Garet has gotten the etymology of utopia not really right. It is composed, not of 'eu' and 'topia' as he proposes, but is drawn from the Greek, 'ou', meaning 'not' and 'topos', meaning 'place. It literally means 'no place' and, by extension, 'nowhere.' Check any standard dictionary.
