What was going on here? And then.... slowly but surely.... the truth came out.
I have no doubt that something's very, very fishy about this unknown man who now occupies the White House. Why has he had nearly all of his personal records sealed (and how did he do that anyway)? Why create a bogus birth certificate? (That, too, I do believe.) What's with that Connecticut social security number? Who is Harrison Bounel? Who were his friends and girlfriends in college? Who is this man we call Barack Obama and where did he come from? Other than his half-black skin, why did anyone vote for him?

In high school in Hawaii he was known as "Dimebag Barry". One of his mentors in Hawaii was a member of the American Communist Party: Frank Marshall. In college he admitted to "gravitating" to the radical leftist students and professors. He eventually moved to Chicago due to it being a hotbed of radical leftist politics. This is the power of indoctrination, whether by friends, or by political propagandists at work, home, and school.. which makes a normal person of normal intelligence and common sense, let alone intellectuals, believe that Individual Freedom and Liberty, Free Market Free enterprise Capitalism, private property, the priority and sanctity of the sovereign individual American citizen is put above the govt , via the US Constitution that guarantees these Rights, Freedoms, and Liberties, like Freedom of Religion, Speech, Press, the Right to bear arms, etc, in a written documented form of goverance, which is what America is all about and represents- to be bad.. and an all powerful authoritarian socialist-marxist communist govt regime that dictates every aspect of a person life, their families lives, with no Rights, Freedoms, and Liberties whatsoever.. but only to serve the needs of the State, ie; the Govt Regime, and to be persecuted if one does not comply- is good.
Thank Goodness for the pro-American Reagan Conservative Tea Party folks, as we, they, are the only thing that stands against tyranny and oppression while we still have a Democratic system in place, ie; the Vote.

In addition to Professor Cashill's research, check out Professor Steve Diamond's research on the monetary support of BHO by Thomas Ayers, CEO of Con Ed, who sat on multiple boards, seemingly communists fronts in Chicago.
