The Obama Watch

Obama’s Contempt for the Voters

The president’s re-election campaign makes it clear that he believes the voters are idiots.

Last week Obama’s re-election team released a television ad in a variety of battleground states listing the president’s “accomplishments.” A shameless knockoff of Ronald Reagan’s famous “morning in America” spot, this preposterous piece of propaganda begins with the administration’s standard complaint about the economic crisis Obama “inherited” and goes on to claim that he somehow saved the country because, “He believed in us. Fought for us.” What he really believes about us, however, is better illustrated by what is missing from the ad. It contains no mention whatsoever of Obamacare, the health care “reform” law that Obama and his supporters have, until the beginning of the current election cycle, referred to as a “historic” piece of legislation and his “most important domestic achievement.”

Such a glaring omission suggests the president and his advisors believe the voters are too dumb to remember that he and his congressional accomplices wasted a year cobbling together their unconstitutional health care boondoggle while unemployment raged out of control. It isn’t simply that Obama did nothing about the jobs problem while expending an enormous amount of time and no small amount of taxpayer money on backroom deals like the “Cornhusker kickback.” He ignored the pleas of the voters to set health reform aside until he had done something about an unemployment rate that was skyrocketing. At the time, even progressive bastions like the Huffington Post lamented that Obama “forced a health care bill at the expense of vitally needed focus on job creation.”

The absence of Obamacare from the president’s new campaign ad does not mean, however, that the White House itself has forgotten about the ironically titled Affordable Care Act. Obama’s reelection team is still trying to exploit it via low-profile initiatives intended to spread the good news without making the president or his surrogates actually talk about it. Thus, on Mother’s Day, the White House web site featured special e-cards ostensibly designed to help people “show some appreciation for the mom in your life,” including one that begins, “Happy Mother’s Day from the Affordable Care Act,” and proceeds to point out that, “Being a mom isn’t a pre-existing condition. It’s a joy.” Can you imagine the “joy” your mother would have experienced had you sent something like this to her on Sunday?

I’m not sure that even the most glassy-eyed Obamazombie is stupid enough to give his mom an Obamacare e-card on Mother’s Day, but it’s clear that Obama and his minions believe such people exist. It’s also obvious that the president’s men think voters are clueless enough to believe the phony statistics listed on the e-card about how women have already benefited from “reform,” and how these alleged goodies are somehow free of charge. And the contempt with which the Obama crew views the electorate naturally precludes any fear that some recipient of the Obamacare missive will know that the Supreme Court is about to strike down the guaranteed issue provision of the law and thus render the e-card’s claims about pre-existing conditions as empty as the president’s 2008 promises.

Ironically, the president’s empty promises will be the undoing of the Obamacare provision that forbids discrimination pursuant to pre-existing conditions. In 2008, Obama promised not to support an individual mandate. The president’s failure to keep his word, combined with the unconstitutionality of the mandate, is what landed Obamacare in the Supreme Court and forced his solicitor general to tell the justices that the guaranteed issue and community rating provisions of the law must be invalidated if the mandate is struck down. But the president’s re-election team no doubt believes the voters have forgotten his brazen flip-flop on the individual mandate, just as they believe we have forgotten his various flip-flops on gay marriage.

Obama and his accomplices certainly believe the voters are too clueless to remember his promises that Obamacare would reduce health insurance premiums, or to notice that our health care costs are still increasing at twice the rate of inflation. Likewise, they believe the public is too dumb to remember the president’s promise that his economic policies would prevent unemployment from reaching 8 percent, or to notice that average unemployment during his first term has exceeded 9 percent. And they obviously believe that the voters don’t have enough sense to remember how badly they wanted Obama and the Democrat-controlled Congress to give up their health care obsession and focus on the most serious issue facing the country then and now.

The president and his men are wrong. The voters want lower unemployment, lower gas prices, lower federal deficits, and genuine health reform. And public opinion surveys suggest that red herrings are not going to change these priorities. Nor will slick ads that claim Obama “fought for us.” The reality is that he has fought against us on health reform and any number of other issues. And attempts to shove disasters like Obamacare down the memory hole aren’t going to work. The voters are smarter than the president and his minions think.

Catron's wrong about this; or at best he's only 50% right.

Catron says: "The president and his men are wrong. The voters want lower unemployment, lower gas prices, lower federal deficits, and genuine health reform." SOME of them do -- the WORKING 50%. The other 50% wants free birth control, free tuition, EBT, Section 8, Medicaid, and SSI-Disability, racial quotas, gender quotas, Federal grants, and what-have-you.

That's EXACTLY what the election will be about in November. Problem is, even if the working people manage to win this year, the leeches will be back.

Jack in Wi.| 5.15.12 @ 6:37AM

The majority of voters want sane economic policy and no more waste on war, and welfare for the rich and poor alike. In other words they are against the elites of both parties and have no place to go. This has got to be the most uninspiring election I can remember, and I have been around a long time.

" Dr. Ron Paul’s Threat To Romney’s Campaign.

" Dr. Ron Paul is not suspending his campaign and he's not dropping out of the race. dr. paul plans to active campaign.

>> that was ron paul 's chief strategist on a conference call this morning clarifying the campaign statement which many media outlets took to mean he was ending the campaign. while he's not ending the campaign, he won't invest in the remaining primary states

he didn't suspend and when you talk about the end game here, steve, they outlined three goals. they would like to continue more states, continue party leadership positions and more delegates. presumably because they want to have a roll in tampa and what role that is specifically worth discussing. you think the paul campaign , according to a piece you wrote yesterday, could create chaos in t tampa ?

>> yes. forget all of the substantive stuff. if you see any of these video clips from republican state conventions where delegates are picked, this is many tampa bays, basically. the paul supporters have been flooding these things. they have been heckling romney speakers. and overtook the convention. there is some dispute over what happened but they were booing mitt romney 's kid. romney has won the right to have delegates but who they actually are is totally up for grabs. the ron paul people have grabbed, by their estimate, a couple hundred delegate spots reserved for mitt romney . they will go to the convention and have to vote for mitt romney but they are paul purists at heart. are they going to show up there and heckle speakers in what is supposed to be an infommercial?

>> they all don't have to vote for romney . some of them they are not committed.

Carton makes the same glaring mistakes that people on this side of the aisle, refuse to stop making. They fail to give Credit, where Credit is due.

Does anyone have a T.V. Guide? Of course you do. Have you ever gone through it, and see what's on Television? Do you know how many YEARS the Kardashian Whores have been on the air? What about the Greaseball Trash, from Jersey Shore? The Bachelor? The Bachelorette? How many Gay Centric Shows are on the Television, on any given night?

Now, let's feed these numbers in to the Smartometer and.............What do ya know. People ARE Stupid. Really Stupid. According to this, they spend more time worrying about their favourite Sports Team, than they do about the State of our Economic Policies, under a Far Left Democrat Administration, and Senate. The fact that the Democrat controlled Senate has REFUSED to pass a Budget in any of the last 3 years, lags way behind on the average schlub's List of things to think about, than does the contents of his Lunchbox, on any given day. 40 hours, a six pack, and a shot at The Maritals with the Wife, are all, too many of us, take the time to think about?

He is The One they've been waiting for. He is the Culmination of 100 Years of incrementalism via the LEFT. The Immigration Act of 1965, set in motion a Plan to take this Country over, by a sheer force of Numbers. The Cloward and Piven idea of Overwhelming the Social Welfare Systems, until the Country looks more like the Haiti side of the Islamd, than it does, the Dominican Republic side, is in full Implosion Mode, and is taking this Country Down to the point of no return.

What began in 1965, with the POS Kennedy brothers, and was expanded in 1986, also, with the impetus of Ted Kennedy, and still exists, today, is an unbelievable Plan to flood this Country with the Denizens of the Third World. Once here, they would be signed up for a Government Handout, just enough to sustain them, but never enough to allow them to break free. The end result is a Population of Pavlov's Dogs, who Drool with anticipation, at the very idea of Pulling the Lever for their Keepers, come Election Day.

The Muslim knows that he has but one chance to win. He must get every Stupid Person's Vote that he can. If he keeps it close? His Civilian Army will take care of the rest. With his Racist, Post Legal, Attorney General, running interference, the ACORNS, and their Union compatriots, will do what the Left always do, when confronted with an actual Election. They will STEAL IT, and they will do it with the aquiecense of this President, his Loyalists in the State Judicial Systems, and with the Deafening SILENCE of a Media, who, long ago, turned their backs on their Constitutional Responsibilty to be the WATCHDOG of our Liberties. Freedom of the Press was never meant to mean - A Free Pass to Give a Free Pass to one Political Party, over another, but that's where we are, today.

The unwillingness to give The Muslim his due, is on par with The Left's insistence that Reagan was an Amiable Dunce, even while he was running circles around them, and Pounding their Nominees in to the dirt.

There are only three conclusions you can come to, to explain how this Son of FILTH, raised in a backwoods, Third World Foreign Land, under the Tutelage of an Alien Religion of Death and Subjication, now sits on the Throne of the most Powerful Christian Nation, the World has ever know, at this time in History.

He is either a Fulfillment of Biblical Prophesy, he is a Super Evil Genius, or he is both.

It is folly to Discount those things that you can't explain, just because you can't explain them. The Universe is all around us, yet we can't explain HOW it came to be, which is why that "Single Hydrogen Atom" that the "Experts" used to bandy about, to explain the Origin of The Big Bang, has now become "THE GOD PARTICLE".

Evil Genius, is still, Genius. And he has used His, to divide this country in to Warring Camps, who will take to the Streets, in an Orgy of violence, should he Lose, or Win. Every City in America will be L.A. Circa Rodney King.

The One we've been waiting for, will NOT go away, quietly.

You can count on it.

Al Adab| 5.15.12 @ 11:34AM

Voters, especially republican ones, are an ignorant mass which must be led to the promised land. They simply are not intelligent enough to know what is good for them. They cling to their guns and god and don't understand how much they need government professionals to guide their lives.

We find ourselves saddled with a GOP that accepts this as at least semi-legitimate and refuses to attack the social-welfatre state for what it is. Where can we find those who intend to reduce its size and eliminate its influence on our everyday lives?

idalily| 5.15.12 @ 2:21PM

Al Adab, don't forget that republican voters also: hate women and want to take away their rights, are racists, homophobes, stupid, bitter, clinging, stingy, mean, uncaring, unfeeling, animal-hating neanderthals who want us all to have dirty water and dirty air, who want to rape the earth of all its resources and don't care about the planet or its people. Did I forget any of our other horrible qualities?

Okay, I shall now remove my tongue from my cheek.

Al Adab| 5.15.12 @ 2:29PM

I think that covers it but I'm sure that Purp or Brooksie might come up with a couple more. Of course they are so far advanced over us poor troglodytes that their brilliance is incomprehensible to us.

OT, Someone [can't recall who] recently advised Romney to make a trip to Israel to visit his old friend Bibi and RE-affirm American true support for their frontline efforts there, and I couldn't agree more. After this poor excuse for a POTUS's previous rude and crude attitude when the Israelian head of state visited the WH etc, I think a Romney visit would be the ticket to ride, especially with the Iranian situation heating up!!!!!

Lon Mead| 5.16.12 @ 6:25AM

Nope; "Stupid, stupid, stup...(slap)" come a little later - my line come from Eros decribing the escalating level of explosives.

BTW - The bit about Ed Wood wearing women's underwear at Guadalcanal is apocryphal; he joked about it, but it isn't true.

oldfart| 5.15.12 @ 6:34AM

Their attitude is that somehow 'they' have been granted 'superior' intelligence. Therefore, it is in the best interests of the 'people' to let 'them' make all our decisions for us.
Now I do have to agree with them on one point. If you were to gauge the American voting public by the programming and advertising trash on TV - they are, sadly, correct.
However, how many people really watch 'network' TV or get all giddy over the latest add from Verizon about the mother and daughter crying over the latest in smart phone technology.

Teaghan| 5.15.12 @ 7:08AM

We were totally sickened and grossed out by that Verizon commercial!

chuck| 5.15.12 @ 7:36AM

You actually watch commercials? Do you read internet ads too?

oldfart| 5.15.12 @ 10:04AM

No - I mute them waiting for what I am watching to come back on.

Elias| 5.15.12 @ 1:34PM

The blubbering mother-daughter Verizon commercials, etc., are the main reasons the Mute button and the Channel Selector buttons on the remote wear out so quickly at my house.

Al Adab| 5.15.12 @ 2:30PM

Since we pay for cable TV, why are there more commercials on cable that on broadcast (free) TV? We pay, there should be fewer, not more.

Teaghan| 5.15.12 @ 4:05PM

Ditto oldfart, but sometimes am putting together the meal and can't get to the remote soon enough!

Von Mises Jr| 5.15.12 @ 8:17AM

oldfart, this article by Mr. Catron misses the point. You are correct that these are elitist snobs who have an overly optimistic regard for their own intelligence. They thought that we were too stupid to know socialism and its failures when staring us right in the face.

They thought that they could sell the country on socialism without pushback. Their thinly veiled fascism is being rejected as GE and GM pay no taxes and Solyndra and "Green Energy" investors get 100% loan guarantees. Even the dopey leftist are ticked off that Obama is a Wall Street whore.

We were supposed to marvel at how Obama saved us from disaster and got unemployment down to 8% while taming inflation. But nobody believes his bull$hit. We are no better off after Dodd Frank that did nothing about Fannie and Freddie. Real U-3 is 11% per Jimmy P. at Reuters and real inflation is about 12% when you add back food and energy.
He did not think we would forget. The liberal (socialist) elitist thought we could not identify fascism from capitalism, or the real economic reality from fake statistics. Now they are in a panic.

John Daniel| 5.15.12 @ 6:47AM

Well, enough idiots voted for him last election...is there any reason to believe they've gotten a clue since....

Benevolent Benny| 5.17.12 @ 3:33PM

John, unfortunately you only have to visit the First Read column over at MSNBC to get your answer.

They are as much in the tank for Obama as they have ever been.

Redatheart| 5.15.12 @ 6:50AM

Whether considered stupid or not, it is clear that any voter that disagrees with this Admin and plans to donate/vote accordingly is going to be targeted. Yesterday on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe', Mark Halperin made some bold statements to that effect. He said if the SCOTUS declares ObamaCare unconstitutional, the Court will be targeted. Halperin talked about major donors to the Romney campaign or conservative PAC's being 'exposed' by Team Obama. He summed things up by saying anybody that stands in the way of the president's re-election will 'have their lives fileted'----as in slicing the flesh of a fish from its bones.

If 'big' donors are going to be targeted, attacked and investigated, are small donors, more easily intimidated next? How long before the voter that doesn't see much 'hope' in their near future or for the futures of their children goes on some list, as well?

Teaghan| 5.15.12 @ 7:05AM

With their love of unfettered taxpayer paid abortion, they have no room to speak of the "joy" of motherhood and reproduction. Filthy bastards.

michigander_sandusky| 5.15.12 @ 10:00AM

Amen! Recall the "Saddleback Debate" in 2008? Obama said making a decision on abortion was "above my pay grade." He waffled because he claimed he did not know "when life began." Think about that. If a person doesn't know when life begins what should their stance be on abortion? If a person has a conscience they'll not have to ponder that question very long!

nathan| 5.15.12 @ 7:19AM

Folks moron voters are a fact of life in this country and other countries I've lived in. Let's face it, you have 49 percent of the people of this country who don't pay a single dollar in federal income taxes. How are a lot of them going to vote?

The Founders had it right, no property (in this case we could extend that to you don't earn enough to pay federal taxes, you're on welfare, etc) you don't get to vote PERIOD. Again some sort of means test for voting. Because again they understood that people who have nothing are always going to vote for the "Robin Hood" candidate.

The moron voters are a huge block in this country which is why the notion that Mitt is just going to run away with this election is bloody nonsense. Expect a close race folks. And if Obama wins, that NDAA language that the honorable gentleman from Arizona supported and the oh so "conservative" speaker of the house allowed to pass may come back to haunt all of us. But not for the residents of the Commonweath of Virginia whose governor recently signed into law legislation saying they will not cooperate in any way in enforcing the Fifth Amendment destroying language. Obviously Clint has not gotten the email [from Paul supporter Doug Weed]:

'....The fact is that all of this fighting makes Ron Paul nervous. Yes, he is taking on the establishment. Yes, he wants the monetary policy reformed so that the poor and the middle class and even the excluded rich can know the thrill and opportunity of free markets that aren't rigged for insider trading. But Dr. Paul is a happy warrior on these issues. He is a person who has always believed in a respectful dialogue and debate. As John Tate says, "That is what he wants his legacy to be."Shouting people down is not Ron Paul's way. Winning a battle of ideas based on principles, in a respectful way, is how he approaches the contest and it is how he wants others to approach the contest, as well.......'

" Ex-Israeli officials criticize Netanyahu’s bellicose stance on Iran.

The former head of Israel’s Shin Bet security agency has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak for adopting a bellicose stance on Iran, according to the Haaretz daily.

Yuval Diskin, who was speaking at a public meeting in Beit-ul-Moqaddas (Jerusalem) on Friday, said Israel’s political leaders are exaggerating the effectiveness of a possible military attack on Iran, AP reported.

“I don’t have faith in the current leadership of Israel…,” he stated.

“I do not believe in a leadership that makes decisions based on Messianic feelings,” Diskin added.

Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan backed Diskin on Sunday, saying that he disagrees with Netanyahu’s policy on solving Iran’s issue, according to Haaretz.

He also called a strike against Iran’s nuclear program “stupid”, AP reported.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said at a conference hosted by the Jerusalem Post in New York on Sunday that he is against an attack on Iran, criticizing Netanyahu’s policy on Iran, Bloomberg reported.

In addition, Israel’s military chief Lieutenant General Benny Gantz, in an interview with Haaretz published on April 25, said that he does not believe Iran will decide to develop nuclear weapons, describing the country’s leadership as “very rational”.

“I think the Iranian leadership is comprised of very rational people,” Gantz stated.

he didn't suspend and when you talk about the end game here, steve, they outlined three goals. they would like to continue more states, continue party leadership positions and more delegates. presumably because they want to have a roll in tampa and what role that is specifically worth discussing. you think the paul campaign , according to a piece you wrote yesterday, could create chaos in t tampa ?

>> yes. forget all of the substantive stuff. if you see any of these video clips from republican state conventions where delegates are picked, this is many tampa bays, basically. the paul supporters have been flooding these things. they have been heckling romney speakers. and overtook the convention. there is some dispute over what happened but they were booing mitt romney 's kid. romney has won the right to have delegates but who they actually are is totally up for grabs. the ron paul people have grabbed, by their estimate, a couple hundred delegate spots reserved for mitt romney . they will go to the convention and have to vote for mitt romney but they are paul purists at heart. are they going to show up there and heckle speakers in what is supposed to be an infommercial?

Obama continues to chum the sucker-fish with fantasy, mythology, hoodoo, voodoo, and leftist hokum. Obama's anorexic resume indicated he was not qualified to be President and after 3+ years of his failed Presidency the accuracy of this evaluation has been confirmed. Any imbecile that wants four more years of this "Manchurian Candidate" is obviously entering the final stages of dementia and should seek immediate medical attention.

What is convenient about the commercial is the bad news that happened right up to the point were Obama is elected, then presto chango, things immediately get better. Well, it's the economy stupid (Obama). And things are not better. Unless you're on the federal dole.

Tim| 5.15.12 @ 8:50AM

Social Issues......Rinos don't want them....

and while the Rinos wanted to run as far from these issues as humanly possible here comes the judge and jury....Karl Obama putting the Gay Marriage issue on everyone's kitchen table.

It's like the little kid that uses the bathroom after Sunday Dinner and doesn't flush and worse leaves the door open causing everyone to leave the room.

Now in no way am I refereing to Gays as stench but rather I am suggesting that Obama will run a social issue campain....because he wants to and because he has to.

Lucky for Romney and the who didn't catch on in January.....the social conservatives in the key battle ground States will cause OBama to loose the Election but the saddest part of this is that the Rinos actually will believe that Romney will win because of the Economy First....Money maker cure all tonic

Romney will win because in places like North Carolina a majority of American voters don't want to be told that their ethics and moral beliefs are stupid and out dated.

But come March 2013 l we will hear how folks dont care about social ills they care about Jobs and money and the economy and the need to buy the new I Pad 5 for their kid.

Don't get me wrong. Romney is light years better than Obama but the missed opportunity to address the social conservative issues values that have collapsed in the Nation will come back to bite us and actually speed up the destruction of the nation well beyond the state that it now finds itself.

I agree 100%. Liberals keep creating euphemisms as the sugar to make the medicine go down. Health care paid by taxpayers is now "free health care." A tax is now called revenue enhancement. '......NewsmaxRev. Wright Was a Second Father to Obama Tuesday, May 15, 2012 12:01 PM
By: Ronald Kessler reporting from Washington, D.C. — The Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. was like a second father to Barack Obama and helped shape his political philosophy, author Ed Klein tells Newsmax based on his interview with Wright. For his book “The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House,” which hits bookstores this week, Klein interviewed Wright for three and a half hours. Wright told him of Obama’s secret efforts to keep him quiet during the presidential campaign. But the more significant material spotlights how important Wright was to Obama’s thinking even before the future president began going to Wright’s church in 1988.Rev. Jeremiah Wright, former pastor of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.“It’s one thing for Obama to sit in the church and listen to the Rev. Wright spew his hatred against whites, Jews, and America,” Klein says. “But in my view, having spoken to the Rev. Wright, that paled by comparison with the personal relationship that Obama had that went way beyond his simply being a member of the church listening to all this stuff.”Obama began his relationship with Wright, whom he has called a mentor and sounding board, three years before he began attending Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago.“Obama went to the Rev. Wright at every stage of his career whenever things went wrong,” says Klein, a contributing editor of Vanity Fair and a former editor-in-chief of the New York Times Magazine.“For instance, when he lost the 2000 congressional election for the seat that Bobby Rush, the former Black Panther, holds from the South Side of Chicago,” Klein says. “He was in a state of terrible depression, and he owed a great deal of money, and his marriage was on the rocks. Who did he go to? He went to the Rev. Wright for marriage counseling. He went to the Rev. Wright about what shall I do next, Rev? Every step of his career, every step of his development as a political figure was made in conjunction with conversations that he had with the Rev. Wright personally.”As revealed in my book “In the President’s Secret Service: Behind the Scenes with Agents in the Line of Fire and the Presidents They Protect,” just before Wright spoke at the National Press Club, Obama secretly met on April 4, 2008 with Wright at Trinity’s parsonage where Wright then lived. So that they would not be noticed, agents made a point of driving Obama in a mini-van instead of the usual Suburban. They parked their other vehicles a block away. Obama spent an hour with Wright and then left.“At this secret meeting with him, Obama practically begged him not to go on and speak any further,” Klein says. “This was after one of Obama’s best friends had sent an email to a member of the church saying that he was prepared to give the Rev. Wright $150,000 if he would shut up. The Rev. Wright told me that he has saved that email.” In the recorded interview, Wright says he basically could not afford to shut up for $150,000, Klein says.“Wright explained he had expenses that he had to pay,” Klein says. “He had a child and a couple of grandkids in college that he was paying for. And so he goes around the United States giving sermons and making speeches, and he gets paid for that.”Klein says Obama originally sought out Wright to discuss community activism.“Quickly the conversations turned from picking up garbage on the street and getting streetlights put up on street corners to political matters and religious matters,” Klein says. “And the Rev. Wright turned into really a substitute father figure, who guided Obama in the two major areas of his life.”The first area was Obama’s identity — just who was he?“Obama was steeped in Islam but knew nothing about Christianity,” Klein says.
Klein asked Wright if he converted Obama from being a Muslim into a Christian.
“He said, I don’t know about that. but I can tell you that I made it easy for him to come to an understanding of who Jesus Christ is and not feel that he was turning his back on his Islamic friends and his Islamic traditions and his understanding of Islam,” Klein says.
The second area was Obama’s political philosophy. Wright introduced Obama to Black Liberation theology.“Black Liberation theology is based essentially on the Marxist belief that there is an oppressor class and an oppressed class,” Klein says. “And in the case of Black Liberation theology, the oppressor class are the whites, and the oppressed are the blacks. And there is a ‘maldistribution’ of wealth in this country, a quote from Black Liberation theology.”The point is that wealth should be redistributed.“This is quite close, if not identical, to Marxist beliefs,” Klein says.As noted in my story Media Blackout on Rev. Wright Started in 2007, for three months during Obama’s primary campaign. The mainstream media ignored Newsmax stories reporting on Rev. Wright’s hate-filled sermons; his denunciations of America, whites, and Israel; and the fact that he gave an award for lifetime achievement to Louis Farrakhan. By the time the media picked up the stories, Obama was ahead of Hillary Clinton in the primary elections.
According to a Hillary Clinton aide quoted in David Remnick’s “The Ridge: The Life and Rise of Barack Obama,” if the media had run the Wright story just two months earlier, Obama’s candidacy “would have been over.”
“Everybody says Obama sat there for 20 years listening to the Rev. Wright spew his anti-white, anti-Jewish, anti-American tirade in church,” Klein says. “The fact of the matter is that his relationship with the Rev. Wright goes back further than his membership in the church and sitting and listening to the Rev. Wright.”
Klein says it was clear from his interview with Wright that he felt abandoned and stabbed in the back by Obama.“For many, many years, Wright was Obama’s single most important intellectual and spiritual guide, and when things got rough, Obama threw him under the bus,” Klein says. “Wright was still stinging from that experience.”........'

Rev. Wright arranged this marriage it fails to disclose their marriage is what is called in black communities a "Down Low Marriage". That is where a high profile flaming homosexual is paired up with a toxic streight female to give the appearance of it being a normal marriage.

Whoa, Oldefarte, I know you're sensitive about your writing style, but as been suggested previously by other posters, please employ the use of paragraphs.
They really do help get your point across.
You're right however, this book is a BLOCKBUSTER, which is why the LSM are ignoring it. Imagine if this was about Bush!!

Oldefarte| 5.15.12 @ 4:53PM

Anthony, as I've previously SPLAINED IT TO UM, it's not ''''my writing style'''''. I purposely compress the C&P'd news articles etc in order to save writing space here, okay? I'm not attempting to write a college thesis or a legal brief, so STYLE is of little consequence or significance. I'm simply trying to make a POINT in as little space as possible, so as not HOG this blogisphere. Please don't join the bandwagon here of calling out TAS swat team on me for not paragraphing. Regards!!!!!!!

Mickey| 5.15.12 @ 5:44PM

Please use paragraphs. Can't read your stuff. An eyestrain.
There's plenty of space here, dont worry about compressing.

Hit enter key every ten sentences. Please.

Oldefarte| 5.16.12 @ 1:18PM

The really interesting thing about the Klein book is, that while the left wing media is ignoring it, the right wing media is falling all over itself questioning Klein's reliability and credibility. In stead of checking out the facts of the matters alleged, the ones I have heard are trying to make sure that Klein is pure as the driven snow. Now that the conservative comentariat has joined the Republican Party, they have adopted the same aura of STUPID that was always associated with the GOP.

None of that shower "think" and it's for sure no visible member of the Zero cabinet nor any of his political appointees will ever know how difficult it is to be a Brain in their no-brain world.

That said, however, when the "Democrats" are as comprehensively in control as they unarguably are of every aspect, cog, wheel, nut and bolt of the nation's elections' machinery and compose, create and control our every electoral roll? The comparative IQs of "us" and "them" become relegated to redundant behind the traitor Roosevelt's Uncle Joe Stalin's very well 'urban-legend-affirmed' admonition that, "It's not the people that vote that count. It's the people that count the votes!"

Swap Plugs Biden for the recidivist co-serial-rapist Missus Cli'ton, enroll and count the votes of ten to twenty million criminal aliens and/or felons and/or Disney charaters and/or the long dead?

And suddenly Zero's a viable candidate.

God forbid!
