Hillary’s Surreal State Department
She discovers a new global right.
Hillary Clinton was once seen as a radical busybody, clamoring for this or that absurd invented right, such as the right of children to sue their parents. Now she is seen as a safe establishment figure. But the truth is that she hasn’t changed. She is still a radical scold. Back in the days of the Clinton presidency she pushed the world to embrace an international right to abortion. These days her ambition is to impose upon all the nations of the earth “LGBT” rights.
Bill Clinton’s State Department was famous for its Christmas trees adorned with condoms as ornaments. Hillary’s State Department is even more radical; it seeks to turn the world into San Francisco.
In an address earlier this week in Geneva, Hillary announced that the imposition of the gay agenda on foreign governments now forms “a priority of our foreign policy.” It is not enough for the Obama administration to corrupt America; it has to corrupt the whole world too. Hillary has instructed diplomats to stir up trouble abroad as de facto gay rights activists.
“In our embassies, our diplomats are raising concerns about specific cases and laws, and working with a range of partners to strengthen human rights protections for all,” she said. “In Washington, we have created a task force at the State Department to support and coordinate this work. And in the coming months, we will provide every embassy with a toolkit to help improve their efforts. And we have created a program that offers emergency support to defenders of human rights for LGBT people.”
The American taxpayer will also have to pay for a gay rights propaganda fund Hillary has set up: “I am also pleased to announce that we are launching a new Global Equality Fund that will support the work of civil society organizations working on these issues around the world. This fund will help them record facts so they can target their advocacy, learn how to use the law as a tool, manage their budgets, train their staffs, and forge partnerships with women’s organizations and other human rights groups. We have committed more than $3 million to start this fund, and we have hope that others will join us in supporting it.”
Thus will the State Department make the world safe for sex-change operations and gay marriage. In laying out the case for inalienable “LGBT” rights that transcend and therefore bind all governments, Hillary made no mention of God as the source of rights. She cryptically said that governments don’t grant rights, but she didn’t specify their origin, sensing that it was best to leave God out of it. Where, then, do these “LGBT” rights come from? They come from the same place where she discovered an international right to abortion, namely, her own will. For Hillary the source of rights is not God but the superior wisdom of an international elite whose members see themselves as gods.
An administration that came to power calling George W. Bush a bully who sought to impose Western ideology on foreign countries feels entitled to behave imperialistically on this issue. What is Hillary’s campaign but an attempt to bully non-Western countries into accepting Western ways? In her Geneva remarks, she singled out countries that see homosexuality as sinful for a browbeating. She scolded them for regarding it as a “Western phenomenon”:
The second issue is a question of whether homosexuality arises from a particular part of the world. Some seem to believe it is a Western phenomenon, and therefore people outside the West have grounds to reject it. Well, in reality, gay people are born into and belong to every society in the world. They are all ages, all races, all faiths; they are doctors and teachers, farmers and bankers, soldiers and athletes; and whether we know it, or whether we acknowledge it, they are our family, our friends, and our neighbors.
Being gay is not a Western invention; it is a human reality. And protecting the human rights of all people, gay or straight, is not something that only Western governments do…
Hillary made no mention of the fact that Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia throw homosexuals into jail. How her campaign will square with Obama’s warm and harmonious relationship with the Islamic world isn’t clear. He prides himself on saying that America is not and never will be at “war with Islam.” That may change if Hillary is serious about her crusade. The scars on her back from the 1994 UN conference at Cairo, where she touted an international right to abortion, have apparently healed and she is ready to push bogus new ones.

I think medically you are quite wrong. Vaginas have medically beneficial bacteria that limit the impact of external pathogens. Anal intercourse is full of medical risks. Actually, only rich, powerful, Patrician men had boys on the side. Anyone else caught doing such a thing was severely punished. Roman Virtues and Laws forbade homosexuality, but Patrician men had their boys (Julius Caesar had been just such a boy up to age 14 +/-) as an expression to themselves that social morals and specifically Laws, did not apply to THEM! As rich, powerful Patricians and Senators, they were above the petty morals of the Plebian class. Homosexuality in these cases was simply an exercise in power and vanity, not a sexual orientation. So, you assertion that homosexuality was not forbidden socially until the Victorian era is absurd. Plus homosexual taboos date to Biblical times, and Sodom and Gomorrah were burned by God long before Levitical Law was written. The Bible is not a "ship" and it has not "sailed." And your misquoting it hardly supports your position.

You're an idiot. Quite often twins show that if one is gay, the other is too. There is a mountain of evidence that points to, not a proof yet, but points to the fact that there is a genetic link for homosexuality. Moreover, homosexuality runs in families, another linkage to genetics evidence.
Think about it - have you "decided" to be heterosexual? Could you "change" whenever you like? The thought that anyone would choose to be gay, the last great group of people that it has been okay to ridicule, spit on, and portray as subhuman, is completely ignorant and ridiculous. Why would anyone choose to be gay? In fact, studies show that most gay people knew they were "different" as children and then understood more when they became adolescents. They may try to fit into the "straight" world, but that's why so many young gays commit suicide - they can't do it, and have been made feel ashamed of who they are, or are bullied at school.

Marriage in this context is an institution established by the state for the benefit of the state. It is in the state's best interest to see to assist parent in raising their children who will ultimately become tax-paying citizens. One of the ways in which the state assists child rearing is through the state ordained institution of marriage.
Remember, marriage is available, not just to Christians, but Jews, Hindus, Budhists, Moslems, Mormans, etc., including atheists - there is no religious requirement. After having visited for a few hours we all hugged and they left. My neighbors are aware of my Christian beliefs and they think I am a wonderful kind and generous man. They feel safe with me.
I pointed this out because I would never invite you into my home. I would never share tea or cookies with you. I would never subject my wife to you or my grandchildren, one of whom we were baby sitting. It has nothing to do with your being a "faggot" which you believe all Christians refer to you as. So basically the State Dept. is around to protect the interests of Americans overseas by both working with foreign governments and assisting citizens who work, travel, or live abroad. This is straightforward and sensible, a role even conservatives believe the government should undertake.
Clinton's "strategy" (if one could call it that) for defending "LBGT" "rights" is erroneous on 3 levels.
1) It isn't the job of the Dept. of State to protect foreigners. If *Americans* were being arrested and tortured for homosexuality, the State Dept. should intervene on their behalf, but do so in a way that respects the soveignty of other nations. The State Dept. would be better off assisting Americans who are sexually deviant by educating those who travel abroad about the differences in legal customs (although I'm sure they do this).
2) Homosexuality is a high form of social deviancy. Higher rates of suicide, drug usage, and overall decline of morality is highly correlated with this behavior. Furthermore, no one is "gay" in the sense Clinton would argue. While people may have biological proclivities toward abnormal attractions, this doesn't affect behavior. Some people are more prone to violence due to high levels of testerone yet we don't condone assault and murder as "natural" do we?
3) It is counterproductive. Even if homosexuality were morally acceptable and in the interest of the US, it would take military intervention and hypnotic powers to convince other cultures to embrace the practice. As history has shown, moral progress cannot come from the top down, but must be developed and nurtured by ordinary civilians free to choose. This comes from a change in heart (which itself comes from the Holy Spirit), not government mandates instituted by our overlords in the Fed. Govt.

That is a very good position any libertarian can get behind. Considering what "make the world safe" means in this case, any good Christian has to stand behind it.

Where do any rights come from. From God? How about those who believe in natural law, but not God. Do you claim the right to force your own "Sharia" on them?
Where does your right to establish a morals police come from? Even the Catholic Church will tell you executing people for their sexual orientation, as some African countries are moving to do, and some American so called Christian pastors are advocating. That's what "making the world safe" means, after all.

Saudi Arabia is the source of pretty much all the terror against this country. Saudi Arabia beheads women for extra-marital sex. Saudi Arabia is the nation that gains most from our war in Iraq and if we invade Iran.
So, yeah, invade Saudi Arabia. If any nation deserves it they do. The 9-11 attacks were by Saudis, Al Qaeda is Saudi in origin and still financed out of Saudi Arabia. The Taliban was the result of Saudi radicalization of Afghan Muslims through the Saudi financed Madrassas built there. The same goes for Pakistan. There is little anti-American terror in Pakistan that does not derive from Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia throws LGBTs in jail for the same reason they behead women, and commit terror against the world. They believe they are the morals police of the world. You should look into that, you might fit in pretty well.
