Talk to me in September about your Ray's, not April.
They're a good team, no question, but the first series of the season does not a season make.

You sound like a Yankee or Red Sox fan.

Interesting thing about Carlos Penas. Check out this clip from Brad Pitt's movie "Moneyball."

I'm not sure if this clip shows exactly what REALLY happened in oakland, but what is important is this: alleged genius Billy Beane scoffs at tradtional scouting and insists o nfollowing stats. His manager Art Howe insists on starting Carlos Pena at first base. Billy Beane smugly trades Pena, insisting that the numbers make Scott Hattieburg a better choice.

The movie uses this scene to establish how bold and brilliant Beane was. But the record roives conclusively that

1) Howe was 100% right
2) Beane was 100% wrong
3) Carlos Pena has been a much, MUCH better player!
