Yet another reason to buy Toyota.

Hey, I love my Rav4

I have bought 4 Toyotas since 2000 and will never buy a GM or Chrysler vehicle. Among other reasons for not buying them, their "new car smell" reeks of the Union Class/Ruling Class/Obama.

Too bad Toyota's products aren't that great anyway. The 22re motor, which was used in everything from passenger vehicles to forklifts up until recently, had some serious engineering flaws causing quite a few patrons to think they had blown head gaskets only to find out through multiple trips to the mechanic to fix the same problem, that their timing chain would break the plastic guides and wear through the aluminum timing cover into coolant passages.
I'll keep my old GM vehicle, and use nothing but aftermarket parts for... well everything on it.

I used to be a staunch GM owner.
I now consider GM a foreign auto-maker.
No longer American.

I was a chevy man for most of my life. Not anymore.
Currently have 1967 Dodge D500
1984 Chevy K5 Blazer
1988 Chevy Scottsdale
1993 GMC C6000
Will never own GM after 2009.

Why buy a new vehicle? Why not just fix what you have?
Alan| 8.22.10 @ 5:19AM
Apparently more than just their trucks are built "Ford Tough" but als even they are included in my vow to only support corporations and businesses that have the least amount of Union involvement and Government subsidies as possible.
