A Nation of Breitbarts Rallies for Rush

Lifelock sticks with Rush. Fluke demands insurance for “gender reassignments.”

Guess what? I have a 3-year subscription ($139.00) with Carbonite, which began last September. I just got off the phone with a rep who told me that the subscription is NON-REFUNDABLE.

I demanded that the call be escalated to a supervisor, but, as you can imagine, one was not available to take the call. I would have to be called back later.

The rep said that the non-refundable policy was in the fine print I agreed to. Since when is a subscription NON-Refundable? I asked for the unused portion of my subscription to be refunded and I was told it would not be.

I then told the rep that if my money was not refunded, I would go to the media, both local and national.

(Note from me to Lila on Lila’s last line: You did — here it is.)

Name Withheld by Request to Pro-Flowers:

I am a long-time customer, but just unsubscribed from your promotional emails.

I am not a Rush Limbaugh listener, but I am a believer in freedom of speech.

Because you dropped your ads from Rush Limbaugh’s show — apparently at the behest of an organized cadre of the radical left — I plan the following:

I will never order from you again.

I will discontinue my formerly frequent referrals of you to friends.

I will go out of my way to “unrefer” you in favor of less politically correct competitors.

Are we getting the flavor here? My mailbox is stuffed with these from great people all over the country…it will take days to answer them all. I will do my best.

So one last thing to the Rush Ralliers.

I kept hearing a line today I had not heard. Then I was told the line is actually from a new T-shirt. Here’s the image of the shirt — and the story from The Washington Times.

Good for Rush. The lefties don't understand that his listeners, me since September '88, understand the game being played here. They've been trying since he went national in '88 to ridicule, demean, and eliminate him. Didn't work then and won't work now. While he may regret his choice of words this Fluke chick represents moral depravity and she's PROUD of it. If she's not the living embodiment of sleazy then the word has no meaning. Go Rush!

Timothy L. Pennell| 3.6.12 @ 7:30AM

Did you LOOK at Flukester's picture, on the Home Page. Did you REALLY look at it?

Look at it, again.

Does anyone believe that this Butt Ugly, Man Looking, Sack of Sh*t is having $6,000 worth of Sex every year? My Grandmother would have said that "She's Homelier than a Pail of Worms".

This Lying C*nt (Hat Tip: Bill Maher) couldn't get laid that many times, if she was living NAKED, on a Prisoner Island. Maureen Dowd has a better chance than this Skank. Alan Brooks has a better chance of waking up Sore, and with his pants down, than this Bride of Frankenstein looking, Slut.

We all know about this B*tch. We've seen her kind a thousand times. We all know that she's ANOTHER one of these Liberal Activists, who will Say and Do, whatever it is they have to, to "Fundamentally Change" Washington's/ Jefferson's/ Lincoln's/ and Reagan's America, in to Lenin's/Stalin's/Mao'/Castro's/and Chavez' Amerika.

More BIG LIE, at another make believe Press Conference, before a make believe Congressional Committee, frantically reported on by a buncha make believe "JournOlists". And if you don't want to PAY for her Sex in a Men's Room, at Madison Square Garden, during a Knick's Game? Then YOU HATE WOMEN!

Listen to me, sweetheart. I'm gonna tell you something that's gonna change your life. One word: PLASTICS. (Hat Tip: "The Graduate") You'd be doing everyone concerned, a favour. You get what you want. We don't have to pay for it. And some Poor Drug addled Drunk, doesn't have to look at ya, while it's happening.

Everybody wins.

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 10:45AM

I'll bet $1,000 that this woman is a militant (i.e., angry) lesbian, which would explain why she thinks alkaline batteries fall under the category of "reproductive health products" and should thus be "free."

She's simply a generic, off-the-shelf activist - which means a hateful nihilist. Her life would have no meaning whatsoever is she weren't obsessed with destruction.

Just another typical narcissistic, useless liberal who produces nothing of value but demands that the government provide for her every want simply because she did us the supreme favor of being born.

I find it hilarious that women are encouraged to have abortions because the fetuses they carry have no rights whatsover and are an inconvenient burden to the woman; but once the "mass of cells" becomes a person old enough to be utterly dependent on government (and, not coincidentally, become a future Democrat voter), suddenly they have a right to have their every whim indulged by the taxpayer for the next 80+ years.

Pity that Sandra's mother didn't use a condom when Sandra was conceived, or didn't go to that frat party where Sandra was conceived, or refrain from having sex with whatever liberal stranger helped create this callow, spoiled, black hole of a human being (no wonder Obama called her; Marxists of a feather destroy together).

Thank god they're beginning to sanction retroactive abortions.

I'd be happy to pick up the tab for Sandra Fluke's.

Seek| 3.6.12 @ 1:07PM

I thought people like you were pro-life.

Actually, she's fairly good-looking. If she were a conservative, you'd be conceding as much, too.

Mike Hawk| 3.6.12 @ 2:53PM

Speak for yourself. Don't prject your bad taste on me.

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 3:00PM

No, I'm down with the whole abortion thing now. You've shown me the way.

Particularly after-birth abortions. It opens up a whole new world of possibilities to solve some hitherto intractable problems.

And what a bigot you are!! I never said she was ugly. I said I'll bet she's a lesbian! So apparently it is YOU who are stereotyping, assuming that because I think she's a lesbian, I also think she's ugly.

I do not think she's ugly. But good looking? Maybe after five or six drinks - assuming the lesbian bar would let me in.

Todd S| 3.6.12 @ 3:41PM

Classic!

Cpm| 3.8.12 @ 5:24PM

And why does a lesbian have to spend anything on birth control?

beebop2| 3.6.12 @ 6:25PM

"Good looking" for someone you're related to perhaps, but not for someone you might actually kiss ....

Anthony| 3.6.12 @ 2:10PM

Gzrmlyk, That's the safest bet you'll ever make!
Ms. Fluke is this generation's D hack Anita Hill, who instead of searching for the ever elusive pubic hair on Coke cans, is into "gender reassessments".
Oh, the constant worry of contraceptive costs, when sitting in on "Recent developments in Transgender Law, followed by "Advanced Workplace Hostility", while attending the tony Georgetown Law School at $45,000 large, per year!! Who has time for sex when attending such weighty law classes????
"Long Dong Silver" may or may not be this babe's cup of cola, but with "gender reassessment", I guess it depends on which side of the bed she wake up on, and with what other "gender reassessor" is on the other side.
Fast forward 10 years; "All rise, the Honorable Sandra Fluke presiding".
Folks, revolution is a good thing, think about it!!!!

Al Adab| 3.6.12 @ 2:24PM

GRZ, TONY:
This matter is simply another canard by the Obama campaign to misdirect voters attention away from the economic and fiscal disaster they have created toward these more divise issues. Sadly the GOP is foolish enough to play along. The more we are distracted by such non-issues as this, the less our chances to prevail in November.

W| 3.6.12 @ 2:36PM

Al Adab
You are absolutely correct. Drop this stupid non issue with Fluke. Rush made a mistake calling her a name which then focused the debate on the name instead of Obamacare.
Now today he is criticizing Barbara Bush for saying this is a mean primary. Another stupid move. Attacking Barbara Bush, a popular first lady, is not going to add one vote to the Rep nominee and not add one female vote.

Anthony| 3.6.12 @ 7:03PM

Excuse me W, but Barbara Bush opened up her big mouth claiming this was the meanist R primary she could recall.Funny thing is, her hero, Romney, is the one with the super pac and all the dirty ads.
Bush is acting like Obozo, a world class hypocrite.
It's time for the RINOs to go extinct.
As far as Fluke is concerned, this whole thing is backfiring big time on the Ds, who once again overplayed their hand and gave us Ms. Fluke.
Manna from heaven, baby.

W| 3.6.12 @ 10:21PM

Anthony,
You may be 10o% correct in your analysis but attacking Barbara Bush will not add one vote for us in November, and may lose some.

ExHumboldtHoney| 3.8.12 @ 11:06PM

I think the whole point of "Breitbart is here" is that (as another famous newsman once said) "We're mad as hell, and we're not gonna take it anymore!""

Y'see, when we get angry and start pushing back, the RINO's ALWAYS tell us (along with the left) to sit down, shut up, or at least stay civil -- or else we're as bad as "they" are.

But we're not. Y'see, fighting back is not the same as attacking. We, the 40% majority, have been bullied by the mouthy 20% minority long enough.

The war is getting uglier. But it's not us starting or continuing the war, so quit telling us to be civil. Tell the left to. We're tired of being the punching bag for them, and yeah, we're all Breitbart now.

Mimi Mayes | 3.7.12 @ 1:04PM

Excuse me, but many people were offended by Barbara Bush's unkind comments about Sarah Palin. She does not wear the halo she once did, and I doubt many of Rush's listeners were offended. Besides, I think he was commenting on the irony of Mrs. Bush's opinion that the GOP has gone off the tracks because we don't like "compromise". Uh, I believe GHWB was booted from office after his "compromise" with the Dems to raise taxes after "read my lips, no new taxes."

LC Jackboot | 3.6.12 @ 6:37PM

Nailed it Al Adab- Team O desperately needs something big enough to distract the electorate that has wheels enough to carry them into the summer. What they of course, as rotten planners, missed is that as this issue morphs it will rally the conservatives, initially with Rushbo, and then onto crushing the left's ability to EVER use this again. This totally made out of whole cloth gambit has awakened the conservatives directly to respond. The hell with limp-wrist R candidates to respond, we'll just do this on our own, thank you

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 3:38PM

I have no doubt that Sandra Fluke is a liberal's idea of the ideal Supreme Court Justice.

Fortunately, I think this country will be a rubble-strewn wasteland in five years and there will be nothing to preside over except Lord of the Flies enclaves and zero-sum outposts.

The liberals will get their wish. The victory of a parasite is to waste the host away until both die.

Bon appetit, liberals.

goldwater girl| 3.6.12 @ 2:44PM

Grmz,
I would be honored to split the tab on this very late term abortion!

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 3:20PM

It's a deal!

The problem with W's comments above - and I don't have an answer - is that Rush's comments about this piece of medical waste, Sandra Fluke, are not out of line with what liberals say about conservatives day in and day out. It's the double standard that cripples conservatives.

The sad reality is that, when we wag our fingers at Rush and say, "bad boy. You've gone and pissed off the mainstream media and changed the focuse of the debate," we are playing into the media's hands. Hell, the very existence of Sandra Fluke herself as a sudden media football was a deliberate diversion propagated by Obama.

How many times a night does Bill Maher say far worse? Stephen Colbert? Nancy Pelosi? Al Sharpton? Debbie Wassername Shultz?

So now we have to play by the liberal media's rules of civility. Once again, we're not allowed to get our uniforms dirty even as the left wallows in raw sewage.

We will NEVER win until the popular culture, as conjured by the mainstream media, changes.

Which means we will never win.

And, by the way, I haven't heard too damned much about Obamacare from the GOP anyway. AS usual, they'll stick their finger in the wind, see that most people would rather have something for nothing than nothing for something, and play go-along-to-get-along just as far as they possibly can before we crash and burn.

That will be Romney's legacy, as it was George Bush's to a great extent. As it was Bush Senior's to a great extent. As it was Ford's to a great extent. As it was Nixon's to a great extent.

The sad truth is that we have already lost this country because we have a culture whose primary tenet is belief in an utterly false reality; it's bread and circuses time. America's collapse is a fait accompli.

Tree Of Liberty| 3.6.12 @ 3:31PM

Are you sure about that?

Natural manure: everywhere.
Environmentalists: everywhere.
Retroactive abortions: coming in vogue.

And I am famished.

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 3:42PM

The problem is that retroactive abortions will only be legal when performed on conservatives.

Soljerblue| 3.6.12 @ 11:02PM

What was the title of that movie a few years back? Oh, yeah. "There Will Be Blood"

cuban pete| 3.6.12 @ 4:04PM

G-Man:
You will recall the John Henry Faulk matter in the mid-fifties. Faulk said things that angered his sponsors and he was let go. Lefties went nuts and were appalled that a sponsor would pull their money because a program they sponsored put forth a position with which they disagreed. I recall a made for TV, sympathetic program about the incident years ago.
Now the shoe is on the other foot and isn't it great that advertisers are abandoning Rush.
As always your comments are spot on.
All the best,
CP

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 4:47PM

Thanks, CP - I do not recall that incident.

I do know that liberals want free speech only for themselves and insist on silencing the opposition.

That is a requirment of a totalitarian state, of course.

W| 3.6.12 @ 4:04PM

MrG
As Rush said, do we want to lower ourselves to the level of Maher, Pelosi, Stewart-Leibowitz, Schulz, etc? What did we accomplish by calling Fluke a slut?
We are not going to win an election by name calling.

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 4:51PM

The problem, though, is that we are expected to fight using Marquis of Queensbury rules while the left can bring a nuclear arsenal to the fight.

That is asymmetric warfare. Such is life - and we're only polite when it comes to - horror of horrors - upsetting the mainstream media. I've noticed that the mudslinging from one Republican to another is just as vitriolic as anything the left throws at us.

W| 3.6.12 @ 5:55PM

We have enough material on Obama to go nuclear, from Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, 15 Trillion dollar defiicit, No drilling, Afghan war, War on religion, lousy economy, "Fast and furious" scandal, to beat him.

My point is on the tactics. Calling a woman names will not get us any votes. We have wasted a week arguing whether Fluke is a whatever, instead of attacking Obama.

Grzmlyk| 3.6.12 @ 8:30PM

But we will never have the moral courage to identify the elephant in the room, which is the destructive, sociopathic, narcisisstic, immature, amoral, lying, cheating, thieving, lazy character of Barack Obama.

And Romney has all but said he won't question Obama's character.

Meanwhile, in 2008, Bill Maher and countless others could drag Sarah Palin through the sewage and that was just peachy keen.

Don't you remember John McCain instructing the entire GOP in 2008 to keep a civil tongue in its head and not go after Obama personally? He even castigated radio talk-show host Bill Cunningham for having the bad taste to use Obama's full name (Barack Hussein Obama) in his introduction of McCain at a rally!

I agree that infighting among the GOP isn't helpful with respect to cluck-clucking over Limbaugh's crass comments. I even agree that this wasn't Limbaugh's finest hour.

But to have John Boehner and other prominent Republicans come out hours later slamming Limbaugh - well, if this were happening on the Democrat side - and it happens all the time - nobody would be wringing their hands over the incivility within their ranks. They'd be closing ranks and pretending they are the aggrieved parties, and the press would provide them with sufficient cover.

As I say, I don't like the infighting - but Rush said what he said and he has a right to say it. And, frankly, his larger point was right on the money.

The GOP thinks it's more important to get through the game with clean uniforms than to win it. Because of that, we deserve to lose.

W| 3.6.12 @ 10:18PM

Mr G
I agree with you about McCain refusing to attack Obama on the Rev Wright/Ayers issue was a mistake, and it was stupid for McCain to criticize his supporters for using the name "Hussein" when that is Obama's name, and he now uses it regularly. I also agree it is stupid for Republicans to attack Rush for making a mistake. Boehner, etc. should have stayed out of it, Rush can handle it without Bohener's input.
I just finished a book about the Dems bloggers,"The Argument,Billionaires, Bloggers, and the Battle to Remake the Democratic Politics," by Matt Bai. Mostly the Daily Klos people, and the Howard Dean supporters. They all complain that the Dems are weak, disunited, and afraid of the Republicans! And they view the Repubs as mean, tough, dirty, and will do anything to win!
I think Romney, Rick, and Newt will take the fight to Obama, as much, and more than they have attacked each other.

Soljerblue| 3.6.12 @ 11:11PM

Newt, for sure. Rick, very likely. Romney? Not so much.

adam| 3.8.12 @ 11:15PM

Romney says, in terms that were insulting to "his" voters, that he will not. Do you also believe Achmedinijad is just kidding around when he says he wants to wipe Israel off the map?

Soljerblue| 3.6.12 @ 11:08PM

"As I say, I don't like the infighting - but Rush said what he said and he has a right to say it. And, frankly, his larger point was right on the money.

"The GOP thinks it's more important to get through the game with clean uniforms than to win it. Because of that, we deserve to lose."

You are dead bang on, Grz -- and the biggest problem for those of us willing to get our uniforms dirty is the so-called 'leadership' in our own party.

Pierre "Purp" Pelosi,

You are embarrassing us.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know there is no reason why MEDICAL INSURANCE should be part of any employee - employer relationship.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know there is no reason MEDICAL INSURANCE is not purchased by citizens just like AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE or HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE or LIFE INSURANCE is purchased.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know MEDICAL INSURANCE is a contingency for unforeseen calamities and is not for voluntary lifestyle choices whether they involve the care of health or not.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know PREGNANCY IS NOT A DISEASE or any other type of unforeseen calamity.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know FORCING OTHER CITIZENS TO PAY FOR your voluntary lifestyle choices is despicable and the fact that your teabagged jaw dislocation and your infestation of AIDS and your rodent-scratched fecal sewer pipe are each painful and expensive is not the problem of any other citizen.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know actions that embarrass us do not help our efforts to ensure other citizens actually pay for your medical costs associated with your voluntary lifestyle choices that resulted in your teabagged jaw dislocation and your AIDS and your rodent-scratched fecal sewer pipe.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know 49.5% of citizens DO NOT PAY income taxes.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know over 70% of federal spending is for DEPENDENCE programs.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know over 91 million citizens are DEPENDENT on government.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know each taxpayer already OWES OVER ONE MILLION DOLLARS each to settle the debt of the nation.

Even our other bottom rung MM mindless parrots know those DEPENDENT ON GOVERNMENT RECEIVE MORE MONEY THAN CITIZENS ACTUALLY EARN since disposable income per capita is less than federal spending per recipient.

Stop embarrassing us.

Taking out your frustrations with your teabagged jaw dislocation and your infestation of AIDS and your fecal sewer pipe that was mercilessly scraped raw by the rodent that was in there on purpose is no sufficient reason to further expose our ridiculous position that is under fierce assault.

are you oblivious to the current budget deficits of some of your illustrious blue states? not that you would consider it, but economics is a bigger subject than blue/red state.
California, Illinois, New York, as I remember are "blue" states that are running DEFICITS.
the 2009 "stimulus" bill was mostly money set aside for helping states with their unemployment insurances, medicaid, and other partnered programs.

There is an article at the Washington Post by Richard Cohen claiming Andrew Breitbart was a bomb thrower without ideas.

In the third quarter of last year, the Washington Post's profits fell 50%. In the latest released figures they fell another 22%. Those figures are huge and show the old media is dying. They won't go down easy but the public is rejecting their business model.

Rush sold out a ong time ago. He caved when the gay lobby got after him for making fun of them, in the early 90's. He has sold out real conservatives with his endless support of the Republican establishmnet and the Israeli and war lobbies. I think he had a great talent and was a listener for 13 years. I grew up and Rush didn't. He is a great entertainer, who had a great gift of political satire. He sold out with his endless shilling for the Bush's and the wars. At his age and with his medical problems, he is near the end of the road. I don't see anyone coming along that can replace him. He got stale and so have Hannity, O' Blarney, and Levin. They all sing from the same hymnal.

" In a stunning coincidence, It appears Andrew Breitbart suffered his untimely death just hours before he was set to release damning video footage that could have sunk Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.

Around three weeks ago on February 9 during the ‘Blog Bash’ event in Washington DC, Breitbart made a prophetic comment that takes on a somewhat chilling nature given the fact that he died in the early hours of March 1st.

Speaking to Lawrence Sinclair of Sinclair News, Breitbart stated, “Wait til they see what happens March 1st.”

It’s almost certain that Breitbart was referring to his plan to release damning footage of President Obama that he had been promising to reveal throughout the month of February.

As we reported yesterday, Breitbart spoke of his intention to release the tape during his CPAC speech last month. The footage shows Obama in his college days appearing alongside former Weather Underground terrorists Bill and Bernardine Dohrn. Observers had speculated that the footage could have derailed Obama’s hopes for a second term.

“I’ve got video from his college days that show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008 – the videos are going to come out,” said Breitbart, adding that Obama would be vetted."

Liberals are capable of only unintelligent and dishonest emotional prattle devoid of reason and experience.

The political debate in this country between conservatives and liberals is not between two more or less equal sides in an argument over honest differences in opinion that is basically just disagreements about details.

There is no real debate between conversatives and liberals because liberals are capable of only unintelligent and dishonest emotional prattle devoid of reason and experience.

Liberals are capable of only unintelligent and dishonest emotional prattle devoid of reason and experience whether the discussion is social, political, economic, religious, or scientific.

Kingofthenet is the epitome of a liberal capable of only unintelligent and dishonest emotional prattle devoid of reason and experience because every post on American Spectator is exclusively emotional prattle.

"You Rethugs are ALL Sluts, and whores...[sic]" (Kingofthenet 3.6.12 @ 7:15AM) is unintelligent and dishonest.

"You Rethugs are All Sluts, and whores...[sic]" (Kingofthenet 3.6.12 @ 7:15AM) is not based on any reason and experience.

"You Rethugs are All Sluts , and whores... [sic]" (Kingofthenet 3.6.12 @ 7:15AM) is exclusively emotional prattle.

Kingofthenet exclusively posts liberal emotional prattle despite intelligent and honest responses based on reason and experience.

"But I will NEVER, EVER for ANY reason allow the state to control the inner workings of my male body, so I couldn't in good conscense [sic] allow them to mess with yours." (Kingofthenet 1.19.12 @ 5:02PM)

"Does this mean you will not tolerate Obamacare? After all, Obamacare will decide what, if anything, will be done medically to any and every part of your body." (skip 1.19.12 @ 5:51PM)

"Believe you me, ANYWHERE that has nation [sic] Health Care has a THRIVING industry in Private Medical Care, for the impatient [sic]." (Kingofthenet 1.19.12 @ 5:59PM)

""The Premier of Canada's east coast province is undergoing heart surgery in the United States this week because the treatment he is seeking was not available in his home province." (Huffington Post 2.2.10) "A former NHS director died after waiting for nine months for an operation-- at her own hospital," London's Daily Mail reports: . . . her appointments to go under the knife were cancelled four times . . . " (Wall Street Journal 4.1.11)" (skip 1.19.12 @ 7:43PM)

Kingofthenet, like every other liberal without exception, exclusively posts liberal emotional prattle despite intelligent and honest responses based on reason and experience.

"Rush is often compared in this space to the late William F. Buckley, Jr. in the sense that he has emerged as America's premiere conservative spokesman" - Ronald Reagan would be so ashamed of you Mr. Lord. Rush L. is so far beneath Wm F Buckley, it isn't even funny.
If Rush L. is the best the Conservatives can put forth as a spokesman, it simply proves the dumbing down of America is real and alive.
Sure the Left has some wackos too, but anyone that talked like Rush on daytime radio where children's minds could be polluted by his perversions of wanting college girls to send him videotapes of the girls having sex would be summarily fired. Why he isn't fired I'll never know. But I'll guess - follow the money.

DRed| 3.6.12 @ 2:15PM

Poor Rush. The leftists are after him because he made one little mistake and said two words he shouldn't have. Let's see how this man "one of the most decent human beings on the planet" made such a tiny mistake:

1) “testifies she’s having so much sex she can’t afford her own birth control pills and she agrees that Obama should provide them, or the Pope”
2) “they’re having so much sex they can’t afford the birth control pills!”
3) “essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She’s having so much sex she can’t afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex.”
4) “Sandra Fluke. So much sex going on, they can’t afford birth control pills.”
March 1, 2012:
5) “You’d call ‘em a slut, a prostitute”
6) “she’s having so much sex”
7) “are having so much sex that they’re going broke”
8) “they want to have sex any time, as many times and as often as they want, with as many partners as they want”
9) “the sexual habits of female law students at Georgetown”
10) “are having so much sex that they’re going broke”
11) “having so much sex that it’s hard to make ends meet”
12) “four out of every ten co-eds are having so much sex that it’s hard to make ends meet”
13) “Now, what does that make her? She wants us to buy her sex.”
14) “to pay for these co-eds to have sex”
15) “she and her co-ed classmates are having sex nearly three times a day for three years straight, apparently these deadbeat boyfriends or random hookups that these babes are encountering here, having sex with nearly three times a day”
16) “Therefore we are paying her to have sex. Therefore we are paying her for having sex.”
17) “Have you ever heard of not having sex so often?”
18) “Ms. Fluke and the rest of you feminazis, here’s the deal: If we are going to pay for your contraceptives and thus pay for you to have sex, we want something for it. And I’ll tell you what it is. We want you to post the videos online so we can all watch.”
19) “we want something in return, Ms. Fluke: And that would be the videos of all this sex posted online so we can see what we are getting for our money.”
20) “’If we’re paying for this, it makes these women sluts, prostitutes.’ And what else could it be?”
21) “essentially says that she must be paid to have sex. What does that make her? It makes her a slut, right?”
22) “I’m having sex so damn much, I’m going broke.”
23) “She’s having so much sex that she’s going broke! There’s no question about her virtue.”
24) “having so much sex she’s going broke at Georgetown Law.”
25) “Here’s a woman exercising no self-control. The fact that she wants to have repeated, never-ending, as often as she wants it sex—given.”
26) “She’s having so much sex it’s amazing she can still walk, but she made it up there.”
27) “Maybe they’re sex addicts.”
28) “to pay for her to have sex all the time.”
29) “she wants the rest of us to pay for her sex.”
30) “She wants all the sex that she wants all the time paid for by the rest of us.”
31) “Here this babe goes before Congress and wants thousands of dollars to pay for her sex.”
32) “a woman who is happily presenting herself as an immoral, baseless, no-purpose-to-her-life woman.”
33) “She wants all the sex in the world, whenever she wants it, all the time.”
34) “If this woman wants to have sex ten times a day for three years, fine and dandy.”
35) “to provide women from Georgetown Law unlimited, no-consequences sex.”
36) “so she can have unlimited, no-consequences sex.”
37) “You want to have all the sex you want all day long, no consequences, no responsibility for your behavior”
38) “The woman wants unlimited, no-responsibility, no-consequences sex, and she wants it with contraceptives paid for by us.”
March 2, 2012:
39) “she’s having so much sex, she can’t afford her birth control pills anymore.”
40) “she’s having so much sex, she can’t pay for it—and we should.”
41) “She’s having so much sex, she can’t afford it.”
42) “this, frankly hilarious claim that she’s having so much sex (and her buddies with her) that she can’t afford it.”
43) “And not one person says, ‘Well, did you ever think about maybe backing off the amount of sex that you have?’”
44) “Does she have more boyfriends? Ha! They’re lined up around the block.”
45) “It was Sandra Fluke who said that she was having so much sex, she can’t afford it.”
46) “By her own admission, in her own words, Sandra Fluke is having so much sex that she can’t afford it.”
47) “they’re having a lot of sex for which they need a lot of contraception.”
48) “Her sex life is active and she’s having sex so frequently that she can’t afford all the birth control pills that she needs.”
49) “who admits to having so much sex that she can’t afford it anymore.”
50) “she’s having so much sex, she can’t pay for it.”
51) “As frequently as she has sex and to not be pregnant, she’s obviously succeeding in contraception.”
52) “Ms. Fluke, asserts her right to free contraceptive, to handle her sex life—and it’s, by her own admission, quite active.”
53) “Ms. Fluke, who bought your condoms in junior high? Who bought your condoms in the sixth grade, or your contraception?”

Rush is a vicious redneck, deep down. He makes me ashamed to call myself a conservative. Can anyone imagine Russell Kirk, William F. Buckley, Frank Meyer, Robert Nisbet or Richard Weaver talking like Limbaugh? Can you imagine Robert Taft, Ronald Reagan or Barry Goldwater, back in the day, talking like anything like him? I can't. These were men of class. That Limbaugh, a witless bore, is an A-list celebrity tells me all I need to know about the decline of the conservative mind.

Seek=TypicalLiberal| 3.6.12 @ 4:47PM

You are not a conservative.

All liberals are liars. All liberals are cheats. All liberals are thieves. Liberals actively seek to be sluts; it not only is a badge of honor to liberals, it detracts from the fact liberals are each and every one a liar and a cheat and a thief.

slut:
an immoral woman; one who commits adultery or fornication

Liberals actively 'seek' to be sluts. Immoral women have abortions. Abortions are practically considered a rite of passage to be a liberal. Liberals had no problem with all the adultery Clinton was too stupid to keep everyone on the planet from knowing all about.
(Whether the hideous middle-aged professional reproductive studies radical activist of the pending inevitable future homosexual lifestyle declaration is actively seeking others to pay for contraceptives for active sexual lifestyles with the bonus of an infinitesimal percentage of medical purposes is a slut or so hideous the chance to be one has never materialized is trivial compared to the fact she is just one more liberal liar and cheat and thief same as every other liberal.)
Unwed college students who have sex are fornicating. Liberals are actively seeking to make fornication the national pastime. All homosexuals have sex outside marriage. Sex outside marriage is immoral. Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. Of course liberals disagree with this definition of reality; they are all liars, cheats and thieves. If you call the tail of a dog a leg the dog still has four legs. Of course liberals will swear the dog has five legs; they are all liars, cheats and thieves.

You 'Seek' are a liberal. Your posts are not a fifth leg; they are all tails.

Larry| 3.7.12 @ 4:51AM

What, did a turd fall in your tea, sir? The only "Stupid Party" at the moment is you. Nothing you have said has any rhyme or reason to it. Intelligent conservatives going into the arms of the libertarians? You mean, like George Will? Like Fred Barnes? Yeah, they are going to go libertarian, really.

PolishKnight| 3.6.12 @ 3:36PM

Libertarians are loons. They want open immigration and then promise that after the whole world moves to the states and demands big government race entitlements and welfare, they'll "win" and get libertarianism via "free markets." Insanity. It's like political pacifism.

It must be remembered that this young woman was supposedly provided to congress through one NANCY PILOSI's influence. Does anyone smell a rat here? This incident [like the Democrat conspiracy of herding the Republican conservatives into this political box canyon over religion and contraception] is a political setup by the coniving Democrats strictly for political purposes. Democrats are so expert at doing things like this and it is a shame that Republicans are so stupid to fall for these political tricks. With discussions and editorial flying off the wall concerning same instead of about the horrendous economy and overspending by these Democrats, Obama, Axelrod, Emmanuel, Pilosi etc are laughing their combined substantial a*ses off at the stupidity of the Repubicans for taking their bait. ITS THE DEMOCRATS STUPIDS!!!!!!!!

Con Chef (NB) | 3.6.12 @ 4:38PM

She's an activist with history. Hence her reason for being at Georgetown.

http://patdollard.com/2012/03/.....ith-video/

" It was then revealed that prior to attending Georgetown she was an active women’s right advocate. In one of her first interviews she is quoted as talking about how she reviewed Georgetown’s insurance policy prior to committing to attend, and seeing that it didn’t cover contraceptive services, she decided to attend with the express purpose of battling this policy. During this time, she was described as a 23-year-old coed. Magically, at the same time Congress is debating the forced coverage of contraception, she appears and is even brought to Capitol Hill to testify. This morning, in an interview with Matt Lauer on the Today show, it was revealed that she is 30 years old, NOT the 23 that had been reported all along."

The conservative brain trust once led by William F. Buckley and Russell Kirk has been supplanted by talk radio hosts and Sarah Palin populists. In its embrace of the religious right under George W. Bush, the Republican Party became the stupid party. And committing suicide along with it has been the conservative movement. The party united around god, guns and gays is finished. It takes courage to swim against the tide of know-nothingness that has become de rigueur among the anti-elite, anti-intellectual Republican base.

You don't know what you are talking about, dunderhead, with respect to these two men, not one whit. So stop invoking them. Neither of those two good fellows had ANY sizable intellectual influence upon the Republican Party. Russell Kirk didn't want to have such influence. Kirk wanted to battle the leftist academics, and he didn't get much help from guys like you. By the way, the conservative movement is alive, well, and kicking. You had better get with the program, because if you don't, we are going to have another four years of Barack the Usurper. It is time for you to grow up and realize that both Buckley and Kirk are dead, and that we have an existential and political crisis on our hands. Simon Templar| 3.6.12 @ 6:31PM

Since everyone is so concerned about fact, fairness, and truth, let us look EXACTLY at what Rush said that day.

"What does it say about the college co-ed Sandra Fluke, who goes before a congressional committee and essentially says that she must be paid to have sex, what does that make her? It makes her a slut, right? It makes her a prostitute. She wants to be paid to have sex. She's having so much sex she can't afford the contraception. She wants you and me and the taxpayers to pay her to have sex. What does that make us? We're the pimps. (interruption) The johns? We would be the johns? No! We're not the johns. (interruption) Yeah, that's right. Pimp's not the right word. Okay, so she's not a slut. She's "round heeled." I take it back."

This is the tempest in a teapot. The guy clearly was making an analogy with Butt Sisters music, and all and was attempting to define how absurd and comical this all was just as Saturday Night Live has done a thousand times in thirty years with much more pointed sarcasm and ridicule. This is what he does, political humor. So, technically did he or did he call her a slut for real, or was it jesting, he technicallly said she was not at the end and retracted...in the same sentence he called himself a john or pimp? Maybe he should apologize to himself.

What really is going on here is just an organized hypocritical, cheap and coordinated attack on free speech, a conservative, and an attempt to distract away from their messiah's failed economic policies. You even have one of their own, a respected liberal journalist and a woman of the Fox News staff saying just that...

This was no different when most everybody called congress thieves, crooks, felons, and criminal when we learned that they were using inside trading information for their own gain. Were they technically breaking the law? Unfortunately no. But we used an analogy to demonstrate the absurdity and distasteful unethical acts as being close to criminal and we were angry about it because it offended our sense of values about fairness, our distaste for greed, and our ideas about how our reps should be behaving as our reps and what we beleive they should be doing there in congress.

The hypocricy truly is stunning coming from the Left as well as the insincerity. You owe me an apology and the rest of the nation. Get started you phony, liberal hypocrites. You can start apologizing for Bill Maher and then move on to the other dozen loudmouths you hold up on a pedestal.

Who by the way actually do emphatically and without any question, parody, or jest, or ambiguity call women, conservative women, cunts, whores, sluts, meatbags, and half a dozen other names......on prime time! Stunningly amazing hypocricy!

People who build and live in misogynistic and vitriolic houses should not throw stones!

I love how on the second day he's so full of fight. He's so, so, so indignant that anyone dared to criticize the great Rushbo. You can see his jowls swaying hypnotically as he calls her slut again (and again and again), demands american women film themselves having sex and send the videos to him, accuses Ms. Fluke of starting to have sex in the 6th grade, repeatedly lies about what Ms. Fluke said, etc. I wonder how he feels now that 36 of his advertisers have dropped him like an aging wife.

Sara Palin was treated to being called a "cunt", courtesy of Bill Maher and a special target of the MSM

How many articles has The American Spectator run defending Rush in the last few days? Aaron Goldstein was the only one who called him out and you all spent the weekend attacking him.

And do you really think Bill Maher is the left wing equivalent of Rushbo? As Rush's fans so often boast, there is no leftist equivalent of him. Was Bill Maher made an honorary member of the Democratic Congressional Caucus? Has the head of the DNC ever groveled for an apology after insulting Ed Schultz?

Evan3457| 3.7.12 @ 2:33AM

And what of actual Congressperson Maxine Waters, who called Boehner and Cantor "demons". Does she not count? And what of Gov. Brown of California, who called his election opponent Meg Whitman a "whore"? You know, real, actual officeholders, as opposed to metaphorical ones? Does he not count?

madnessofjack| 3.6.12 @ 8:11PM

I mispoke Maher called Sarah Palin a "cunt" and a "twat".
Michelle Bachman is just gets the drive by insults.

Just How Stupid Is Michelle Bachmann? - The Twat Heard 'Round The World! So..... how stupid is Michelle Bachmann, really?

In keeping with her fetish for extremism of all types, "extremely stupid" would apparently be the answer to that question. Just ask the folks in New Hampshire.

While it has been shown time and again that Michelle Bachmann regularly and deliberately distorts the truth and fabricates statistics...... she has also started to amass quite a pile of evidence that she is dumber than a box of rocks as well.

In particular, she seems to have trouble with the circumstances relating to the founding of our nation.... which is ironic since it is a subject that she references, ad nauseam, in her attempts to connect her fucked-up ideologies to those of the founding fathers.

O'Donnell makes some important points about the depth of Bachmann's ignorance and the ineptitude displayed by her handlers in allowing her to make such ridiculous statements in obviously prepared statements.

When you start making Sarah Palin look smart by comparison, it might be time to just shut the fuck up.

Just sayin'.......

Like some of the other stuff you've claimed, I would tend to doubt you. You have given me no reason to believe you. By the way, I heard the whole thing on the radio. Simon Templar is right; he understood the context of the whole thing, much as I did. YouTube isn't going to change anybody's mind, especially your own, when it comes to interpretation. Troll, begone!

Simon Templar| 3.6.12 @ 8:41PM

DuhRed,

No, as usual you lie and continue to lie and distort, the video you have suggested is just a repitition of the same comments (chopped up and taken out of their context) and are presented as if they were seperate comments, the references to sending videos and all of the rest was obvious sarcasm, dramatic exaggeration to make a point, and satire, have you ever heard of those concepts. Do not pretend like he was actually calling for videos. The slut references were referencing the debate about him allegedly calling her slut and the liberal reaction to the analogy he was making and the word, not additional statements calling her a slut.

For those interested in an accurate presentation other than a youtube video create by a communist hack on the internet, then go to Rush's site, full transcripts are out there.

If you have trouble with these concepts I suggest you tune into The Daily Show with Stewart, Politically incorrect with Bill Maher, and the other ding bat that pretends to be a conservative. You will get much worse there and clear and dramatic examples of political humor, sarcasm, and satire.

So, yeah liberal liar and hypocrite, nice try as you say. Nothing new in your continual lying drool.

You still do not address any of my arguments and points as you know full well you are unable to address them or refute them. So, like the liar and liberal you are, you misdirect, lie, repeat the lies, and falsely accuse. You got nothing else.

I always know when I am spot on and on to something that makes you nervous, as truth always does, redboy, because you show up like a bad stink.

DRed| 3.6.12 @ 9:14PM

I'm sorry, Simon, you had an argument? Aside from whining about how mean the liberals were to poor Rushbo? What was it-I'll give you an answer if you'd like.

I've read the transcripts on Rush's site. He admits he called Ms. Fluke a slut. (RUSH: Well, what did I say? I said, "If we're paying for this, it makes these women sluts, prostitutes." And what else could it be? If we are buying it.) He spends 3 days talking about how much sex Fluke is having, despite her never mentioning sex in her statement. How does Rush know? Oh, it's satire, right? Bullshit. If this is about religious liberty, or about big government, why is Rush talking about the sex life of a woman he knows nothing about? He's trying to humiliate her. You know it, I know it. You said she deserved to be called a slut yourself. Don't tell me you're a satirist now too.

Larry| 3.7.12 @ 5:09AM

Since you really don't bother to listen to Rush, it would be quite hard for you to understand any context that is there. While I have my own views on what constitutes good or bad satire, this WAS satire in its highest form. Sarcasm, as well. Perhaps it was too strong a sarcasm and satire for weak-minded fools like yourself, but it really wasn't.

"He's trying to humiliate her." Fluke did a pretty good job herself of humiliation. For her to have said some of the really dumb things she said, that would be humiliating. For that reason alone, I don't think Rush should have apologized. Go stick it where the sun doesn't shine. Troll, begone!

I can truly say that....Andrew Breitbart is here

Gotta love Georgetown University: Home of the IHS Shroud! Let's go Hoyas! Let's go Whore-o's!

Alex| 3.6.12 @ 9:15PM

so we justify Rush's stupidity by pointing to the stupidity of others? Great. So, when your kid says he got drunk and broke something "because everyone else was doing it", remember your sentiment about Rush.

What he should have said was that Ms Fluke is a moocher, another entitled liberal who wants someone else to subsidize her choices. This is a law student going to a school run by Jesuits and is apparently unaware who the Jesuits are, meaning her law degree will be useless outside of govt.

Free speech means you can say it; it does not carry a corresponding requirement that others listen to it or agree with it.

Larry| 3.7.12 @ 5:18AM

Alex, the reaction from the Left and the media (or I repeat myself) goes far beyond disagreement. The Left is trying to throw him off the air. He does not deserve to be thrown off the air if in fact others like Ed Schulz are still on the air. That is the point of the argument, and it is a waste of time to lecture us like a teenager when you are incapable of understanding the arguments being made.

Further, there is a rather misleading attempt to portrait the man in a light that says his ratings are in trouble, he is still in trouble, etc. That couldn't be farther from the truth.

Further, I don't think what he did was "stupid." It may have been in bad taste, but I'm not even sure I agree with you on that. He did apologize, and you do not seem to take that into account. In fact, Rush did say that she was a mooch; but you seem to focus in on the words "slut" and "prostitute" without really listening to what else he said.

If you want to not listen or not agree, that's fine with me. But it misses the larger point about who attempts to control the terms of the political debate in this country and why we get off on the rabbit trails like we do.

Reading this article has renewed my faith in the possibility that, we the people, can take back our nation. One question I have is whether they had an autopsy done on Mr. Breitbart? I really don't trust the Obama administration, as you can tell. Again, I thank Mr. Lord for this insightful article. I am hoping that what Mr. Breitbart stood for will propel all of us to do the right thing. The liberals have made this into a war, and our Constitution tells us that it is our obligation as citizens to right the wrongs that have been done to our great country. As one famous American said, "When the government fears the people, you have liberty. When the people fear the government, you have tyranny." That is what the liberal agenda is about - CONTROL!
