As we saw in Toulouse, there still are people who truly hate Jews and will use any means to kill them.

The gunman who killed a rabbi and his two children in front of a Jewish school in Toulouse, France, a few weeks ago chased his fourth victim, an eight year old girl, into the school playground. He cornered her against a fence and grabbed her by her hair. Then he pointed a .45 caliber automatic at her head and tried to shoot her but the gun jammed. So he took a 9 mm automatic out of his pocket and shot her point blank in the head, killing her instantly.  

The decent people of the world are right to be horrified about this latest example of Jew hatred and murder. But let’s bear this in mind. Europeans and other persons have loved to kill Jews for a long time.

During the roughly 2,000 days of World War II in Europe, the Nazis and their many, many local helpers killed an average of 3,000 Jews each and every day —the vast majority of them women and children, all of them civilians. So, four Jews is horrible in 2012 but barely noticeable — not noticeable at all a mere 70 years before… barely more than my lifetime. 

If you wonder why the Jewish state of Israel believes that it is in deadly peril from an Iranian nuclear bomb, just look at history. People who truly hate Jews, who believe that Jews are not human in fact or are the spawn of the devil, will use any means they can to kill Jews. Questions of morality or retaliation do not enter into the matter at all. The Nazis were still using every tool at their disposal to murder every Jew in their grasp just days before the Reich collapsed. 

The rulers of Iran have already said they don’t fear retaliation, want to wipe Israel off the map, and look forward to what they call “martyrdom” in return. History has shown that the Jews can only depend upon themselves. Even a truly staggeringly great man like Churchill did nothing to stop the Holocaust. Why would Israel think Obama would go to war for Israel? 

If you wonder why Israel is so deathly afraid about an Iranian bomb, think of that hand of the Toulouse gunman holding the eight-year-old Jewish girl by her hair and calmly shooting her in the head. Think of the hand of Ahmadinejad pressing a button to destroy Tel Aviv. Think of the Nazis’ industrial machine killing 3,000 Jews a day while the world did nothing. Think if it were your children under the gun. Think and remember.

Israel has between 200 and 500 atomic weapons and has been threatening the whole Middle East and even Europe with nuclear genocide for 40 years. I have seen numerous commenters on these pages calling for nuclear genocide against millions of innocent Muslims and Arab Christians. Everyday in Israels neighborhood it's neighbors live in fear of Israel's attacks on them. In 65 years of Israel's existence it has killed at least 10 times the people it calls it's enemies as they have themselves have had killed.

Now lets go on to other anti semitism. Before Hitler ever got a vote in Germany milllions of Russsian Christians were murdered by Jewish Bolshiviks. some of the greatest mass murderers in history were Jews. Kaganovich, Sverdlov, Derzinski, and the great neocon hero Trotsky. The Jewish historian Richard Pipes has stated that Hitler was impossible without Communism. I will say in my opinion that Communism, as it developed, was impossible without the fire of Jewish intellectuals. Hitler was all about blowback. Most of the antisemitism of the 20's has it's roots in reaction to Communism. I condemn all historical anti semitism and other racism as well. But Communism caused tremendous hatred against all Jews worldwide.

Now the incident in Toulouse was a terrible crime. Tell me the same thing about Bales in Afganistan who killed a lot more or every time some Israeli terror operation kills a bunch of innocent Arabs, and maybe I will believe you guys actually are about the rest of humanity.

Iran has signed the nuclear proliferation treaties and is under constant inspection. Its leaders have condemned nuclear weapons as against the will of God and has rejected building them and their use. All our security services and the Joint Chiefs of staff have said that Iran is not building a nuclear bomb and has no nulcear weapons program at this time. Numerous former Israeli intelligence people say the same thing and call an attack on Iran the dumbest thing possible.

If you guys didn't like the neighborhood and the neighbors, why did you steal the place in the first place and why do you stay there? When it comes to anti-semitisim or any other hateful conduct sometimes it helps to look in the mirror and wonder I perhaps say have I done at least something to cause all this hate against me as well? I follow the God who said blessed are the peacemakers and those who live by the sword will die by the sword.

Find any evidence that FDR had any interest in doing so. The allies were asked to bomb Birkenau and said no saying that Eighth Airforce planes could not make the round trip without having to stop in areas controlled by the Russians to refuel. That is all very true. What they failed to say was that Ninth Airforce planes based in Italy could make the trip and were not offered. FDR's interest in entering the European conflict had zero to do with the Holocaust. Find any set of quotes that prove that was the primary motives.

The same was true for Churchill. In fairness the Wansee conference didn't take place till what 1940 so the decision on total extermination had not been made when Hitler invaded Poland. But understand Churchill was frightfully racist. His handling of the famine in Bengal in 42-43 which resulted in the deaths of 1-3 million Indians caused a member of his cabinent, Avery, to compare him to Hitler in his diary. Given this, ending the Holocaust wasn't high on his list either.

But we forget something. How many people died directly in those camps, directly as a result of Holocaust related activities? 12 million is the figure we normally are given. How many of them were Jews? Only six. What about the other six? Where are the monuments to them? Gypsies which Hitler sought to wipe off the face of the planet? Silence. How about the others? No monuments NOTHING. We can appreciate the focus on the Jewish part of this but to focus EXCLUSIVELY on the Jewish half of the Holocaust dishonors the other six millions, makes them disappear so absolutely more so perhaps than Hitler could have dreamed of. Let's not forget them either.

Until that time Hitler was willing to let the Jews go to someplace in Africa or anywhere else but in Europe. He wanted them out of his empire, but not necessarily dead. He knew if he killed the Jews there never would be a peace treaty. By 1942, after the USA entered the war and the war in the USSR was going bad. He decided to kill as many Jews as he could. In our focus on the Holocaust we forget or ignore what happened in Asia. There are a handful of books on the subject like The Rape Of Nanking but very little. The numbers are perhaps not as high as Europe but horrible nonetheless. The Japanese retaliation just because of Doolittle Raid ran as high as a quarter million alone.

We need to remember those victims too. They deserve monuments and museums. The millions who were murdered, the comfort women, all of them are no less victims than those who died in the camps. Unlike dumb animals, we don't HAVE to operate by instinct, but instead can be rational.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people who apparently prefer to just operate like dumb animals instead of actually using their brain. I don't know what to do about this.

A book suggestion for all of the religious scholars here at Am Spectator, Son of Hamas by Mosab Hassan Yousef. His perspective is interesting because he not a keyboard warrior, he actually lived the Mid-East nightmare.
