Andrew Cuomo Up to Old Tricks
Could he end up investigating himself?
While traveling on a U.S. State Department-funded tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man who backs the Cordoba Initiative, which would fund the construction of a mosque near the site of the World Trade Center 9/11 terrorist attacks, met with potential financial backers of the project, including current and former investors in a firm that formerly had close ties to New York gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo.
While in Dubai, according to State Department sources, Rauf met with financiers behind Emirates National Securitization Corporation (ENSeC). ENSeC is Dubai’s version of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which has developed a secondary mortgage system that is assisting in capitalizing residential and commercial properties that are collateralized by UAE based mortgages.xq
ENSeC was the brainchild of Andrew Cuomo more than a decade ago, when, as a senior executive of Island Capital Group LLC in Manhattan, he was credited with working with the UAE to create the secondary mortgage entity. Andrew Farkas is the chairman of Island Capital, and currently a co-finance chair for the Cuomo for Governor campaign; for many years he served as vice chairman of ENSeC before selling his interest to the Dubai government sometime between 2008 and 2009. Farkas also has had extensive dealings with Dubai World, and his relationship with Cuomo is a complicated and controversial one.
Between 2004 and 2006 Cuomo reportedly earned as much as $2 million from his time with Island Capital, which followed failed political campaigns in New York and his scandal-ridden time as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Clinton administration. Cuomo’s time at HUD included a sexual harassment case and abuse-of-office charges after he, according to the agency’s inspector general, attempted to have the agency target African-American mayors in investigations of potential housing fraud.
During Cuomo’s time at HUD, he also authorized an investigation of Insignia Financial Services, a firm owned by … Andrew Farkas. In the civil suit that Cuomo authorized in 1997, federal prosecutors accused the Farkas firm of paying $7.6 million in kickbacks to the owners of 17 federally subsidized projects that Insignia managed.
Farkas has no ties to the mosque controversy, nor does ENSeC. Cuomo — currently the New York State attorney general — claimed he would look into who was financing the so-called Ground Zero mosque.

Dear Voter,
It has come to my attention that large numbers of you are actually considering giving your vote to that windbag a@@h*** Paladino this November. First and foremost, I would like to stress to each of you f****** morons who is thinking about voting for that s***head Paladino that I completely respect your right to vote, even if you're completely f****** in the head. That being the case, there are a few things we need to talk about before the election.
Did you know that it's now possible to cross-reference your state tax form with your voter i.d.? Sure, it's old technology. So while you're voting for the candidate of your choice, event that f***w**,d********, c********* Paladino, please remember that it just MIGHT be POSSIBLE that the Attorney General can see who you voted for and cross reference it with your tax i.d. I know, I know, some people scream about "privacy" all the time, but only criminals really worry about that. If you're doing the right thing, and hey, we're all gonna do the right thing here, okay, then you don't have to worry about privacy.
On an unrelated issue, let's talk about yard signs. I see a few of you dumba**** have Paladino signs out in the yards in front of your bedbug infested dumps. You do know we have imminent domain around here, right? I'd hate it if your neighbors or somebody started filing a complaint about your property just because of a stupid f******* Paladino sign in the yard, and then there was an inspection, and then your property got condemned. Not that it would be connected to the election, but s*** happens, you know.
On the other hand, say you had a couple of nice Cuomo yard signs out front sprucing the place up. Why that could actually INCREASE your property values, not to mention drive down crime by the very mention of my name. So if somebody was having trouble with the local code board, say, and had a couple of MY signs out front, then the A.G.'s office could explain to those yokels how things really worked. You know what I mean.
Anyway, these are just a few thoughts I wanted to share with you headed into November. Have a nice f******* day.

It appears Andrew the Nasty accompanied Madam Hillary on her NY listening tour before the queen duped the fools of NY and dumped them for her failed presidential bid.
Andrew appears to understand the plight of upstate NYers very well. He should, he, Hillary and their party have created NYs mess for decades.
Yet the fools will continue to vote D. Fortunately, when Madam Hillary loses her bid for president in 2012, she'll not dupe NYers into a second listening tour, simply because she won't give a s*** by then.
