Obama Catches Barking Dog Syndrome

Democrats turn on president in classic symptom warning.

The New York Times story quoting Congressman DeFazio’s snaps at the presidential heels should be read less as a news story and more as a fateful, historically telling political diagnosis.

There is news out there for liberals, and they are uncomfortably aware of it.

President Obama has contracted a fatal case of Barking Dog Syndrome.

And the barking gets louder by the day.

The situation is really simple. Obama came to power with an unrivelled store of good-will from all parts of the political spectrum. He has proved himself the worst president ever, without a single exception. Some previous presidents made mistakes, were non-entities, or failed in various ways. Possibly some were crooks. None, however, has previously brought the US to the edge of literal collapse and disaster. Few, if any, have had their patriotism seriously questioned before now. Few, if any, presidencies have been so utterly devoid of any positive achievements whatsoever. (Even Carter deserves some credit for raising the question of human rights in the Communist Bloc). No previous president has attacked the idea American exceptionalism or flirted with America's sworn enemies. None but an idiot or traitor would adopt exactly the wrong economic policy, not once but over and over again (Einstein's definition of stupidity). None have betrayed so many allies or so weakened national security. Supporting him is supporting a toxin.

Mimi| 9.13.11 @ 7:44AM

KEVIN.... A great response POST. You hit the NAIL perfectly!

PolishKnight| 9.13.11 @ 10:24AM

Kevin, don't mistake an orgasm of white guilt and leftist racism combined with weak support for a leftist Republican opposition candidate with "political good will".

Obama is an affirmative action president.

Put aside the charges of inexperience either in the business or political world (sometimes the latter is an asset) and look at this from the point of view of him being carried to the white house by a series of fortunate accidents. Even as the left claims that GW was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, and there is some truth to this claim, Obama was carried by leftist dogma his whole life, beginning at birth, and dropped into the oval office. Then, he had to hit the ground running.

Let's look at healthcare. He got is passed but with all the democrat majorities along with a friendly media, FDR on lifesupport could have gotten the job done. He squeaked it through barely via a series of kickbacks and compromises that makes the legislature into an albatross. Rather than a tool to add voters (such as FDR's and Bismark's social security plans), Obamacare will hurt the Democrats for years to come.

Even worse for Obama, he fails to realize how he was used. Most purple state white leftists that voted for him and gushed with love during the inauguration weren't celebrating Obama but their own alleviation of white guilt. They did it! They put a (half) black man into the white house. Now can they stop hating themselves? White leftists remind me of self-flaggelating monks. Instead of an ideology of hope for some utopian Swedish future, they live an existence of self-hatred that binds them to their ideology via projecting it outwards. They are terrified of seeing their ideology fulfilled because they know it's not Sweden they'll get, but rather Detroit.

When blacks and hispanics voted overwhelmingly democrat, it could be dismissed by the media as these groups simply having an ideological alliance with the party. Now, when they vote for Obama it's revealed as leftist racism all along. They thought, and still foolishly think, that Obama's "spread the wealth" means taking from the whites to give to them. Imagine the universe THOSE people live in as they don't see their lives improve even as they show up at the polls year after year. Welcome to the feelings I had when I held my nose and voted for McCain, guys!

In regards to this article, the leftist media is still covering for Obama but one can smell the distaste in their mouths as they try to cheerlead bad policies such as the latest stimulus (just right after he agreed to try to reduce spending.) It's like the left is being forced to cheer for a losing team. That is one thing they HATE to do. They don't mind seeing the country go to hell but they do mind cheering for losers. Winning the political game is all they live for.

In closing, Obama's life isn't really all that bad. I'd trade places with him even now. Being a president, even a failing one, is being a part of grand American history. He's going to collect on kickbacks for him and his children for generations to come. But that's from my point of view as an average schmoe. He's sitting in the white house and coming to realize that he's at the bottom of the barrel in his group. His loss will be, as the author points out, historic and the punctuation mark to his presidency. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't such an amoral, racist political douchebag.

russel| 9.13.11 @ 2:17PM

PK , thanks for spending the time and it's well put . I'd merely like to add that this fiasco Token pres. has the potential of really damaging the propaganda arm of the Socialist Progressive party . To permanantly shrink and irrelevantize the MSM would almost be worth all our pain and suffering .

PolishKnight| 9.13.11 @ 3:00PM

Thanks russel. It's useful to remember that most Democrats really don't need propaganda to continue pulling the lever. They're bound by self-interest either as unwed mothers, racial entitlements, or via a homosexual lifestyle and, of course, unionized government workers. (It's hard to say which of these groups are the worst!) They've all got their hands out for a goodie grab and project their selfishness upon their "rich" opponents even as they jeer at red staters as a bunch of trailer parkers.

The remaining group, the old fashioned white male marxist elite liberals who live in Jersey or near Boston and like to think that they're smart and their farts smell like fine wine and they're helping create Sweden II still do listen to the mainstream media and they're the ones being served by it. It's kind of funny though since having drunk the cool aid and not wanting to admit that they've been fools all their years rather than geniuses, they needn't bother watching the propaganda. Nonetheless, many of them wander away from the true faith or just die off like a sort of dying celibate priesthood (one such friend of mine is in his 40's and his liberal girlfriend doesn't want kids and he lives in a cheap apartment.)

In other words, Obama's inauguration is a truly historic moment where the left transformed from a party of Western European Marxists to a Latin-Third world model of cronyism.

The days of the European leftists pulling the strings and using non-whites as cheap votes are over. Think about it... it will be fun to see who the Dems put up as their next candidate after Obama. Can it be a typical blueblood crony such as Biden, Gore, or Kerry? And how do they put up another Obama after he busts? And the way they threw Hillary under the bus, it will be fascinating to see if they try to put up a feminist candidate.

russel| 9.13.11 @ 5:02PM

Well PK , I surely can't argue with your fact or logic . But I gotta say that the thot of little kids being indoctrinated by a socialist b***h teacher pisses me as much as watching the crew of the Enterprise turned into zombies . Or "Fair and Balanced " Lisa Brady , Fox News Radio , with her slant . As far as they're concerned , some dope college kid will tune in and absorb . Every little bit helps . But mostly , yes . the panhandlers and those on the dole should not be allowed to vote .

PolishKnight| 9.13.11 @ 5:19PM

We were all snot nosed little brats at one time, russel. It didn't take me long to wise up when I saw the logic didn't work out and how I was treated for simply asking them to clarify it. When someone engages in sophistry, my ears perk up. I suppose I was more rebellious because I didn't feel any significant fear of being labeled an outcast. I didn't crave acceptance of my peer group.

In other words, leftism is kind of like smoking. They try to hook 'em young and within their peer group. When I have kids, I can assure you I'm going to be VERY watchful of who they hang out with!

russel| 9.13.11 @ 7:36PM

I'm tired PK , but it'd be interesting talking with you more . You say WHEN you have kids , so I must've given you quite some years in advance . I was in college and voted for Carter . There wasn't " peer pressure " on campus , one was indocrinated by professors who had life-long tenure and chose their curriculum . Now if you want to travel back to Nam and the campus protests , that's for another day . It took me some time of simply not being around any alphabet media before the computer came about , and the new uncensored / unbiased , if you will , media . As for kids today , I wish times were simple like they used to be . Adults just left us alone to be kids .

PolishKnight| 9.15.11 @ 1:59PM

Oops, I meant to say "WHOM they hang out with!" Doh! I suppose I've made worse grammar errors here though.

Sadly, I didn't marry until later in life and we're getting started on starting a family now. My first vote was for Reagan, 2nd term, you can use that as you will to guess my age. :-)

I felt the pressure to be a leftist because, sadly, many successful people with contacts in government and industry were and are. There are diversity lectures and HR administrators routinely and openly saying that they're administering quotas in favor of non-whites and non-males. As you know, the legal departments of these companies and universities will then claim otherwise when they go in front of the SC and the wise Latina.

For young men who want to make something of their lives, they know better than to shoot off their mouth and be accused of being "racists". One leftist told me that he was surprised I had a nice job since he said that they made sure that "racists" didn't get hired at his company and/or government office and they are largely intertwined at this point.

This is like the former Soviet Union.

paulette012 | 9.19.11 @ 3:02AM

Is there anything to the rumor that all the immigrants are bought in to vote for O?

David C| 9.13.11 @ 10:32AM

The real benefit of Carter was Reagan and the fall of the Democrat that was in control since the Great Depression.

The real benefit of Obama is the total destruction of the Democrat party. The NY and CA Democrat will implode with no federal bailout of their fiscal bender.

Law of unintended consequences. Look how we whine about the Chinese now that they are "Capitalists". Would you rather they remained Communists? Capitalism will surely rock China to it's core down the road.

I remember when the Japanese miracle and when just-in-time inventory was taught in business schools and we were doomed to be in their shadow. They were so smart we could not compete with them….

PolishKnight| 9.13.11 @ 12:38PM

David, did you notice that most of Obama's "job" money was going to go to "state" bailouts? Namely, CA and NY. They're calling him on the phone and screaming "Help! We're broke! New Cuba is falling!" and his pockets are empty.

Even if he went over the 300 billion, that's now pocket change for them. Their unions blow that in a month.

I'm reminded of the film "The Battle of the Bulge" where the allies lure the Germans into a gasoline expensive battle and then blow up their fuel reserves. That'll show 'em! And it did. Obama took the bait and blew his wad. Now he's got to figure out how to truly manage and he can't.

Alan Brooks| 9.13.11 @ 3:21PM

If the economy stays flatlined, Obama will lose. But the odds are the GOP will elect another NixonBushDoleMcCain*

*Ford doesn't count.

David C| 9.13.11 @ 3:53PM

The final nail in the coffin for the current Democrat reign is Obama. Obama/Carter ushered in a generation of power for Republicans and conservatives. Rush, talk radio, AS, Drudge, Fox, etc.. Fueled by the Democrat’s hatred of America and Americans and embodied in Carter/Obama ideology.

Obama and Carter will be viewed historically as the two main sources of Republican/conservative power over the period from 1980 to 2030. The Democrat has struck fear in the USA as to how radical and hostile to America they become.

They despise Israel, we cannot say radical Islam (it is religious extremist), they are hostile to business, they are hostile to the middle class, hostile to white people, why not let the Arab world go Sharia it is the Arab Spring! (no rights to women, murder Christians), hostile to states rights, hostile to small business.

People get it, they now have the internet which as of yet has not been censored. You and I have debated before the future of Democrats and Obama and history is unfolding. Hope you continue on this site.

You will say Republicans are just as bad. That is another topic but the trend is clear, The Democrat downward spiral… 2010 was just the beginning of the end.

Alan Brooks| 9.13.11 @ 5:14PM

Ford doesn't count because he wasn't elected to the Executive Branch, and he was president, as JFK, for less than 3 years.

Alan Brooks| 9.13.11 @ 5:18PM

"Fueled by the Democrat’s hatred of America"

But don't forget it was Southern Dems hatred of Lincoln, a Republican, which started America's largest war; that is water under the bridge yet so is Carter after 3 decades-- a gereration.

Alan Brooks| 9.13.11 @ 5:19PM

a geNeration. A geReration is old folks getting in the way.
OLD AND IN THE WAY.

Quartermaster| 9.13.11 @ 5:33PM

I would not overestimate the good sense of the US electorate. They put this clown into office, and they just might keep him there. There is a first time for everything.

I notice that Lord decided to pick on an easier target than Ron Paul this time out. He doesn't even have to smear Obama as he does a very good job of smearing himself.

Darin| 9.13.11 @ 7:02AM

While true, never underestimate Chicago politics. When dead people turn out in droves, union members vote multiple times, absentee military ballots are discarded, and so forth, Democrats often win.

Mimi| 9.13.11 @ 7:49AM

Darin....I don't think their gonna DARE this time around....The PATRIOTS will be out in droves protecting our NATION....This election is serious!

Bill Diebold| 9.13.11 @ 10:33AM

Mimi,
Iwould like to think dimocraps wouldn't dare...
but they have proven beyond a doubt they are entirely without morals, principals and common sense. Unless they're monitored like the pack of rabid junkyard dogs they are they will steal anything including this election...

Darin| 9.13.11 @ 10:43AM

Why wouldn't they? The Justice Department gave a pass to the blatant voter discrimination by the New Black Panthers. Military absentee ballots were thrown out in the infamous Bush-Gore Florida contest. ACORN is under so many investigations for vote fraud it's not even funny.

To Democrats, the ends justifies the means. And when the desired end is to have a Democrat in office, "by any means necessary" becomes the rallying cry. And the media will continue to support this in shameless lockstep.

Al Adab| 9.13.11 @ 1:14PM

The Nevada election theft will be repeated on a national scale. The entire entitlement industry will be out in force to protect their claim to other people's money. Fear it and beware.

KennesawJack| 9.13.11 @ 4:12PM

Is there anyone who seriously doubts the ballot boxes are being in stuffed in the special election for Weiner's vacated seat? In 2012 Chicago, Philly, LA, Detroit, etc., etc., etc. will have "voter" turnout manufactured by the Acorn crowd and their ilk skewed completely to Obamarx. 2012 may well turn out to be the most rigged election in history but even that will not be enough to keep this blithering fool in office.

irish19| 9.14.11 @ 1:58AM

The dem lost that seat-convincingly so and outside the margin of fraud (5%). They might try to steal it, but I think that zero will be so unpopular that they won't be able to-at least I hope so.

Alice Moore| 9.13.11 @ 8:28AM

Darin, this might be true if the 2012 Election were to be a close one; say 52-48 at the maximum.

When there is a landslide shellacking in the offing all the King's Horses and and all the King's Men will not be able to put our present day Humpty Dumpty together again.

Things can change in the next 14 months. There could be demonstrable economic improvement in the US. This is the only thing that would help the current occupant.

Al Adab| 9.13.11 @ 1:39PM

It's all about electoral vote. Fla and Ohio decide it. The entitlement industry will stop at nothing to defend their interests. ACORN, SEIU and AARP will organize along with the unions. Nevada will be repeated on a national sclae.

KennesawJack| 9.13.11 @ 4:19PM

Al, I honestly don't think it will be that close. Obamarx loses Florida, Ohio,North Carolina, Virginia, and probably Wisconsin in addition to the real possibility of Michigan and New Jersey. I posted earlier, and I say again, this will be the most rigged election in history but it won't be enough. Obamarx is a disaster for the country and even the MSM is coming around to that understanding. Well, most of them, anyway. I doubt if Matthews, Williams, Schieffer, or Couric will ever get off their knees.

Al Adab| 9.13.11 @ 6:43PM

Jack:
I certainly hope you are correct, but I fear to opposite. Look at Nevada, they will stop at nothing.

irish19| 9.14.11 @ 2:00AM

They lost the special election there as well. We absolutely need to be especially vigilant, but I'm starting to lean towards KenesawJack's view. Assuming, of course that there is an election. Hope for change, but keep your powder dry.

Appleby| 9.13.11 @ 7:17AM

It will be interesting to see if any of the hidden details of Obamas background come out once he is out of favour and out of office. It will be even more interesting to find out who knew and when.

Stammon| 9.13.11 @ 8:06AM

Well this is already out and the MSM refuses to pay attention. Go to Whitehouse.gov and download Obama's new Birth Certificate as a PDF file. Enlarge the stamped serial number in the upper right hand corner. See that it has 6 numbers in grey scale and the last number is a binary image. That means it is a crude forgery. A crude forgery put out by the Obama White House. Go figure.

Darin| 9.13.11 @ 10:46AM

Worldnetdaily has a comparison of Obama's forged birth certificate with an actual one from Hawaii at the time period. There's also an interesting piece on how Obama's social security number registers as a fraud alert. Some may not agree, but to date I have seen no valid explanation or refutation of the presented facts.

Stammon| 9.13.11 @ 1:05PM

There is no explanation. His new BC is on the White House web site and is an obvious crude forgery. When faced with this the libs I know simply refuse to recognize it. They cannot maintain their illusions in the face of this so they don't; they turn away.
I love them, their self delusion is now so apparent that everyone can see it. On to 2012.

Mike D.| 9.13.11 @ 4:25PM

Jeff....This is a good article....It is a subject that well deserves to be discussed.... WILL OBAMA HOLD FAST TO HIS ULTRA-LIBERAL IDEOLOGY ?
Nothing he seems to say or do is washing the dirt away....He stubbornly tries to lead a nation with only20% agreement (liberal) for the rest of the 80%( not liberal) and is adament and STUBORN about his way or the highway! He seems BLIND to the suffering he has caused.
We desparately need a ....RESIGNATION here!!!

Dan Hirsch| 9.13.11 @ 9:09AM

Look at anyone in trouble, in way over their heads-they always cling more tightly to their core beliefs.

Bill Clinton didn't, because either he didn't think he was in trouble, or he wasn't in that far over his head, or maybe he was a helluva lot smarter than the current placeholder in office...I don't often say nice things about Bill Clinton, but I might have had to because BHO is so bad...

Clinton was in it for the free beer and tail. He had to be pragmatic so he could get re-elected and keep on getting the free beer and tail. He was the definition of what Heinlein called a business politician.

Darin| 9.13.11 @ 10:48AM

Obama likely doesn't know how to behave otherwise. He has no experience and has always been surrounded by people who tell him how great he is. Remember how he was "unaware" of the huge rally in DC shortly before the 2010 midterms? There is none so blind as one who will not see.

Melvin| 9.13.11 @ 7:53AM

Obama's administration is Leftist Ideology intertwined with Chicago Corruption.
Most of us are not, but many will be surprised that when Barrack and his Chicago Cronies leave town, there won't be a government pen to be found, staples for the staplers will be sold for scrap, and they won't even bother with locking the vaults at the treasury, because the shelves will be bare and it won't be worth locking.
Besides the new owners will probably want to change the characters on the safe to Chinese anyway.

I wonder how many of the Useful Idiots, the Dreamers, the Independents and the Moderates, thought he was talking to THEM?
He was not.
He was talking to Van Jones. He was talking to The Black Panthers. He was talking to ACORN, SEIU, Richard Trumpka and James Hoffa Jr.
He was talking to Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. He was talking to La Raza, and to HAMAS.
It's Marxist Pedal to the Metal, all the way.
"I would rather be a good one term President, than an inconsequential two termer."

Al Adab| 9.13.11 @ 11:59AM

We can only hope that the Dems will turn on each other like the GOP candidates are doing. After all is said and done however, it is most likely that when faced with the potential of losing power (and for them that is what matters) they will attack with every weapon they possess and rally loyally to their "Leader" who after all, knows best. Never underestimate their ability to put power above principle.

oldfart| 9.13.11 @ 9:49AM

OK confession time. I voted for Obama. Why - McCain obviously did not want the job. He did everything he could to blow the election. I am now part of the barking dogs. He is so far removed from the real world into a world of his own creation he might be labeled as psychotic. Certainly delusional. Now do you want to be the cause of all that?

Al Adab| 9.13.11 @ 6:53PM

The entitlement industry will be in full voice decrying every attempt at fiscal responsibility as "starving the poor". They will encourage (if not organize) their clients to take to the streets in protest and of course, unlike those riotous tea party gatherings, they will justifiably burn buildings to make their case for ever more handouts. It is extortion and the fact that the Leftis talking about it means they have considered doing it. The comments are a veiled threat, nothing more.

It’s never over till it’s over.

Never underestimate your opponent.

Play each down as if the whole game depends on it---it does.

Another old political “trick” is to not interfere with your opponent when he’s self-destructing. Well, I just wonder if Obama might be the exception that proves the rule.

At the presidential level, usually the old 40-40-20 rule applies. Forty percent of the voters will be rock solid members of the two parties, and the always-changing twenty percent on the margin are who decides elections.

At the permeating core, as 2012 approaches, what needs to be kept in mind is that America is existentially threatened by barbarians, both outside and inside the gates, and Obama is their agent of change.

And, about this threat, the vital voters in the 20 percent malleable class (and even some less rabid people in the 40 percent Democratic Party class) are either ignorant or ignore it.

Since advertising PAYS, then, the rightly afraid and AWAKE people need to get the message out, and enlighten the ignorant and force those who are ignoring the problem to stop their head in the sand weak “victim” trip!

Time is short.

Today’s oh-so-painful tale of the wretched situation for Victor Davis Hanson, on his Work and Days blog, is must reading for those who are ignorant and who ignore it!

Everything he has done has been perfect. You just can't see it because you look at it through racist eyes. Besides that it his mistakes are George Bush's fault . sarcasm off!

I hate the white half just as much. Nuff said!

Why did Democrats vote for him in the first place if they didn't like what he was going to do or for the way he is. Nothing has changed. He's done what he said he would and he acts the way he always has. They voted for a slogan.

John,
To The Left it is about power and control not about governance or Liberty of the citizen. They will stop at nothing to retain power. Count the electoral votes. It all comes down to Fla. and Ohio. The unions, ACORN and AARP will work overtime to deliver those.

Sterling Abernathy| 9.13.11 @ 1:11PM

Imagine the media's ridicule if a "white man or woman" had put themselves up for nomination or election with the absolute lack of qualifications as Obuckethead!!! The MSM encouraged Obonehead, greased the skids for him, never uttered a discouraging word and if he were "WHITE" he'd still be in the Illinois State Senate!!!

Affirmative action president is an understatement!!!

Demand Omugabe's immediate resignation!!!

Dear AmSpec:
Can something be done about ActiveX? My security systems will not allow it to run and every page or comment takes about 30 seconds to filter through to where I can bypass the block and view the page. I can't be the only one having problems today.

Obama: You'll realize later what a good job I did!
Obama, please! YOU don't even know what a good job you did. You're weak. You let these scumbag racist, bigoted conservative SOBs smear and lie about you, your policies, your successes, your failures. You let the GOP walk all over you with your pathetic compromise, when those don't want to compromise. You let the right blame you for EVERYTHING wrong with this country. you are losing supporters because of your lame attempt of working with the right, and continuing the war criminal Bush's policies, but these idiots think we are abandoning you because "We've seen the light". Then again, who would vote for crazy, sick people who do nothing but insult your supporters intelligence? No one.
