The Mexican drug wars have become an old story. Media of all
types have given extensive coverage to the battles between and
among criminal gangs and federal police and military. Nonetheless,
the Obama Administration has continued a policy of avoiding
recognition of the danger of the open warfare that exists
immediately south of the United States border with Mexico.
The federal and state governments of Mexico have reacted
quickly to deny commentary that challenges their commitment to
enforcing law and order in their jurisdictions. From Washington
comes an active effort to counter any claims by local law
enforcement in the Southwest that suggest any increase in
trafficking in narcotics and human smuggling.
After organizing Department of Justice lawyers to bring
the State of Arizona to court over their law attempting to enforce
existing federal statutes on illegal immigration, the Obama White
House has done everything it could to play to the politics of the
Spanish-heritage population in the United States. This has included
downplaying the power wielded by Mara Salvatrucha (MS 13) and the
other Hispanic gangs in major cities throughout the U.S. and their
organization in American prison societies.
The Administration’s unwillingness to deploy major units
of federalized National Guard troops to inhibit illegal border
crossing was first thought to be some form of economy measure
and/or turf conflict with the Department of Homeland Security. It
has turned out, however, to be in response to Mexico’s President
Felipe Calderon’s fear that a heavily armed U.S. border would be
deemed by his political opponents as an indication of his
government’s weakness against American attempts to preempt Mexican
sovereignty. Desirous of supporting Calderon, President Obama’s
domestic strategists found a device to once again create a
seemingly logical decision out of a false premise.
Buttressed by the political elements of the American
Hispanic community that do not want the Mexico/US border restricted
in any form, the White House has chosen to pretend there actually
is a lessening of Mexican drug-related action spilling over into
the United States. This in spite of the fact the sheriff of Pinal
County, Arizona, who is also president of the state’s sheriffs
association, has regularly reported continued and even increased
traffic of armed smuggling teams through his and nearby
counties.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reported that
they had deported a total of 24,950 convicted criminals from
Arizona through July of 2010 out of 66,000 illegal immigrants sent
back across the border. It appears a reasonable assumption that a
substantial number of the nearly 25,000 deported criminals had drug
connections.
Scott Stewart, who closely follows narcotics trafficking
issues for the authoritative analysis service, Stratfor,
reports there has been a “persistent rumor” that the Sinaloa cartel
has had Mexican federal government protection. In the same manner
the story has grown in acceptance that the Juarez cartel wanted
American intervention in order to block the Sinaloa from extending
its operations into Juarez territory. The Juarez operation has been
badly hit by a combination of Sinaloa and Mexican military action.
How coordinated this was has not been revealed, but the Juarez
leadership believes the joint government/Sinaloa efforts against
them have been obvious. Official figures of the Mexican authorities
show over 9,000 drug battle deaths on all sides so far this
year.
The contemporary history of the involvement of
professional military and drug gangs is marked by the fact that the
Los Zetas, now aligned with the Juarez and remnants of the Tijuana
cartel, was originally created by deserters from the Mexican Army
Special Forces Group. There are reports that the remnant of this
original crew is now aided by Guatemala street gangs of MS-13 along
with teams of ex-members of Guatemala Special Forces. Meanwhile the
Sinaloa cartel has allied with La Familia Michoacana (LFM) and the
Gulf cartel to form an umbrella group called the New Federation
that aims to destroy the Los Zetas and take over the Juarez
territories. Here is where the outreach into the U.S. becomes more
clear.
The LFM of the New Federation made its entrée into the
U.S. scene several years ago in Chicago. La Familia Michoacana had
surfaced as drug traffickers in the U.S. matching Los Angeles-based
MS-13 cooptees, Barrio Azteca (the American wing of the Mexican
Azteca) and an eponymous group known as Mexican Mafia. The Drug
Enforcement Agency tracked LFM connections to Dallas, Atlanta and
on to major mid-western cities. The principal activity of LFM is in
end use delivery. The New Federation’s other participating cartels
of Gulf and Sinaloa have their own extensive lines into the
U.S.
The Mexican drug cartels have brought sophistication and
financial power to their American operations that they now run as
wholly owned subsidiaries. The war between the New Federation and
the Zetas, Juarez, and Tijuana groups without a doubt spills over
into the U.S. This violence exists in order to protect their
respective distribution routes. Nonetheless, for obvious political
reasons the Washington administration wants to underplay these
connections and pretend that the drug wars of Mexico do not cross
over into the U.S. and thus have no appreciable impact on the
northern side of the border.
What further evidence does the Obama administration
require to prove the need for a major commitment to border security
— and against human and narcotics trafficking?

News item: Obama calls on "Latinos" to "punish our enemies":
http://www.weeklystandard.com/.....11932.html
From the desk of President B. Hussein Obama:
Dear Loyal Democrats,
As you know, I have called upon our Latino comrades to punish My enemies, an idea that occurred to Me after a private screening of the wonderful film Machete at the "White" House the other day. Seeing all those miserable, racist, Republican gringos hacked to death really gave Me a good feeling. The zeal with which the hero punished his enemies, along with his creative use of torture and edged blades, really got Me thinking about what we need to do to win this election. We have to punish My enemies.
So, here's where we start. First of all, you Latinos (and Latinas, of course) need to punish your enemies. Your people on the South side of the illegitimate border have already shown you how to do it. Machine gun and grenade attacks on police stations, police officers decapitated, mayors and governors gunned down in front of their families, etc. Yes, you Latinos really know how to punish your enemies. Why haven't you stopped to think about moving your action a little further North? After all, I can guarantee the U.S. Department of Justice, which controls our Federales, is not going to get involved. Haven't you heard about the New Black Panthers? Remember, people are not illegal! You didn't move, the border moved! There's a certain governor in Arizona, as well as a certain sheriff, who could use a little punishment. You know what I mean. Ask Robert Rodriguez if you have any questions.
Now, to My Muslim Brothers. You have been maligned and persecuted by this country even before the events of 9/11. The United States has been a constant supporter of the illegitimate, illegal, Zionist state that occupies the land of our Palestinian Brethren. Why do you tolerate this? You don't even have to resort to violence. Just show up at some heavily Republican precincts in your traditional garb on voting day and have a loud "pray in". Maybe have a few of your vans there with tinted windows. I guarantee you those Republicans will decide they have better things to do than come down and vote. Do you want Me to be able to keep My current plan for Israel on track? Do you want Me to be able to continue to protect Our Brethren in Iran? Then get out there and punish our enemies!
To the LBGTQ crowd out there I say this: Punish your enemies! Why do you just sit around letting these "Christians" slander you in their "churches"? Don't you know that gay marriage is a political issue? Don't you know that the IRS prohibits churches from preaching on political issues? Get out there and file some complaints! I can personally guarantee you that you will have a willing ear from Tim Geithner's people. I believe the DOJ can be on board to help out with some anti-discrimination lawsuits as well. For that matter, if you want to disrupt those "Christians'" worship services, well, don't you have a longstanding history of civil disobedience in this country? Let them learn tolerance if they want to worship in peace. That's right, no justice, no peace. Punish your enemies!
Finally, to my beloved African-American community, I say this. Have you learned nothing from the New Black Panther case? Get to the polling place and vote! After that, stay outside with a billy club and make sure only the right people come inside to vote. You know who I'm talking about. If you like having a couple of Black Men finally in charge of this country, then you had better fight to keep it that way, because I guarantee that your white enemies can't wait to take that away from you. So get your uniforms, your billy clubs and your friends, get out to the polling places, and punish your enemies!
Yes, We Can! We Can Punish Our Enemies! We hope for a new day when we punish My enemies and change Amerikkka into a nation just like the rest of the world. We are the ones we have been waiting for, and we will punish the rest of you.
Your President for Life,
B. Hussein Obama

I always enjoy your satire of our current resident of the "White" House. Today's letter is so close to the actual words from Barrack Hussein Obama that your wording doesn't differ much from his. His attempt to bring us all to our knees without opposition from the powers that be is the scariest thing this Halloween.

Americans know more about Lady Gaga than they do about the drug war in Mexico because the media has decided that it's not important. Just like they decided that the fact that Pres. Obama had been a member of Jeremiah Wright's racist church wasn't important. Certain members of the liberal media should be shot for treason or exiled to Somalia or Ciudad Juarez.

re: Less Nesman
I was simply following the wording from the above letter. I also find it appropriate now that the Dud in the "White" House has deemed white Americans "enemies to be punished" and labeled any who disagree with his socialism "racists."

Joint letter from Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh
To: Members of the Republican Party
Dear Members,
Well here we sit on the precipice of another lost Presidential election. Once again, having successfully over turned the term limits law in 2015, Barack Obama is set to fullfill his promised goal of remaining President for Life.
I know this is an extremely disheartening prospect, but there seems to be little we can do about it. Obama's ability to isolate us as a virtually all white adult male voting block has succeeded in dismantling our power to oppose him. He has politically seperated our women, our children and all minorities from us and our ideals and, as a result, we stand alone. Not only that but with every passing year we continue to lose members to the "sleep that never ends". Indeed, we, who are writing this letter to you now, are ever closer to our redemption. In short, we are a dying breed isolated from any influence on national policy and at this point, bereft of any further strategies that can undo what has been done.
We all thought that with Obama's establishment of the politburo in place of congress, the nationalizing of all manufacturing and agricultural endeavors and the creation of the Peoples Internal Watch Department that some would start to realize that Obama's policies were too extreme and that, as a result, we may be able to garner some support.
But quite the contrary has occured. It seems that dependency on the government has created a class of citizens who no longer strive for individual achievement and have lost touch with their original heritage. Not even our wives and children will come to our aid.
We have to admit that with our old age comes much discouragement. There seems to be no one willing to replace us for leadership of this party. The effect of constant IRS audits and other forms of government sponsored actions against us have succeeded in depriving us of anybody willing to take up the cause. In fact, we are well aware that not one of you has avoided IRS audits and other forms of harassment. And, unfortunately because of those actions our official membership now stands at less than 2 million aging, white, brave souls.
This is our last official letter to you. As we have alluded to you for sometime now we are just too damn old to continue. While our minds will never admit defeat, our bodies must. If there is anyone who wants to take up the challenge of regaining our country back please see us before it is too late.
Thank you,
Leadership Counsel of the Republican Party

So what else is new. Nothing we have not heard before. We all know the answer but for some reason we are unable to do anything about it.
Everything that this Country does with it foreign and domestic policy is completely based on the political party.
Nothing anymore is legislated for the good of the Country, it is legislated for what is good for the Party, the politician, the special interests, the lobbyist, and his or her cronies.
We who are not politically connected, or designated to be disadvantaged in some way shape or form are left to our own devices to suffer and be punished for these ill drafted laws.
Those who enter this Country illegally, don't follow our laws and customs, why should their allegiance is to whatever country that they were born to. Besides why should these illegal entrants have any allegiance to our laws and customs they're here for merely economic reasons and to be used as political pawns for the various special interest groups and they're benefactors in Washington D. C.
We all know that right? We stamp our feet complain, throw at least some of the bums out of office and two to three months after an election everyone quietly slips back into comfortable old habits and the cycle begins again.
Americans get murdered, and kidnapped at times in within our own borders by foreign invaders and Homeless Security trots in front of the TV cameras, "We are thoroughly going to investigate this heinous crime. I see the same type of rhetoric come out of the back end of my dog when he eats the wrong kind of dog food. And Americans continue to butchered along our Nation's borders.
So what is a Nation to do? We all know the reason to that one don't we, but due to the Office of Worthless Security that is more interested investigating those rascally Christians Right Wingers than Mexican Para Military crossing our borders and using Americans as target practice, and gutting them like carp.
We are what the government calls, "Acceptable Causalities." A predetermined amount of Americans can be removed from the living and the Country still could operate. It kind of all wrapped together with what Obama calls, "The United States absorbing another terrorist attack."
"But Melvin, the elections, the elections, it is going to make everything right as rain." Bit of news for ya. It isn't going to do squat and you know that deep down don't you?
Many in this Country expect the Lone Ranger and Tonto to roll out and save the day, just like they have for years now. But guess what? Tonto says he isn't do squat and he hates the Lone Ranger for stealing his land. The Lone Ranger is somewhere in some AZ retirement community with a broken down scooter chair.
The Lone Ranger and Tonto were never replaced. Because kids today don't believe in heroes anymore, they were told that heroes kill babies, and murder and rape people in foreign countries while they are burning their huts and houses down.
So I guess it could be said that no one is going to ride anymore to our rescue. So people we have a decision to make. Are we going to rise up and defend our borders or are we just going to let out a sigh, and go and sit next to the Lone Ranger and his busted ass scooter chair at the retirement community in AZ?

I believe this article missed the whole point on why the admin. is going to the extreme is has gone in its avoidance of the border security issue. Its called, by one of their own no less, potential illegal democrat voters.
It is a sad state of affairs that we have an admn. willingly as well as knowingly violating the rule of law in this Country. It is no accident the political wind is blowing in this direction. This fraud, some call their president, (me, I had to hold my nose and vote for the American) is unable for a variety of reasons, one being his sheer incompetence for the position, is headlong for a fight. Yes a fight with the American population nonetheless, "yea shall know them by their deeds" instantly comes to mind. Why do I believe this is a planned fight, this is not rocket scientist material here folks, the statement from the "won" five days before the election of this fraud, he proudly proclaimed, " in five days we will fundamentally transform this country" if that was not a clue to the overall intentions of this thief I don't know what was. We are witnessing the government's, on a massive scale no less, promote wholesale TREASON ( his primary duty being to "protect and defend the Constitution") and dereliction of their duties and for what end. Oh my guess is the transformation thing, one way or the other, it matters little to this petulant punks as to how it is achieved.
I am a patriot who has shed my blood heavily upon the ground of freedom, and will not hesitate to do so again if I must. Let there be no mistake upon this statement, far better men than myself have been placed back into womb of mother earth for less but, none, I repeat none have been forgotten by those of us who this admin now calls enemies and someone really needs to explain to this foreigner that their is a spirit in these here patriots, no a flame that will never be distinguished from within, no matter what he thinks of us or how derogatory, or bad he speaks of us. In 1969, Dad said Mexico was an enemy. The Mexicans will do everything they can to tweak us. But what he failed to realize the main enemy is amongst us, American citizens who want an open border policy, Republicans-cheap labor and Democrats-demographic shift to keep them in power. It's treason from both sides of the aisle and the rest of us suffer from unfettered drugs, asymptotic felonious crimes and destroyed neighborhoods. First things first this country needs to politically clean house, identify and remove these traitors. Second, the chant of 1960's Latin America-IMPERIALISM/YANKEE GO HOME. Now it's time for Latinos to go home by FORCE if necessary.

The Republicans didn't all through the 2000s - as a matter of fact, they couldn't wait to hand over citizenship to 20-million illegals so they could "Do the work that Americans won't do - because we've incentivized them to not work" Bush thought that would be swell and Rove though they could win some votes - but who cares what Ameicans think!
And who cares? The Democrats want to destroy the present make up of America - they hate the old white guys who made this country, still hate their dads for making them mow the lawns on Saturday and flushing their pot down the toilet.
And really, who cares? The Wall Street Journal thinks that labor arbitrage is just the niftiest thing! They think the middle class is way to middle - it needs a good shoving back. And the Chamber of Commerce couldn't agree more.

As a newly minted permanent resident who was born in Canada, I wonder what the response would be if all of this criminal activity was going on in Seattle or Spokane or Billings or in Williston? What would the resulting action be if the perps were a bunch of canadians (if say, ukrainian or french descent)? I can almost guarantee that action would be swift. I used to travel frequently to Calgary and Vancouver. A canadian chided me for US policy vis a vis illegals. He could not accept that most Americans do not want illegal aliens just walking into the USA. He considered this totally stupid, almost fascist.
I asked him how he - and other Canucks - would feel if the USA bused all the illegals - by the tens of thousands - to the Canadian border and told them to cross into Canada.
He then shut up.

For every dead, headless body in Mexico, for every fatherless or motherless child in Mexico, for all of the pain and suffering in Mexico, you people who use any drugs are responsible for it. And until you are able to face life head on instead of burying your head in drugs this will continue.
How long before this makes its way into the US (though in some neighborhoods it is already like this). Forget the illegal alien discussions, it is just a symptom of the real problem. And do you think that legalizing pot will make this go away? If you do then you really have been smoking too much of that "$%#" already.

Evidence and facts have very little to do with the way this administration thinks and acts. Any event that doesn't fit their world view of Bad bullying America, arrogant power and environmental abuse, simply doesn't regiater on their radar.
The current situation in Mexico is much closer to Pancho Villa and his invasion of the U. S. than it is about welcoming poor immigrants to our land. Our reaction should be similar to the Pershing expedition to track down Pancho Villa than to any amnesty approach. In fact the two issues are not related. The gangs and cartels are a clear and present danger. Our government needs to see it as such.
john| 10.29.10 @ 12:36PM
The truth can not be told. The truth would cause anyone who pays attention, to realize the dangers of another amnesty. The 1986 amnesty was a nightmare for our enforcement agencies. Fruad cases were not investigated, anyone with an anmesty application was protected from deportation or removal. Enforcement away from the border was crippled. The status of amnesty cases was difficult to determine and injunctions were applied to huge groups of people. It came down to pay your money, manufacture false documents to cheat a system, that did not even brother to check for fraud; and get your license to smuggle. The 1986 amnesty dealt with about 2 million aliens and it took over seven years to run its course. This new program will involve more than 10 to 20 million, including the chain migration cases that it will generate, at a huge cost to the U.S. citizens. It will completely destroy the purpose of immigration laws, to protect our country and add a measure of control to our immigration process.
That is why the border shootouts inside the U.S, the drug wars and links to terrorist groups are not reported.

Several years ago, Icreated a small piece of copy by taking an internet picture of the Statue of Liberty and superimposing the following text on the pedestal in contrasting color: "O patres patriae, iamdudum alienibus illegalibus defutata sum. Da mihi cito cingulam castitatis! [O fathers of the fatherland, I have been screwed long enough by illegal aliens. Give me a chastity belt forthwith!]" (I have known of a case in Britain, where the People's right of arms stands nearly totally abrogated, wherein a rape victim bought a chastity belt to protect herself, as best the law allowed her to do, against another violation.)

Oct 10 2010, Chandler AZ. Beheaded body, found in apartment. Police believe it is drug releated violence. I live in Chandler AZ. The wars have already began. People living in Southern AZ, mostly rural, small ranches and isolated homes live in fear. They do not feel they can leave their homes because if they do there homes will be vandalized by illegals using those areas as highways into this country. Signs on the south side of U.S. Interstate Highway 8 advising travelers not to enter that area due to danger of being harmed by drug and human smugglers. Arizona Law enforcement officers being tracked and one being shot by drug and human smugglers. Drop houses holding 30, 40, 50 and more illegals in Phoenix being raided weekly by Arizona law enforcement officers. What they find is women being ganged raped, men being tortured and everyone suffering from lack of food and water. Many being held for prolonged periods of time while the coyotes try and extort more money from relatives. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just delivered a decision that no one has to prove they are a citizen of the United States of America to register to vote in Arizona. All this and more is being done in the State of Arizona, as far as I know still a part of the United States of America
When is our country going to wake up and realize this Administration doesn't give a damm about what is going on here? This President only cares about a Progressive/Marxist political outcome. The National Democrat p0litical party lost it's soul during the Clinton years and has gone even further left with this President. What the open borders push is all about is bringing in another group of political supplicants that will be block voters for the Democrat Party. After this November election, if the Republicans in the house do not immediately do something about protecting our borders, the next election in 2012 will be bloody.

Obama & Gang as I must refer to them, in truth, believe as Marx did:
Here is a review of a book I recommend to all concerning Socialism, Marxism & it's Daddy, Communism.
"Marx & Satan" by Richard Wurmbrand. Tortured for over 14 years in Communist prisons and lived to tell, and also began the underground churches in Communist countries across the world (persecution.com).
"Marx & Satan by Richard Wurmbrand, Paperback: 143 pages, Publisher: Living Sacrifice Book Co; (December 1, 1986) ISBN: 0891073795
The connection between Satan worship and communism, March 11, 2003
Reviewer: Jill M. Heins (Lenexa, KS United States) Richard Wurmbrand's book was a revelation to me, and yet at the end I felt foolish that I hadn't seen the connection between Satanism and communism earlier.
Wurmbrand quotes Milovan Djilas, the Yugoslav communist leader, who wrote of Marx and his cohorts, "They make a semblance of believing in the ideal of socialism, in a future society without class. In reality, they believe in nothing but organized power."
The precursors to the Russian Communist party called themselves succinctly, "Hell." This Satanic parallel undoubtedly prompted Dostoyevski to write, "The Demons" and Wurmbrand successfully argues that communism is simply a front organization for Satanism.
While the Nazi passion for the occult is more well-known, the communist's lesser-known fascination with it is disturbing. Russia has a vested interest in keeping many of Marx's writings unknown--they would sound bizzare to people unaware of the demonic connection or those naive enough to buy into the class struggle argument.
Anatole France, the renowned French communist writer, was not only a Satan worshipper but had a special chair dedicated to presiding over Satanist rituals. It had horned armrests and legs covered in goat fur. This unusual chair was exhibited in Paris, but brought to Moscow. Oddly, it's not exhibited by the Russians. However, black magic rites are still practiced at Marx's tomb so it's not difficult to imagine that France's chair is still used today.
Hess taught Marx that socialism is inseparable from globalism. The communists have traditionally used race and class struggle as a crutch and are undoubtedly proud of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton's work to promote revolution for revolution's sake in the US.
Peter Verhovensky is quoted as saying, "We are already terribly powerful . . . Jurors who acquit criminals are completely ours. The District Attorney who trembles in court not to be considered liberal enough is ours. Administrators, men of letters, we are many, very many, and they don't know they belong to us."
Wurmbrand's argument is convincing and well-researched. He encourages others to delve into the connection between Satan worship and communism, and I hope a journalist takes him up on his offer."

As long as American law enforcement consider their Mexican counterparts to be part of the international police brotherhood, nothing will change. Sharing information with them, or trusting the info they share without verification is ludicrous. In effect Mexican Kingpins are allowed to put honest Americans on a watch list. A 3oo Billion dollar drug trade with the Barney Fifes of the world to protect us is hysterical if you are a Mexican Gangster, but what about us honest folks.

Has anyone else noticed the USA has an inverse relationship with all other Nation/States.
Specifiably the worst relationship a regime has with the USA the longer that regime will last.
Consider North Korea which has been in an active state of war for decades are soon to be on their 3rd generation of family leadership. Iran, Burma, China, and Vietnam have all proven that open hostility to the USA prolongs that government.
On the other hand closeness to the USA is often fatal to a government. For example one of the closest relationships with the USA is Israel who are constantly attacked. Our relationship with Mexico is not so different.
The reason is simple. When a Nation with a close relationship is attacked, the USA, in the name of Peace, will suppress any action against the attacker. The USA, in the name of Peace, will protect and support the attacker no matter the provocation. As a result the conflict will grow and metastasize.
In Mexico the US Liberals are supporting the Drug Cartels through their drug sales. Liberalism claims freedom of lifestyle in buying Mexico's drugs but suppress the Mexico Police in the name of human rights. As a result, a civil war has broken out in Mexico.
As a general rule, friendship with US Liberalism is hazardous to a nations health.

RCV:
"Government is instituted for the common good; for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people; and not for profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore, the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government; and to reform, alter, or totally change the same, when their protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness require it."

How much of the violence in Mexico is a direct consequence of the U.S. War on Drugs? The effect of prohibition is produce criminal cartels that control distribution and sale of a substance.
