Barry’s Bullying Failed With Bibi

The community organizer was no match for the special ops vet.

Barry’s Bullying Failed with Bibi

Our community organizer in chief tried his favorite strategy — bullying — on the Israeli Prime Minister last week, and discovered to his evident surprise that veterans of the special operations community are not among those who can be intimidated.

Those of us who wondered how Obama would misuse the political capital gained by killing Osama bin Laden were answered on Thursday when Obama took American Middle East policy in a bizarre and dangerous direction. But before we get to that, we need to set the context of Obama’s actions.

OBL assumed seabed temperature on May 1. One day later, the leader of the terrorist group Hamas’ government in the Gaza Strip, Ismail Haniyeh, condemned what he called the “assassination” of bin Laden and — with due deference to Hamas’ family quarrel with al Qaeda, which Haniya said were mere differences in “opinions and agenda” — he prayed that bin Laden’s soul would rest in peace.

After another two days, Hamas (whose charter requires the destruction of Israel) signed a power-sharing agreement with the Palestinian Authority in the cradle of the “Arab Spring,” Cairo.

Two weeks after that, on the eve of Netanyahu’s arrival, Obama gave a much-ballyhooed speech at the State Department. In it, he rewarded the formation of the Hamas-PA alliance by demanding that Israel make a peace with the Palestinians on which Israel’s borders would be its 1967 borders before it was attacked by the Arab nations, with agreed-upon land swaps. That would require Israel to surrender its capital city — Jerusalem — to Palestinian control and leave its borders indefensible.

Obama’s reasoning — both clearly stated and implicit in his speech — is based on the core anti-Israel doctrine that the Arab states have been propagating since the Jewish state was created in 1948. No American president has so clearly abandoned the Israelis.

First, Obama conceded the principal point of Arab propaganda ever since Israel was founded: that there can be no peace about anything in the Middle East until the Palestinians are established in an independent contiguous state. Though George Bush was the first American president to concede to the need for a “contiguous” Palestinian state — which would require that Israel be cut in two — Obama made it official U.S. policy.

The Arab states — as they have made clear by their actions since 1948 — don’t give a damn how the Palestinians suffer, or how many of them are killed in conflict with Israel.

The Palestinians are merely cannon fodder in the never-ending war the Arab nations wage against Israel. They are not a “people” in the sense that the Russians, Chinese, Romanians or French are, though Obama accepts this Arab premise as a basis for his policy.

The Palestinians are fungible Arabs. About 3.7 million live in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, some 2.5 million live in Jordan, 1.5 million in Syria and Lebanon and about a half million in Saudi Arabia. The Arab nations maintain the Palestinians in perpetual “refugee” status, rejecting the idea that they could be citizens of any Arab nation. Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and others could have absorbed these people quickly and relieved them of the burden of what Obama called “permanent occupation.” But they don’t, because they can — as they have for decades — indoctrinate, arm, and fund the Palestinians’ terrorism against Israel which is of far greater value to the Arab League than any peace would be.

All of those historical facts were the backdrop to Obama’s anti-Israeli speech and his meeting with Netanyahu. The president may have believed that Netanyahu is the leader of a nation that is no more than an American vassal state and would fall prey to his bullying.

Obama likes to bully people while they’re sitting captive in his audience and can’t respond. In the 2010 State of the Union speech, Barry badgered the six Supreme Court justices sitting before him, saying that the Citizens United decision would open the floodgates to foreign corporations’ influencing American elections. Five sat there in shock, though Justice Alito visibly mouthed the words “not true” in response to Obama’s lie. In his April 13 budget speech, with Republican Paul Ryan in the audience, Obama spun a web worthy of Ted Kennedy, accusing Ryan of authoring a budget that would deprive 50 million Americans of health insurance, keep kids from being educated and basically turn our nation into some dog-eat-dog scrapyard in which children and poor people would die of neglect. Ryan, too much the gentleman, didn’t even walk out.

Obama underestimated Netanyahu. The community organizer wasn’t prepared, by education or experience, to properly measure his latest adversary.

Netanyahu is, at his core, a special operations warrior. He is a veteran of the elite Sayeret Matkal, an Israeli army unit much like our Delta Force. Netanyahu has been in combat, including his participation in a 1972 hostage rescue raid on a hijacked Sabena Airlines jet.

Well,it was lots of fun watching Barokeydoke eat that nice big kosher shit sandwich that Cousin Bibi fed him last Friday afternoon...and the boy said,"Thank you sir....may I have another?"

Cosmo| 5.23.11 @ 7:04AM

Barack Hussein can't even defend our own borders, but he wants Israel to give up her borders? Why?

Peter McGrath| 5.23.11 @ 9:54AM

Obama, himself, couldn't answer your question. He's reading off of a script. The question needs to be asked of his script-writers - many of whom, I'm sure, are more sympathetic of Hamas than of Israel.

Jeremiah_Smirking| 5.23.11 @ 7:04AM

I about bust my gut when I read this. Hi-larious!! And glad it made it past the moderators.

Nancy G Murdoch| 5.23.11 @ 9:49AM

Thanks for giving me a gut busting laugh for the day. Perfect!

cowgirl| 5.23.11 @ 10:13AM

Now that is just plain funny.

Gretchen| 5.23.11 @ 6:56PM

Bravo Bibi!!!

stmichrick| 5.25.11 @ 7:58PM

Bibi is a stateman on a par with Churchill and Reagan. The First Community Organizer from the Culture of Complaint was no match.

The Bishop| 5.23.11 @ 6:25AM

The performances witnessed Friday demonstrated the difference between a boy and a man.

Darin| 5.23.11 @ 6:50AM

It's also a clear object lesson to any GOP canidate. Obama is a bully, plain and simple. He engages in Chicago-style thug politics which cannot tolerate the light of day. Call him out. Publically. Repeatedly. Clearly. Be polite about it, but call him out.

Deborah D | 5.23.11 @ 7:55AM

Amen, Darin. You said it.

W| 5.23.11 @ 9:00AM

Don't think Obama is a bully, he more of a sissy only child who always got what he wanted.

Bob Grant| 5.23.11 @ 9:57AM

Read his history. He's been told how "special" he is from his early years as baby obama, through boy obama, through late last week until Prime Minister Netanyahu served him a big plate of reality.

W| 5.23.11 @ 10:46AM

The media, his media, continues to tell him how special he is, sending tingling up the legs of unbiased reporters like matthews, couric, lauer, etc.
Israel has men like Sharon and Bibi. We have boys like clinton and obama.

Cincinnatius| 5.23.11 @ 10:50AM

I only wish more Americans could look at Bibi and see that Obama isn't worthy to be a pimple on a real man's a$$! Then, I wish that Americans would stop looking for American Idol contestants and start looking for LEADERS with courage, principle, and not least, PROVEN EXPERIENCE to serve as our elected officials. Our survival requires it.

florin| 5.23.11 @ 1:08PM

Well said! The look on Obama's half covered face was one of sheer rage - in every instance where he encounters Bibi, he shows contempt - this time, a real man responded honestly and with courage, a real man who holds the defense of his country as top priority, whereas the spoiled baby Obama demeans his country - the USA -every chance he gets. And yet - and yet - the American Jews gave Obama a stand-up, thundering applause when he spoke at their conference - why? Apparently they have as much disdain for Israel as Obama does for the USA - sad.

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 1:50PM

Florin: You wrote: "And yet - and yet - the American Jews gave Obama a stand-up, thundering applause when he spoke at their conference - why?" PLEASE understand that conservative Jews (we represent about 25% of the American Jewish population) DO NOT support Obama. The problem, as Dennis Prager so astutely put it, is that the religion of the majority of American Jews is no longer Judaism, but secular humanism. Look to the conservative Jews (who range from Orthodox to secular - but have traditional, conservative values and who love this country thoroughly) when you want to see an authentic Jewish response. This article was fantastic. The Israelis are at their best when at their toughest. Ironically, Obamalamadingdong has had the bracing effect on the Israelis of reminding them that they live in a dangerous neighborhood and must hang tough because they now have no one to rely on but themselves: as a result the entire population has shifted to the right. G_d truly can fashion good things out of dross. Let us hope many of our own tough, right-minded men of honorable military experience will be running for office in the future. Allen West for President!!

john| 5.23.11 @ 6:55PM

Indeed it's a said day in this country when American idol/Dancing w/the stars are the most watched programs on the Bube tube.

No No bomba kare| 5.23.11 @ 4:04PM

The Obam's life history paralleled that of OJ's experience in USC, everythings was handed to him. Although OJ was definitely talented in matters of football, but what did Obam have? Obam have had great luck being in the right place at the right time of American political history. The bleeding hearts Whites so much wanted to elect an empty suit black man to atone for their guilty feelings. Now we have a man-child Manchurian commie organizer in the White House. God have mery on America.

Ned the Red| 5.23.11 @ 10:44AM

I agree. He was the kid on the play ground constantly tugging on the sleeve of the teacher, getting their attention, so he could rat on someone. The other day he got told to bugger off, go ahead and tell on me.

Peggie| 5.23.11 @ 11:55AM

Well said, Darin

Michael Tomlinson| 5.23.11 @ 6:54AM

Preach it!!

Eddie| 5.24.11 @ 8:59AM

Enough said. Little boys (like Obama) lolly-gag around the world pretending to be a leader not knowing what they're doing. A real leader and man, like Bibi, looks after his people and his country not sell them out like O'ears.

Stormzeye| 5.23.11 @ 6:40AM

The American people will never abandon Israel, in spite of the fact that the Moslem sympathizer currently inhabiting our White House is attempting in yet one more way to bring "fundamental change" where it is unneeded and unwanted.

Peggie| 5.23.11 @ 11:57AM

Amen!

Deborah D | 5.23.11 @ 6:40AM

Truly, the difference between a strong leader who loves his country and is forthright in its defense, and a bully who despises his own country and despises Israel and can't be bothered to defend either -- couldn't have been more prominent and stark when you watch or look at photos of these two men together. If the GOP could find such a leader as Netanyahu we'd be so fortunate. I love the contrast between a special ops guy and an academic. One who does as opposed to one who talks -- perfect, Mr. Babbin.

Ticked Off 2| 5.23.11 @ 8:56AM

"If the GOP could find such a leader as Netanyahu we'd be so fortunate."

Oh, we HAVE such a leader, but all the elitist, suck ups in the GOP will never allow him to go further than where he is.

As a matter of fact, he has already been convinced that he somehow needs to "prove" himself as a capable legislator, political leader and a statesman.

To that I say... BAH!!!

The man, Congressman LTC Allen West, has already proven himself to the American people with 22 years in the greatest Military the world has ever known. The last thing we need at this particular point in our nation's history is another "legislator" or political elitist.

Go to Allen West Nation.com and help draft this man for President in 2012.

Deborah D | 5.23.11 @ 12:57PM

I'm a big fan of LTC West. Talk about someone who loves his country and would "walk through hell with a gasoline can" for his men or his country. Yes, Ticked Off, he is certainly such a man!

Occam's Tool| 5.23.11 @ 5:38PM

I've already signed the petition, and I've got a 1000 dollar check waiting when he announces.

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 2:02PM

Ticked Off 2: I just replied to a great post above and closed with "Allen West for President!!" Scrolled down a bit further in the comments section and saw your own posting. Perhaps we need to start a grassroots movement to encourage Colonel West. My guess is he has gone to ground to get the lay of the land in his new Congressional role. But once he figures it all out, I think we can count on him to go public again. I don't think the Republican establishment is keeping him quiet; I believe he's doing reconnaissance and studying the institutions, players, tactics, etc. of DC. We have surely not heard the last of him. I don't believe he can be co-opted by the RINOs and the Republicrats.

jd| 5.23.11 @ 6:40AM

Can we swap our leaders? I'd love to have Bibi in charge here.

Darin| 5.23.11 @ 6:48AM

As appealing as this might sound, do you REALLY want to do that to Israel? That would destroy Israel faster than what Obama is doing as president of the US.

Michael Tomlinson| 5.23.11 @ 6:55AM

Maybe we could get Egypt to take Obama and Biden while will just take the Speaker of the House until next November.

teejay| 5.23.11 @ 1:57PM

Maybe we can get Hawaii to issue a "Certificate of Live Birth" for Bibi.

Nunya| 5.23.11 @ 2:02PM

Now THAT'S funny! :-)

mzk1| 5.26.11 @ 4:47PM

Please take Bibi!

If you listened, he offered that a Palestinian state could take in the millions of "refugees", where they would sit on Israel's border, ready to invade and murder me and my family.

Of course, the opposition is worse, which is why the government still stands.

Mimi| 5.23.11 @ 6:45AM

Please folks....Take this as a lesson learned. The BOY man has badly represented the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENCY ....His ignorance and incompetence brought this on HIMSELF. We can NEVER elect or send another Boy to do a man's job! Vote responsibly and carefully in 2012!

post*tenebras*lux| 5.23.11 @ 9:03AM

Mimi, remember what Sarah Palin said, "man up" Barry, man up, but I don't think this man child has that capability. He is suffering from adolescent adjustment reaction which is a mental disorder and is on anti-depressants for it.

Mimi| 5.23.11 @ 11:13AM

I don't know much about his past, and what caused the prancing, dancing...ou- owe-eh -ah stuff but as a former ETOH & DRUG nurse : The reason you see delayed emotional maturity and adulthood is the use of these substances. It kills the pain and no strain, no pain, NO GAIN!

Mimi, would you say, and no accountability.

Mimi| 5.23.11 @ 11:45AM

Mimi| 5.23.11 @ 11:45AM

Just sayin!

florin| 5.23.11 @ 1:11PM

Right on Mimi! If Obama has done this much damage to our country in less than 4 years, imagine what he will do if given another 4 years, especially since he will have nothing to lose because would not be able to be elected again.

Appleby| 5.23.11 @ 6:46AM

What a relief to see that there are still world leaders who are MEN, and to see them put little boys in their place with cameras rolling. Its really too bad Obama didnt have a father like mine who had seen the results of Obama type *policies* with his own eyes and could make them real to him.

If he had been sitting in the audience (and been prevented from shouting his objections aloud, which would have been a neat trick), Daddy would have commented to his seatmate, *That boy needs to get out more.* That was his code for, *He needs to associate with people who are not exactly like him.*

It was kind of like watching the first time Grandma slapped the hand of Spoiled Brat Charlie and said sternly, *Stop that!*

Carol| 5.23.11 @ 6:52AM

Obama doesn't speak for the vast majority of Americans.

American stands with Israel. We do not stand with Muslim murderers whom Obama embraces.

Teaghan| 5.23.11 @ 8:16AM

I don't know Carol. The Jewish group barry spouted his lies to on Sunday, gave him a standing O. He told us that we just didn't understand what he meant when he told Israel that they needed to give up their most sacred site.

As an Israel and a religious Jew, I agree.

Occam's Tool: as a politically conservative Jew myself, I am in 100% agreement with you. That's why I watch CBN news and donate to support both campus Chabad chapters AND Pat Robertson's 700 Club. I'm not Christian, but I know that the best and greatest hope for America and for Israel lies in the courage, the consistency and the values of the evangelical Christians. If, in addition, they could convert the Muslim world would this not be an altogether better planet?

Clint| 5.23.11 @ 8:03PM

"AIPAC appreciates President Obama’s speech today at our annual policy conference in which he reaffirmed the importance of the U.S.-Israel relationship and the shared values that define both nations. In particular, we appreciate his statement that the U.S. does not expect Israel to withdraw to the boundaries that existed between Israel and Jordan in 1967 before the Six Day War. We also commend President Obama for his explicit condemnation of Hamas as a terrorist organization and his recognition that Israel cannot be expected to negotiate with a group that denies its fundamental right to exist. We also welcome the president’s reaffirmation of his long-standing commitment to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons."

Wow, Those AIPAC Dudes Really Ripped The Alinskiite Socialist Neo-Chickenhawk Obama A New One.

Guess Which Group Is Gonna Vote For The Deconstructionist Socialist Obama again.

mzk1| 5.26.11 @ 4:51PM

Look, please understand, this is a matter of life and death for me and my family. We can't afford to antagonize the president more than necessary (please note that Bibi was actually quite polite). Political points are fun when your life isn't at atke.

mzk1| 5.26.11 @ 4:49PM

You have to respect those in power, even when they are hurting you. This is what a minority has to do.

P.S. Here in Israel, no one is paying attention to any of this, as far as I can tell.

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 2:35PM

mzk1: I assume you are American Jews living in Israel? As an American Jew living behind enemy lines (i.e. in San Francisco) let me suggest that you DO NOT "have to respect those in power, even when they are hurting you." What you must do is stand up to them and throw them out of office. Thank G_d our Founding Fathers did not believe as you do and meekly submit to the tyranny of British rule when the Crown decided to strip them of the rights of Englishmen. Admittedly, meekness has been a successful survival strategy for the Jewish people over the millenia, during which time most human governance was monarchy or empire, dependant on the favour of the ruling tyrant. But meekness is NOT the most successful strategy when you are fortunate enough to live in a time of constitutional rule of law and representative self-governance. You must step into the ring and fight the bullies, the cowards and the outright purveyors of evil such as our current US President and his minions. BTW, AIPAC is delusional if they believe Barry has a "long-standing commitment to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons." Really? Based on what? Empty words he reads from a teleprompter? That is not a policy and it's not decisive action. I see no evidence of this purported "commitment" to anything but equivocation and snivelling apologies for the US while the murdurous mullahs work assiduously to acquire nuclear weapons. Cowering behind a man who is dedicated to the destruction of his own country is not a survival strategy for anyone but the terrorists and enemies of Western civilization. Please read Alinsky and get to know the nature of the "leader" to whom you are kneeling.

Kenny| 5.23.11 @ 6:55AM

Too bad McCain didn't act like Netanyahu during the 2008 campaign. Instead, 'dead man walking' rolled over, afraid to call B. Hussein Obama out of his association with the raving racist 'Rev.' Wright and other aspects of his sordid past.

BarkyK9| 5.23.11 @ 7:08AM

Agreed...How the Republicans ever gave the nomination to Johnny McAmnesty, who spent his entire career attacking and betraying Republicans, is beyond belief. (Oh, sorry, it's not amnesty, it's a "path to citizenship")

alice moore| 5.23.11 @ 7:52AM

There were many Democrats who crossed party lines to vote for McCain in Republican primaries. This coupled with the GOP establishment deeming it McCain's turn sealed the nomination.

shelby new | 5.23.11 @ 9:22AM

How true. The Repubs handed election on silver platter to silver tongue media darling. Incredible self defeat exercise by the Repubs - not unlike what the Dems did running purple heart Kerry.

Netanyahu is a man that has spent his life in a deadly serious business, and it shows in his actions. Obama is a man who has been sheltered , living in college class rooms, the "community organizer field," and in politics. In other words, out of touch with the real world, never had to work a day in his life. Obama is what you produce when guilt ridden white liberals tell you how brilliant you are your whole life, not a pretty picture.

John Daniel| 5.23.11 @ 7:29AM

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 2:42PM

Allen West, indeed! I second that!!

Ken (Old Texican)| 5.23.11 @ 7:16AM

Yesterday, (Sunday), our president once again lied to us.
Last Thursday, Obama created a fire-storm of negative American opinion regarding Israel. Congenital Liar that he is, yesterday he got his lies mixed up. He again demanded that we not believe our lying eyes…and ears.
So, on Sunday, he said we did not hear what he said last Thursday, but in reality, he simply reversed himself 180 degrees…to keep from having his butt impeached for treason!
As I have written many times, we Texans have a special place in our hearts for Israel. Call it the “Remember the Alamo Complex”. The incredible valor the Israelis have demonstrated over the years, surrounded with hundreds of millions of Islamic murderers, puts to shame the Tim* aka Clint cowards of the world.
See, the Tim* Clint cowards never heard Jesus’ answer to the question: “who is my neighbor?”
As many of you will recall, Jesus answered with the parable of “The good Samaritan”. Your neighbor is someone you can PERSONALLY help after he has been attacked by thugs. Maybe even WHILE he is being attacked by thugs.
The final upshot of Obama’s speech at AIPAC Sunday, was that once again, he proved that he will LIE with no hesitation whatsoever.
Another upshot is that Tim* (banned from TAS), and his reincarnation as Clint…will continue to yell adjectives to conceal his cowardice and self-centeredness. He has no “neighbors”.
Sadly, when the chips go down…Tim*/Clint cowards will find no “good Samaritans” to bail out their scrawny butts.
The Tim*/Clints will be all alone, or they will lie a lot and claim they were with us all along.
They won’t last long. Good people will be able to smell them.
So,
I have written a novel about the next year or two. I don’t claim to be a “Biblical prophet”, but my unique background as CEO in the international development business world, centered around the middle east, gives me a unique insight into the near future.
I can only hope that you will buy and read my novel, for your sake, and for the benefit of everyone on your e-mail lists.

Oldefarte| 5.23.11 @ 2:34PM

I mostly agree with your commentary, except please don't refer to him as 'our president'.....he may be some of yours' president, but he surely ain't [nor ever will be] MINE!!!!!!!!

The Big E| 5.23.11 @ 4:17PM

But Oldefarte, as much as it pains me to say this, he IS our President. He is the man that we as a people gave the reins of power to. No, I did not and will NEVER support him or any of his ilk, but the fact is that he sits in the Oval Office today, in large part, because of the incompetence of the Republican Party in general, the liberal (yes, liberal) domestic policies of George Bush, and the political weakness of John McCain (I say political, but regardless of anything else, I gotta respect the man's military record).

So yes, he is our President. He is just as much representative of OUR greatest screw-up, as he is the left's greatest screw-up. I think we should never, NEVER forget that when we are lax, we open the doors to power to such scum-sucking lowlifes as he.

Excellent piece! The photos of Bibi and Obama posted at Lucianne.com yesterday said EVERYTHING. It was priceless. Though the link is no longer available, the photos were of BiBi Netanyahu and Barry Soetoro in their early twenties . There was the elite Sayeret Matkal special operations warrior. Then there was the punk, relaxing with a cigarette in his hands. The contrast could not be more stark.

Larry| 5.23.11 @ 7:43AM

For starters there is no such thing as an, "Arab Spring," Another one of those insipid catch phrases invented by the media, and picked up by the White House.
Arabs, Syrians, Libyans, Yemenis, and the rest of the peace loving Middle East are merely doing what they have been doing for centuries, and that is killing each other. The blood-lust they share for each other is going to stop because of that jug headed pompous fool who runs his soup cooler because he hasn't nothing better to do. Maybe Barry will learn one day it is better to keep one's mouth shut, that to make one and his Country look like a horses backside by uttering something moronic, and as of late that is something that Barry seems to be excelling in.
Furthermore does anyone know where the smartest woman in the world is? Madame Secretary of the State? Or is she working her part time job as washing machine saleswoman for Africa. "Hey Hillary, I know your about to be anointed washing machine saleswoman of the year, but the Middle East, they're kind of like, really killing each other en mass now, and you might want to do something. And Barry is really, really fowling things up with Israel and Bibbi just biatched slapped Barry."
You know the really simplistic part of this whole Middle East thing is? Inspite of what the really, really smart people say. If the Arabs would leave Israel the hell alone and stop messing with them. That area would really prosper. Israelis don't wake up every morning wanting to strap suicide vest on their kids and send them to blow up Palestinians or Arabs.
The whole screwing with the Israelis every day was brought about by Gamal Abdel Nasser and his silly war of attrition that he set up with the rest of the Arabs to use the Palestinians as Israeli cannon fodder and wear the Israeli's down bit by bit by bit.
"Guess the hell what my Arab friends it isn't working. Israel is still there, and will be till the last Israeli takes his or her breath so give up this silly war you have embarked upon, send those thugs from Hamas and Fatah home and get them real jobs, and just stop messin with Israel and you'll find out how easy it is to get along."

Intelligent Design| 5.23.11 @ 7:45AM

This is a good time to connect a couple of dots. Hamas is the same thing as the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood's self-described mission is to destroy Western civilization, establishing the one and only "true" religion (Islam) to the exclusion of all others. Yet Obama, his "intelligence" people, and the usual suspects in academia say that the MB is a benign, secular organization. The Muslim Brotherhood is actively engaged in subversion in the U.S. via mosques and "charities". The MB plans to gain power in Egypt, aided no doubt by Obama's announcement that the U.S. will forgive $1 billion in Egyptian debt, and give Egypt another $1 billion.

davelnaf| 5.23.11 @ 7:58AM

For Obama to inject his personal feelings about Israel into our nation’s foreign policy says a great deal more about what he thinks about the USA than about Israel. Presidents may tinker with foreign policy a little, but must never risk dramatic changes to it unless it is to declare war against an enemy or bring benefit the USA in some way. In this instance the Bamster’s policy proposal definitely doesn’t help the US. For two years now we’ve seen Obama and his stunningly overinflated ego go way outside the envelope of what presidents can and should do. Many people are probably wondering what else this clown is going to pull.

It’s beginning to feel like were all spectators inside a movie about what a exceptionally bad president might do to the country…and the world. Even the lamestream media must be anxiously wondering what more it will have to do to keep this guy’s poll numbers from tanking completely.

Intelligent Design| 5.23.11 @ 8:31AM

‎"Palestinian" Muslims and their related terrorist organizations have one goal, which is the death of Israel. Obama is supporting their cause by calling for the shrinkage of Israel to its pre-1967 borders. Israel should not give up an inch. Every time it has made concessions, the Muslims have increased their attacks. They have launched thousands of rockets and mortars into Israel, attempting to realize Hitler's goal. The demise of Israel would be a blow to freedom everywhere in the world, for all of us, as if Hitler had won WW II, or as if Islam governed the United States.

JimH| 5.23.11 @ 8:34AM

I want to ask a question of the readers here. Regardless of how you feel personally about Obama and his policies do you feel that it was appropriate for a foreign leader, particularly one quite dependent upon our good will to give such a major public wigging to our president? While I’m not one to support ‘my country right or wrong’ and I have strongly criticized him myself, I still believe that while we may argue among ourselves, it ought to be considered a family dispute with outsiders unwelcome.

Melvin| 5.23.11 @ 8:38AM

Barry, made his own bed, and now let him lie in it.

Appleby| 5.23.11 @ 8:48AM

Yes, I do think it was appropriate. The Jews know that at the end of day they stand alone, and dare not be *dependent on* the good will of others, for the very reason Obama demonstrated to them loudly and clearly.

They have been there. There is a reason they say NEVER AGAIN.

Anthony| 5.23.11 @ 8:53AM

So Jim, the empty suit president tries to bully Bebbe and tells his country to go to hell and Bebbe is supposed to sit there like a timid Republican with his thumb up his butt, is that how you see it?
What good will are you refering to, Obozo just invited all of radical Islam to help itself to tearing Israel to shreds like rabid dogs, and Beebe is supposed to sit there and say, thank you sir, may I have another?
Hell, I wish Bebbe had smacked the crap out of our snarky, cowardly, Muslim Marxist President.

JimH| 5.23.11 @ 8:59AM

Anthony| 5.23.11 @ 9:31AM

Instead of feeling sorry for ourselves because our President has been shown to be the community organizer who has been promoted beyond his level of competence, we have the opportunity to redeem our standing in the international community by electing a real President in 2012. Let's get to work on that instead of trying to shoot the messenger!

The emporer has no clothes!!!

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 6:02PM

Jim is clearly either A PLANT or a political naif. Personally, I think he's a political plant feigning naive "patriotic" concern in order to deflect and divert our support for Netanyahu into criticism for him. Hey Jim, what part of the Founding Father's interest in assuring freedom of speech in the Bill of Rights did you not get? Out here in the belly of the beast (San Francisco) only Leftists paint such ridiculous, narrow, strawman definitions of what a Patriot is. A Patriot is NOT someone who advocates a verbal muzzle or politically correct thought control on dissent. THAT is the modus operendus of the "diverse" and "tolerant" LEFT. You, my friend, walk like a duck, quack like a duck... Rest assured you raise NO DOUBT whatsover, NO second guessing of ourselves for cheering on Netanyahu. The fact that Hitler, or Hamas, or Obama were all democratically elected DOES NOT put them beyond criticism. Your Lefty slip is showing and we are not fooled. I would have stood wildly on the sidelines cheering on Winston Churchill as he tore into Hitler any day had I been around back then. Far from being cowed into silence, we are GRATEFUL that men like Churchill and Netanyahu will "speak truth to power" (you like that expression, don't you Jim....) because the future of Western Civilization would be toast if people did not stand up to destructive forces that would happily annihilate other countries and other peoples. Bibi knows, and we know, that Obama's overt support for Israel's genocidal neighbors and their annihilation agenda MUST be called out. To paraphrase Churchill: A gutless coward is one who appeases a crocodile hoping it will eat him last.

John G.| 5.23.11 @ 8:54AM

Consider this statement: “We don't have a lot of margin for error,” Netanyahu said to the president. “Because, Mr. President, history will not give the Jewish people another chance.”

Conservative View| 5.23.11 @ 8:54AM

Yes Jim, I do, and you gave the answere to your question within your question. The people of Israel are dependent in large measure of American support in conflicts against Arab states. The PM of Israel had the absolute right, and obligation, to address that point, to let the President know in no uncertain terms what his policies would mean to Israel and the entire Mid East. If the President didn't want Americans to hear what the PM of Israel had to say, he should have spoken privately. That he did not says much, or perhaps too much.

Pecos Pete| 5.23.11 @ 8:57AM

Obama sides with the Muslims. He ALWAYS sides with the Muslims, and Islamics have stated ad nauseum their desire that all Jews be dead. They want Israel gone. Period. Well now we know the the world's most famous community organizer and Hamas are 'on the same page'. I don't know if BHO prays for the death of Israel five times a day, but I doubt he would interrupt his golf game for news of a nuke hitting Jerusalem. Bibi eschewed the ridiculous PC 'decorum', as so he should. He was speaking about an existential threat, a constant threat of genocide that Israelis have had to accept as a daily part of thir lives. And he was explaining this matter of utmost seriousness to a decidedly unserious amateur, an anti-semitic, anti-American Affirmative action clown, our own vacationer in chief, shooter of hoops and frequent golfer -Barack Hussein Obama. Mmm, Mmm, Mmm.

JimH,

I would say it depends on who is attacking O'Bama.

If it was Kim Jong Il or Ahmadinejad, I would defend the office of President of the United States. If it was Stephen Harper or Vaclav Klaus, I would probably bash President Dither.

It depends on whether the President is rightly, or wrongly, being criticized. In O'Bama's case, it is extremely hard to wrongly criticize him.

The Big E| 5.23.11 @ 4:32PM

"Regardless of how you feel personally about Obama and his policies do you feel that it was appropriate for a foreign leader, particularly one quite dependent upon our good will to give such a major public wigging to our president?"

Absolutely. Netanyahu's willingness to slap Obama around may be the only thing - the ONLY thing - to prevent a war, possibly even a nuclear war (remember, Israel is a nuclear power), in the region. Frankly, Netanyahu would have been derelict if he DIDN'T humiliate Obama as much as possible.

Occam's Tool| 5.23.11 @ 5:46PM

HSmith| 5.23.11 @ 6:13PM

Obama basically threatened and abandoned Israel by saying what he said last week. Was the Israeli PM supposed to stand there and take it? Obama has made a career of threatening our allies and praising our enemies. Someone needed to stand up and call it like it is. Now if we could only convince the Republicans to stand up too and tell the American people the truth instead of bending over and saying "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

Martine| 5.24.11 @ 2:46AM

Barry told the world out loud that he what he thought about Israel's borders. He got what was coming to him. Who among us thought Netanyahu was going to take that lying down? Not I.

Larry| 5.23.11 @ 8:45AM

Netanyahu was absolutely correct. What would you have had him do? Be silent? Barry is advocating for the destruction of Israel. Netanyahu is that country's Prime Minister. The difference between the two men is plain- one loves his country and wants to live and thrive; the other one hates his country, is an enemy of it and is working overtime to destroy it.

Anthony| 5.23.11 @ 8:46AM

Yep, the only way to deal with a bully is to smack the hell out of him. We need a candidate who will take Obozo to the woodshed and reduce this empty suit to the sniveling POS that he is.
Too bad Bebbe didn't do it for us, but it's not his job, it's ours.

Nunya| 5.23.11 @ 2:29PM

Agreed. Obozo's a bully, and every bully I ever encountered at school was an egotist who inflated their ego by bullying others. Typically a left hook to the mouth would send them home crying, with the net result that they would never bully you again. Mr. Netanyahu gave Obozo a verbal left hook, with similar results.

As to whether or not we should applaud Mr. Netanyahu (per JimH), I say without hesitation: Absolutely. Obozo should know when to STFU, and he doesn't. Like any child, he must be taught a lesson, which Mr. Netanyahu gladly obliged.

Conservative View| 5.23.11 @ 8:48AM

Is the President a raceist?

Let me define raceism. Raceism is when you apply one set of rules to everyone except a small minority. Everyone can sit in the front of the bus except those people over there.

The borders of all nations, including our own, were drawn by violence. England, France, America, China, all fought wars to establish their present borders. This includes Israel. To each nation except Israel the world accepts their borders as drawn by the history of violence. This is called the right of conquest.

Now our President says, rather clearly, that the borders of Israel drawn through three bloody wars don't mean a thing. The right of conquest does not apply to Israel. Remember that the last war Israel fought against collective Arab states was fought against an invading force.

I submit that for the President to so totally reject the right of conquest, to reject the borders of Israel as they were drawn by violence is absolute, unabashed, raw, in your face raceism. I further submit that every US citizen should treat it as such.

Allow me to jump to a second point. The President made it quite clear in his speach. "Every nation has the right to defend itself, and to do that alone." What do those last five words mean to the Arab world? I suspect that they mean just exactly what the President intended them to mean, that if attacked the US will NOT come to the aid of Israel. There could be no greater invitation to further violence in the Mid East than that. The President has made a speach that is far more likely to start another war, than prevent one, and one must wonder if that wasn't exactly his intention.

The fuse to this coming conflagration was lit in 2008, Barry just squirted lighter fluid on it. People....this isn't going to be no six day war or no drawn out nickel and dime war like in Afghanistan. This is going to be the meanest gut bustin war that we have ever seen, and it is going to drag us all into it.
Armageddon, I don't know, could be. This is going to be a war unlike we humans have ever seen. And all those stupid Arabs have to do is just leave Israel the hell alone.

Ned| 5.23.11 @ 11:57AM

The Six Days war was a "six days war" because there wasn't an Arab army then worth the powder to blow them to hell. That has not changed... they may have a few more fancy Chinese missiles to play with, but in the end they are a hopeless mob of goatherders. That's not to say that things will be easy for the Israelis, but don't think for one second that, if pressed hard enough, Israel will hesitate to convert various Mid-Eastern capital cities to large expanses of radioactive glass. And why not do it? Because the rest of the world will talk bad about them? That's already the norm.

Arab "leaders" can't continue to mouth threats indefinitely. One of those nutbags will light the fuse, believing their own puffery and chest thumping. When it happens it will be incredibly brutal, but also amazingly quick. Think "highway of death" out of Kuwait City.

The Big E| 5.23.11 @ 4:41PM

A total war with Israel now, especially after Obama has let it be known that we will NOT come to their defense, may involve people far more potent than the Arabs. I agree that they're no more capable of taking out Israel now than the were in 1967, maybe less so. But with us on the sidelines, who else might jump in? Would eliminating Israel be sufficiently beneficial to Russian interests that they might be willing to take a hand? The Chinese? The reality is that Israel is like an aircraft carrier of freedom in the region. Take it away and our position in the region becomes infinitely weaker, and the positions of Russia and China infinitely stronger.

The Big E| 5.23.11 @ 4:37PM

A nuclear war in the region upon which a substantial part of the world's economy depends for energy? I don't know if that would be Armageddon, technically, but it could an apocalyptic event unlike anything the world has seen in, well, maybe ever.

Mike| 5.23.11 @ 8:59AM

You have accused the posters of being "ass kissers" without offering a single example that the comments made are "more Catholic than the Pope." Perhaps you might have made your point a little more strongly had you attacked the points raised by others, rather than attacking the messengers whom made them.

C Smith| 5.23.11 @ 9:14AM

Do not pretend to know the thoughts and intents of our President's heart, but after his Thursday Mideast outline for "peace," it became painfully obvious that the plan as imposed would facilitate a Post-WW2 genocide. Discounting the ceding the fertile West Bank to Arabs and the Negev to Jews, the abandonment of the Hebron graves of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, and most unthinkable, the "forgetting" of Jerusalem, Obama's proposed Palestinian State would literally cut the heart and soul from Israel, and as Netanyahu more strategically assessed, leave her an "indefensible" "nine mile" corridor.
Obama was not the first president to "befriend" Jews:

"At the French resort of Evian on the shores of Lake Geneva in the summer of 1938, President Roosevelt initiated a nine-day international conference, supposedly to facilitate Jewish immigration from Germany and Austria.

Very important people were here and all the delegates had a nice time. They took pleasure cruises on the lake. They gambled at night at the casino. They took mineral baths and massages…some of them took the excursions to Chamonix to go summer skiing. Some went riding, some played golf. Meetings. Yes, some attended the meetings. But, of course it is difficult to sit indoors hearing speeches when all the pleasures that Evian offers are waiting right outside" (Rene Richier as quoted in Peggy Mann, When the World Passed by on the Other Side, Manchester Guardian Weekly, 7 May 1938).

Here are the recollections of an uninvited delegate, Golda Meir, former Prime Minister of Israel:

"… sitting there in that magnificent hall and listening to the delegates of thirty-two countries rise, each in turn, to explain how much they would have liked to take in substantial numbers of refugees and how unfortunate it was that they were not able to do so, was a terrible experience, I don't think that anyone who didn't live through it can understand what I felt at Evian – a mixture of sorrow, rage, frustration and horror" (As quoted in, The Evian Conference - Hitler's Green Light for Genocide, Annette Shaw, 2001, Quoted by permission of Stephen D. Smith, Director, Beth Shalom, (Letter 15/3/2000), Perspective, Vol. 1, Issue 1, July 1998, "Nobody Wants Them,” p. 21).

"At the end of the nine-day conference, Hitler had his Green Light" (Annette Shaw, The Evian Conference - Hitler's Green Light for Genocide, 2001):

"Nobody wants them' claimed the German newspaper Völkischer Beobachter after the Evian Conference in July 1938 and Hitler gloated, saying, 'It is a shameful spectacle to see how the whole democratic world is oozing sympathy for the poor tormented Jewish people, but remains hard hearted and obdurate when it comes to helping them." (Perspective, Beth Shalom, p. 21).

After Obama's Thursday Mideast outline for "peace," it became painfully obvious that the plan as imposed would give, Fatah, Hamas, and the Arab League a "Green Light for Genocide."

They took pictures of this HORROR....The world saw. We shall never forget. Our defense of ISRAEL is JUST!!!

Yes Mimi we all know what happened during WWII. My father was 1 of those 18 yr old GIs who helped open 1 of those death camps.

I never realized, as I'm sure there are others who also didn't know, that the western countries were overtly complicit in the Holocaust.

I never did like FDR; I now despise him!

Nunya| 5.23.11 @ 5:32PM

The stories that came out of the war describing what was happening before the US got involved were completely ignored or glossed over. People didn't want to believe what was being said, and hid the news on the inside of the paper--what should have been in bold letters on the front. It's sickening.

C Smith| 5.23.11 @ 9:58AM

On Eagles’ Wings

Early Sunday morning, July 4, 1976, before America awoke to her 200th year of independence, the lead Hercules flew low over Eilat, the southern most city of Israel. The crew, returning from a covert and still classified mission, was both apprehensive and amazed to see people in the streets waving and embracing and welcoming them home. Seven days earlier Air France 139, in route from Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport to Paris via Athens, was hijacked in air. Within minutes, Israeli Defense Force (IDF) operatives implemented pre-planned procedures and alerted army units. In Jerusalem, Prime Minister Rabin convened a congruous assortment of defense ministers as the France Airbus flew unexpectedly toward the African continent, eventually landing in Dictator Idi Amin’s Uganda. Shortly after arrival, a list of names was compiled, and as the passengers were separated according to the list “the German word Selektion was muttered around the room - a reminder of Dr. Josef Mengele at Auschwitz choosing those who would live and those who would die” (Maj. Louis Williams, Raid on Entebbe: Entebbe Diary)!

IDF Senior Press Officer Maj. Louis Williams documents the true "mission impossible" that was to follow. He describes the small but elite force of twenty-nine Israeli commandos, a gauntlet of “insurmountable” challenges, and flying into the "heart of Africa" and back again with the logistical precision of seconds. And in the excerpt to follow how even the forces of nature opposed the eventual return of Israel’s children “on eagles’ wings.”

Turning westward, the four Hercules headed into the African continent over Ethiopia. The weather was stormy, forcing the pilots to divert northwards close to the Sudanese frontier…. On the approaches to Lake Victoria, they hit storm clouds towering in a solid mass from ground level to 40,000 feet. There was no time to go around and no way to go above-so they ploughed on through. Conditions were so bad that the cockpit windows were blue with the flashes of static electricity.

The only assault force causality was the young commander of the Hercules squadron Lt. Colonel Jonathan Netanyahu. As his second in command exited the lead Hercules, Rabin and Peres inquired: “How was Yoni killed?” The succinct response: “He went first, he fell first.”

martin j smith| 5.23.11 @ 10:32AM

I was at a social gathering in very Blue metropolitan area in the North east yesterday and overheard a couple of times expressions of dismay about Obama' s statement on Israel. You know, the one about the 1967 borders etc. These were people who not only voted for Obama but in at least one case actually was involved in the campaign. These particular people and their type are what I call knee-jerk liberals--not ideologues.
For apparently intelligent people, they appear to have been fooled and now know it--or seeming to anyway. I wonder what percentage of voters--Jewish or otherwise--who support Israel--will change their minds in 2012. My hunch is this: Many will not vote Republican but they may stay home on 2012. I do hope so. Obama might help--certainly the NYT did by making it clear that Obama said what he meant and vis-versa..

The election of 2012 continues to build up to be a really big REFERENDUM ON OBAMA.

I am also guessing many of the kind of people I have referred to really feel betrayed because that sincerely ( in their eyes ) believed in Obama .

The Republican Party needs a viable candidate who is willing to contest Obama's entire record without exception--polices foreign and domestic.
Regarding foreign policy the question should be asked: Is Obama leading as an American or a European President. I say the last.

Ned| 5.23.11 @ 12:03PM

Please explain how support of our ally Israel is traitorous. I've known many Jews over the years who have, in fact, moved over. The current Israeli ambassador to the U.S., Michael Oren, was born in upstate New York to a father who fought for the U.S. in WWII and Korea.

Melvin| 5.23.11 @ 11:25AM

You guys are truly delusional. Yes, Obama will win the nomination. He has overwhelming support in the Democratic Party. And given the disarray and fractionalization in the GOP, it's little wonder that all polls show Obama handily defeating every likely GOP nominee.

George S| 5.23.11 @ 11:59AM

Should we find it insulting that Netanyahu showed up our president? Heck, now is the right time for a high ranking Republican member of Congress (or potential presidential candidate) to travel to Israel and publicly assure the Israelis that the majority of the America people do not support Obama's position. Before you say 'Logan Act', remember that Nancy Pelosi traveled to Syria and did the same thing in her sit down with al-Assad.

I highly recomend to anyone who hasn't read D'Souza's book to read it. It answers all the questions most people have as to what the hell is going on in Obams's head with the insane decisions he has made.

And now for something completely different:
Who believed that Netanyahu would agree to
pull back to 1967? Obama knew that was
an impossibility. Netanyahu "Just Said No".
So what is Barry going to do now?
So he goes off to Aipac, gets a "warm" reception and assures them everything is just dandy.
Obama's speech and subsequent meeting
with Netanyahu/Aipac was nothing more than
a dog and pony show.
All sides were complicit and now the
news is full of Israel where it was once filled
with Muslim states in revolt.
Very strange, indeed.

The Big E| 5.23.11 @ 4:57PM

"Who believed that Netanyahu would agree to
pull back to 1967? Obama knew that was
an impossibility. "

Actually, that's a hell of an assumption. Any rational, reasonably informed, person with the slightest iota of common sense would know that Israel would not, COULD NOT ever go back to those boarders and survive. But in case you haven't noticed, Obama is not a rational, reasonably informed, person with the slightest iota of common sense. Remember, he's been raised his entire life on the milk of Marxist ideology, and Marxist ideology teaches that Israel is nothing but a lap dog of the US. Based upon his upbringing and point of view, I would be rather surprised if he didn't think that Israel would do EXACTLY as he ordered.

1967 borders? Really? Well, then, while we're at it, let's tell the Brits to give their whole island back to the Celts or the Saxons. France can go back to the Visigoths. Japan can go back to the Ainu. After all, these nations were only expanded AFTER the mean, evil conquerors took them over.

To all my mentally challenged liberal Jewish brothers & sisters, I have a message:

You idiots will be amongst the loudest group wailing & gnashing your teeth when Israel is either turned into a sheet of glass or when her populace is murdered piecemeal by high scale terror campaigns. It will be YOU idiots who stand there & say "we said never again!!!! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!!!" And I wish I could be around to slap the taste out of your mouths when you DO say it. Fortunately, Israel will take all those carpet jockeys with them if it eve comes down to that. And you idiots would probably cry more about THAT than the destruction of Israel itself.

Fast Johnny| 5.23.11 @ 1:03PM

"Though Obama failed to bully Netanyahu, one fact is now established: Israel is alone. "

Israel isn't alone. Myself and, I am sure, plenty of clear thinking Americans understand the need to support the only Western Democracy in that region of the world. We understand the reason why the borders are what they are now and also understand that going the way our 'lecturer-and-chief' want the borders is basically suicide for Israel. It appears that what 'the annointed one' wants is to see Israel disappear. I care little of the ethic makeup of the State of Israel, I care little for the fact that they have kept land they took in the 1967 and 1973 conflicts (they won wars against clear unbridled aggression and those that lost must suck it up). All I care about is that Israel is a free state, not hampered by dictatorships, sharia law or any other oppressive theocracy. It is our duty as the leaders of the free world, to see that Israel remains strong and stays a staunch ally. All I can say is that our present administration speaks for itself, not for the people of this country. Academic fools and about at the level of freshman Sociology 101 type morality. Yeah, I thought that way when I was a freshman in undergrad, liberal and all to willing to think that my vision of the world was good for everyone, but then Igrew up and learned to ride a two-wheeler. The present administrations Socio/moral maturity is about at the level of the tricycle.

I just hope that the citizens of Israel know that the POTUS does not represent his constituants.

As I understand it, being a Jew, unlike any other nationality, is both a religious as well as a secular state of being. And here, as well as in Israel, there is a political dichotomy. Religious Jews will probably not vote for Obama (again) and secular Jews might do anything.

I would think that in America, Jews who have family in Israel would vote one way, against BHO, while those with a mild case of the Jewishness their family heritage has left them with, whether religious or cultural (secular) are not as concerned with saving Israel as they are with saving their status quo.

Conservatives may be found in each category, and they are very interested in helping Israel, at least to the extent that we have always helped Israel. Many Christian Conservatives, of which I am one, would like to see us help Israel more than ever. With this fake Arab Spring, it seems the forces (of the Muslim Brotherhood) are aligning against her, and Israel is making necessary preparations. Sharpening her nukes, so to speak.

I would ask some one, how do we help Israel in the coming months until the Novemberelection? I know we need to choose a canditate who will support Israel, and is electable, but what can we the people actually DO in the face of a President who will not support what we believe is necessary?

I am serious, what is the best we can hope for in this matter in the coming months?

We give Israel and Egypt $12 Billion a year. $12 billion a year of our tax money and we can't say in public what we have been urging them to do in private for 20 years? Does any one on this board ever actually think before agreeing to this Obama hatred spewed on AS?

We give both of them less than $3 billion, each, a year. They have been getting less each year for over a decade now.

What about the Golan Heights? What about right of return? O'Bama conveniently left these out of his incompetent speech.

Do you actually think Obama was showing strength when he parroted words which could lead to Israel's obliteration, given to him by others? Strength is supporting your friends even when it costs.

I don't know about anyone else here but I voted for Bush, don't regret it a bit because Gore and Kerry would have been many many times worse, but I also drew the line at he and Condi telling Bibi or any other Israeli where to draw her borders.

And as to mismanagement in Iraq, that is in the eye of the beholder. There were WMDs, and Sadaam is gone. Could we have done better? Of course, and Bush Daddy should have finished Sadaam off the first time, when Schwartzie and Colin thought better, and we pulled out.

Reagan didn't go to War over Beirut and the Marine barracks. Maybe he should have. They all have made mistakes. However BHO has made nothing BUT mistakes in every area. And had I read TAS during the Bush Admin, I would have complained of Condi and Bushie holding Israel back, or trying to, then.

Now my complaints are louder, because the president is erring more aggregiously than any POTUS that I have seen in my 61 years on earth, 56 of those in America. (Except for Carter, but that's understood).

It's about time someone told him how the cow ate the cabbage. Our gutless wonders in Washington sure won't do it.

British police code name for President Barack Obama for his upcoming visit to the U.K. is "chalaque," mildly offensive Punjabi word for "Smart Alec."

So. Even those Brits know a pansy when they see it! Funny the above doesn't cross the ocean that separates the press in this nation from those who still practice JOURNALISM in the UK.

Imagine if this had been said about BUSH? It would be the lead story.

All of you 0bama sympathizers and supporters are seeing YOUR chickens come home to roost ... and I for one am loving it!

Well written. Some lessons are universal, a bully is stopped when one stands up to him. Hopefully the prospective GOP candidates can take note. And this is one more reason why a guilt ridden white man like Mitch Daniels could not be the nominee. That and his whore of a wife.

As some of us say in the Spec Ops Community, the POTUS "got his bags smoked." Well written, and thanks.

I didn't know being a Palestinian Hater was so Socially Accepted? You know the ONLY way 'Dual Citizenship' should count against you is IF you use it, like most Jews who get in trouble in the US, that is when they aren't being TRAITORS like Pollard, may he ROT FOREVER in jail.(I would have done a R0senburg to him).

Could we do a Rosenburg to you, Kook of the Net?

EccoLa| 5.27.11 @ 6:55PM

Pretty tough to "do a Rosenburg to him" when you don't believe in the death penalty.... Ah, but then I forget the battle cry of the Left: "Consistency is the hobgobblin of little minds!"

Goodness, Berkeley is fielding an entire team here today. LOL!!

What would an American President do about the Middle East if he were a marxist Muslim? Let us consider:
1) He would encourage revolutions led by Islamic jihadis in Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya, Egypt, Yemen, Jordan, Barhain,...
2) He would do nothing about democratic protests in Syria and Iran; why not? Well, Syria already supports the terrorist organization Hezbollah, now in power in Lebanon, and the Iran's mullahs are feverishly producing nuclear bombs to destroy Israel, and in the meantime are arming Hamas; therefore demonstrations in Syria and Iran have no American support.
3) He would approve the consolidation of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank with Hamas; now our State Department has the excuse to delist Hamas from terrorist organizations; then the US can increase the aid to them;
4) He would join the United Nations in accepting the new Palestinian Authority as a member nation of UN;
5) He would set the negotiating starting point as the pre-1967 Israel borders (totally indefensible and in fact the death sentence of Israel state).
Well now - let us think a minute! - what has Abu Hussein al-Nairobi been doing? Or whatever Kenyan hellhole that marxist Muslim was born in?

Curtis Cohn| 5.24.11 @ 7:42PM

How can we all start a no confidence vote and get this bonehead impeached before Iran goes active with nukes. We need a strong commander in chief to shut them up. When Carter was President they abused our captives but, on a split screen TV, I saw our hostages take off when Reagan was sworn in. I am bi-partisan but that kind of strength is what we need. Oh, and we need to kill all TV shows that include the words Idol, Stars and Housewives.

Uhm, If i can slip in a comment. I am acually quite familiar with bibi netinhayu and his style of leadership. if anything, he is the bully. He has had a reputation for lecturing american presidents as if he was their boss, and isnt beyond lying and telling people they are "idiots" to their faces. Obama is much more beurocratic in his working.

Two words in Yiddish sum these two men up:

Mensch - a man who is "true blue", one you can count on.

Shlemiel - a fool, a fumbler, a dolt.

Well, after Darin, Bob Grant and Cincinnatius what other common sensicle comment can be said. What are we doing with a self-appointed egomaniac for a president, what has happened to our leaders

Malka Kideckel| 5.28.11 @ 7:47AM

I couldn't agree more with what EccoLa said: G-d truly can fashion good things out of dross. Let us hope many of our own tough, right-minded men of honorable military experience will be running for office in the future. Allen West for President!!
