Soros Eyes Secretaries

A plan to secure the 2012 election through the so-called Secretary of State Project. 

History’s most notorious Georgian-turned-Russian, the politically astute Joseph Stalin once remarked, “The people who cast the votes decide nothing. The people who count the votes decide everything.”

The lesson has not been lost on the increasingly notorious Hungarian-cum-American George Soros.

A group backed by Soros is gearing up to steal the 2012 election for President Obama and congressional Democrats by installing left-wing Democrats as secretaries of state across the nation. From such posts, secretaries of state can help tilt the electoral playing field.

This is, of course, the same Soros, the same hyperpolitical left-wing philanthropist who makes no secret of his intention to destroy capitalism. In an interview with Der Spiegel last year, Soros said European-style socialism “is exactly what we need now. I am against market fundamentalism. I think this propaganda that government involvement is always bad has been very successful — but also very harmful to our society.”

The vehicle for this planned hijacking of democracy is a below-the-radar non-federal “527” group called the Secretary of State Project. The entity can accept unlimited financial contributions and doesn’t have to disclose them publicly until well after the election.

It was revealed during a panel discussion at the Democratic Party’s convention last year that the Democracy Alliance, a financial clearinghouse created by Soros and Progressive insurance magnate Peter B. Lewis, approved the Secretary of State Project as a grantee. The Democracy Alliance aspires to create a permanent political infrastructure of nonprofits, think tanks, media outlets, leadership schools, and activist groups — a kind of “vast left-wing conspiracy” to compete with the conservative movement. It has brokered more than $100 million in grants to liberal nonprofits, including ACORN.

The latest fundraising appeal from the SoS Project warns:

In the 2000 and 2004 elections, we saw the results of extreme Republican tactics to intimidate voters and steal the presidential election — the disastrous presidency of George W. Bush. Today, we watch as Republicans go to even greater extremes — even carrying guns to town hall meetings. If they are willing to go to such extremes now, how far will they go on November 6, 2012 to steal the election from President Barack Obama? [emphasis added]

At the top of the SoS Project’s slate of candidates for state-level secretary of state positions in 2010 is Minnesota’s radically left-wing Mark Ritchie, a former community organizer whose cavalier attitude toward electoral fraud and whose shamelessly partisan conduct during the recount process cleared the way for Al Franken to steal last year’s U.S. Senate election from then-Sen. Norm Coleman (R-Minn.). Ritchie was first elected Minnesota secretary of state in 2006. Franken and Obama, by the way, were endorsed last year by ACORN Votes, ACORN’s federal political action committee.

In 2006, the Minnesota ACORN PAC endorsed Ritchie, a longtime ACORN ally, and donated to his campaign. According to the Minnesota Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board, contributors to Ritchie’s campaign included liberal philanthropists Soros, Drummond Pike, and Deborah Rappaport, along with veteran community organizer Heather Booth, a Saul Alinsky disciple who co-founded the Midwest Academy, a radical ACORN clone that breeds Marxist agitators. One article on Ritchie’s 2006 campaign website brags about the fine work ACORN did in Florida to pass a constitutional amendment to raise that state’s minimum wage.

The 2010 slate also includes California Secretary of State Debra Bowen, whom the group describes as “one of the most progressive Secretaries of State in the nation.” Bowen was endorsed in her previous run by California ACORN PAC.

SoS Project is also endorsing Jocelyn Benson, candidate for secretary of state in Michigan, whom it lauds as an “[e]lection law scholar and community organizer.”

Benson is a candidate ACORN would love. The bio SoS Project provides credits Benson with running a 2004 “voter protection campaign in 21 states, deploying 17,000 trained election law lawyers.” Last year in Michigan, she helped to lead the fight to stop the Republican secretary of state “from disenfranchising voters who were victims of home foreclosures.”

Assuming the desperately mismanaged Michigan continues to exist through Election Day next year, count on the desperately evil ACORN endorsing Benson.

To the Secretary of State Project, Republican secretaries of state are always Snidely Whiplashes trying to undermine progressive Dudley Do-Rights. SoS claims to advance “election protection” but only backs Democrats, religiously believe that right-leaning secretaries of state helped the GOP steal the presidential elections in Florida in 2000 (Katherine Harris) and in Ohio in 2004 (Ken Blackwell).

We know the vass involvement of groups such as ACORN, AmeriCorp, etc. They are there to infact "steal elections." it is not an illusion, it is a fact. Yes We The People are on the brink. While many are losing their homes, employment, retirement funds, many of us know the real story around this scandle, and it does not involve the "right wing conspiracy" movement. It is in fact a Cloward-Piven strategy proven with the involvenemt of CRA, and the involvement of the Demonrats resolve to push this country in a socialistic/marxist direction. B.O stated five days before the election " in five days we will fundamentaly change the foundation of this Country." It does not take a rocket scientist to understand what this statement meant. G. Since Soros has made public his dessire to 'rig' elections in American he can be brought up on charges of subversion. Any citizen can bring those charges, so I think we should file a 'class action lawsuit' against Mr. Soros and get rid of him once and for all. He was born in a communist country, came to America as a child and now he wants to turn America into the communist country he left. He may be a financial wizard, but when it comes to good ole fashioned common sense he is 'out ot lunch'. I understand that subversion is the next best thing to being charged with treason. Can someone please tell me exactly how George Soros, the billionaire financier, is going to make ooddles of money by having America embrace European socialism? No one has been able to directly answer this question. I don't think he cares what form of government America has but I think he care about making lots of money & it's extermely difficult to make millions under socialism. Those "millionaires" in Europe have their money hiding somewhere not in Europe.

Trivial. The man is a currency trader by profession. He made his initial billions shorting the British pound during its catastrophic decline , I believe in the 60's. He is now shorting the American dollar. 10 to 1 return on whatever he's shorted that's declined. He'd love to see our currency tank, and will reap serious profits from making sure it does.

every and any socialist ring-leader has ever wanted socialism exclusively for the "masses". After usurping one or another country no one of them ring-leaders has ever embraced a socialist way of life for them personally. Take for instance this dashing political porn star, Ernesto "Che" Gevarra - he lived in a villa stolen from its rightful owners, all expenses paid. And you know how the the rest of the Cubans live. Absolutely the same picture in any communist country.

So don't you pity Mr. Soros and his opportunities to make money in a socialist America. If now he has to struggle with competition (Oh, evil capitalism!), then he'll take directly what he likes like all communist elites ever do.

I will take your post seriously in my answer.

1. Mr Soros is rich via "currency trading". For our purposes here think of it as stock market trading.
Mr. Soros continues to make hundreds of millions of $$ "shorting the dollar". In other words, if the value of the dollar goes down 20% he makes a smooth 20% cash profit....with no tax burden due to international juggling.

2. For most "money pilers", money is nothing except "power"...or fear of being powerless. Mr. Soros is converting money d-i-r-e-c-t-l-y to power, and having a wonderful time pushing the pieces around the board just for the fun of it.

3. Mr. Soros has forged a link between political power and financial power, not seen since the "robber barron" days of the 1800s.

4. I personally think he has a grudge against America...perhaps from his childhood behind the iron curtain.

One can trade currencies with only 10% cash deposit. In the above Soros example - he can short sell a billion dollars with a cash deposit of only 100 million. When the dollar goes down by 20% he then buys that billion back for 800 million only: so his deposit of 100 million earns back 300 million, for a 200% profit.

Thanks for exposing one of my suspicions, Mr. Vadum. Can you or someone else at Spectator explain what Obama-ayers is up to with regard to the so-called Czars? I smell an end run around our beloved congress if/when the communistcrats lose control, hopefully in 2010. I just don't understand how it'll work. I see the present use is to work around the bureaucracy to ensure things get done instead of being postponed or "stonewalled". Perhaps my mind is just not Byzantine enough.

The end-run is quite simple if one understands what the Czars did in a marxist sense, they are a shadow government put in place to ensure the transition from a Representative Republic to a totalitarian marxist power base. The Czars are largely not confirmed as should be by Congress, yes a few have been but, it allows the little o cover for mistakes in his political positions and also the czars will be in place to re-place members of this Congress if an emergency should occur, be it by a flase-flag operation of concieved national emergency. They only answer to the little o, not CONgress. What everyone should be concerned with is the statement from the little o, "we need an army just as funded as our military, just as well equiped" and just what will this army do, we already have a construct by which the armed forces of these United States operate within. I suspect the little o means an army of marxist/socialist little brown shirt operators designed to create havoc against the patriots of this country. That army will be needed in case the little o decides that our Representative Republic no longer works, adding to the thought and words as to the effect that capital markets are a failure we so often hear from the Demonrat party.

Shooting with a camera will be invaluable to fight the media bias. If an overwhelming number of voters turn out for Republicans to take over the Congress in 2010 there will be investigations of voter fraud and some of the proof they need could very well come from photos and information provided by citizens who want this county back. Many of the pictures from the tea parties are the only proof they existed and in very large numbers. Let's hope shooting with camera's is all we have to do.

I have been harping on this very issue for several years now. In the aftermath of the 2000 election, the Democrats set up the Secretaries of State project, directly funded by Soros. Over the next four years, they quietly identified the key battleground states where they wanted to have their own bought and paid for secretaries of state. They subsequently selected hardcore leftists who would be willing to turn a blind eye to blatant voter fraud and then funded their campaigns for secretary of state in key states. They succeeded. In 2004, these particular secretaries of state were elected in a number of Midwest and Middle Atlantic states, setting the stage for the 2008 election in which these corrupt secretaries of state ignored massive voter fraud on the part of ACORN and dutifully certified the fraudulent results in Ohio, Indiana, and several other states. This tipped the election to Obama.

The RNC has been MIA on this entire issue. I have sent them letters detailing this and have never heard heard back from them. What the Democrats accomplished in this endeavor was huge, and it cost them very little. It only cost their benefactor Soros a grand total of two or three million dollars to more than adequately fund the successful campaigns of leftist secretary of state candidates in about eight or nine key states. I have pleaded with the RNC to start their own secretaries of state project to take back these critical positions from the Dems, but all I hear from them is crickets chirping. It is as if they are terminally stupid. They apparently do not even recognize this as something they need to be concerned about. We should all collectively start yelling bloody murder to the RNC about this until they wake up and finally do something.

Old Texican: With respect, one small correction, my friend. A savvy currency trader can make hundreds of percent on the money invested on relatively small fluctuations in value of one currency relative to another. I met a very wealthy private currency trader a few years ago who routinely makes 200 to 300 percent annually on his invested capital on just 5 or 6 currency trades each year. So someone like Soros stands to make potentially tens of billions of dollars by engineering the devaluation of the American dollar.

I live in Minnesota. When I sent in the fraudulent voter registration card issued to somebody at my address, they removed him from the registration list. Then after election day I got another bogus card. The fraudulent voter just registered at the polling place and voted anyway. All he would've needed is somebody to vouch for him. I went to vote in the mid terms of the Clinton congress overthrow and was asked three..yes three times by an election secretary for proof of who I was. She asked once at the desk, once on the way to the voting booth and once while I was in the booth. Wonder what she thought she knew that morning? She sure seemed mighty peeved when I did turn out to be who I said I was. That has never left my mind. I don't vote for small bond election things but obviously someone had been, using my name evidently. Cluckish old woman finally huffed off back to her desk and gave me a dirty look on the way out the door.

We have all been conned. Our only way to circumvent all of these jerks is to vote NONE OF THE ABOVE and check off the ballot box for OTHER parties, preferably NATIONALIST ones.

Doggone it, I just felt someone had to say it...straight up.
This wonderful country, with all her scabs, has allowed me a wonderful life. She probably has for many of you.
My goodness, we have had opportunities to reach, and fail, and get skinned knees, and get up and try again. No other place or time in history has afforded that.
There is a veterans' cemetary right down the road from our home. Every time I go past, I get a lump in my throat.
Sometimes, I just pull over and imagine the hell some of those boys went through. They could not even imagine you and I sitting quietly at a computer, even having to discuss these things.

Computers.....hmmmmm. You know, when I was a kid, I contracted polio. This wonderful dad across the street was a member of several book clubs, and he brought me a sack of really great books every week. He showed me a window to the world I could never have imagined. That whole year while I was paralyzed hips down, I got to read some of the finest thought ever written in english. A lot of fiction...some science-fiction ...biographies...history...and lots of adventure stories.
He nor I could have ever imagined the world literally at our fingertips through the internet.

I have had the opportunity to converse with you guys in these hard days. Pretty neat. Even though Mr. Soros sends his little drones in here to distract us, never forget that hundreds of thousands of folks drop by every week here, and never write a word. They read though.
Every one of you are making a difference with your contributions.
You help me.

See, having sat in their shoes, I can get just about any CEO in the country on the phone within an hour or so. I can transmit your thoughts to them. I can pass to them your frustrations and fears...and some of your really brilliant insights that just sorta' pop up in our conversations.

I have been posting many of the words our forefathers have written about the Constitution and government. Ironically, and to my surprise, Mr. Obama said in his 4th of July address that America needs to summon the "SPIRIT" that built a cluster of 13 colonies into the United States of America.

Well, on this one point I must say that I am 100% in agreement with him.

But, as with what now has become his modus operandi, he has said one thing, which he thinks will evoke some patriotic response, and is doing something totally the opposite. Another quote I recall from his campaign speeches was "JUST WORDS?"

No Sir, they are not "JUST WORDS"! So lets take a look at the "SPIRIT" of these words and see where it lead us.

This is the “SPIRIT” and these are the “BELIEFS” that now fall upon us to defend.

It is up to us to heed these words and be ready and willing to act.

What will history’s memory say about us? Will we continue to follow the downward spiral of “complacency to apathy, from apathy to dependency, from dependency back to bondage." Or will we summon the courage, bravery and belief of our forefathers and continue defending the self-evident truths of Freedom and Liberty. The time to act is now, not with symbolic protests but with the same tenacity, fortitude, courage and bravery of our forefathers. A true call to action:

OUR CONSTITUTIONAL SPIRIT (mission)

We find these truths to be non-negotiable, and we will defend the true Spirit of Freedom & Liberty with a force equal to that, which is forced upon us by any “form of distorted, bastardized illegitimate government” which would try to “separate the text from historical background”, “pervert and subvert the Constitution”. “Create debts greater than can be paid off during the course of its own existence”. “Take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not”. Create “laws legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry”. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other”. “The Constitution only guarantees the American people the right to pursue happiness. I had a whole post written and the browser lost it but I said that when reading Tex's post I lost it when I git to what Abe Lincoln said. I guess it's because I always loved him. I just think he was one humble man after God's own heart, I don't care what they say. The part about us destroying ourselves from within. It's true and it's happening.
I always get amazed at the wisdom our Founding Fathers had. And that's right, it's about the spirit of the words, and like Wisdom comes from the Spirit of God, and not from books, so does the Spirit of freedom. "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom." 2 Cor. 3:7.
The Founders were truly guided by God in their doings, and gave us the best form of government they could.
I just pray by God's Grace we aren't on the verge of losing it all.

It is going to be very hard for leftwing secretary of states to win in 2010 given it will be a GOP year. While this is a concern, it hardly will tip the 2012 elections.

If the economy is strong in 2011-12, Obama wont have to steal the election. He'll easily win 55% of the vote and add MO and GA to his 2008 EV totals. Conservatives had better brace themselves for an economic recovery that creates 4% GDP growth and 3m new jobs annually. There is going to be a recovery. Structurally, the US economy is in worse shape that it has been since the Depression. However, that can be overcome in the short term (2-4 years) by creating excess liquidity. Inflation doesnt rear its head instantly. It took more than 2 years after Nixon took the US off the Gold Standard in 1971 to get even 5% inflation. Greenspans 1% interest rates in 2002 didnt cause noticable inflation for 3-4 years.

As for socialism, it is a cancer, but a slow spreading cancer that takes years to destroy an economy. UK embraced socialism in 1945 but it took until the 1960s for the effects to become noticed and another 15 until Thatcher was elected

There is going to be mass conservative suicide if Obama wins in 2012. Right now I'd say the economy in 2012 will be much better than today and he'll be reelected. The pay back for all the Fed excess and socialism wont come until after 2012.

The only constructive answer is to organize a voter turn out organization and a voting "watch" group sooner than later. The Lefts playbook has been thru organization and that is a lesson that many have not grasped. It may take time but without a counter force that is highly motivated by anger ( that is the key to motivation ) all one can do is complain. Organizing should be outside the realm of the Republican Party--I do not trust their leadership as I see it. It has to be Tea Party in essence.

I have an undying faith in the American people, and a firm belief in capitalism. Our short memories forget the havoc Clinton created when he was in office. Everything that man touched, he stained. (Pardon the pun)

For far less offenses, we tossed out the socialists in the house and senate, took control, and recaptured our country. And he was our first black President, remember?

Then we proceeded to OUTGROW THE DEFICIT!

We got no tax cuts from Clinton. In spite of, or because of, government doing nothing, except GETTING THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY, we expanded our economy to the point of surplus!

As much as Clinton's hacks have tried to take credit for the late '90's economy, it was the handcuffs put on him by congress, that provided record economic growth.

Folks, we can do it again!

If not for a domestic terror attack, and President Bush channeling his father's "go along get along" genes, we would be doing Terrel Owens style touchdown dances around China's economy!

What we need is for some fresh faced politicians to stop apologizing to the world for being America.They are out there. Do you know where they are?

They are in this, and many other audiences. They are YOU!

It's time to step up, and take responsibility for this great nation's future! We have to do it ! We can't wait for the next Ronald Reagan, we have to BE the ones to put his thoughts and ideas back into America's mainstream.

We can grow the economy out of trouble, we did it before, with a socialist democrat President! Imagine what we can do, with both houses and a consevative leader!

The last time we had the chance, we stopped educating the American people, because we thought the job was done, and we thought we had a conservative President.

OP you are exactly right. Its not only this its the filling in of permanent government jobs in various non -elected echelons. Its thru court appointments,its thru infiltration of educational systems and the media. There is a big job to do but the first step is to realize the mistake of allowing this to happen. And then,beginning an organization. If it took the Dems 50-60 years to get where they are then counter forces will take time too. Re the Secry of State voter manipulation possibilities
1. AT the actual vote booths, there are BOTH parties equally represented. Fraud is very hard to effect.
2. Close races, where a Secry of State chooses the winner, on vote count, delays, or vote registration law suits is always vulnerable. Close races can and are bought and sold.
3. Where we have to be active is in the PRE election process. Overwhelming the actual vote count to ensure a clear winner is our best bet.
4. The ACORNites, and the NGO support will be out in force well before the election, in 2010 or 2012. Exposure of who, what and where these activitists act out is the best protection. They simply cannot stand exposure.
5. We, the USA Electorate, regardless of affliation, can and will protect this country. The Leftists will not succeed.

Good Lord.....Where will it end?

This article is the first time I've heard of this particular bit of leftist strategy and, to put sprinkles on the cupcake, Robin Carnahan (Missouri) is my Sec of State.

What will it take before the citizens of the US wake up to what is going on around them?? I know some will never allow their perceptions of the progressives to be removed. They have invested to much of their life and motional capital in this twisted belief to ever let it go. It would negate their very existence.
But the rest of the US, when they wake up and realize what has happened, what has been stolen from them, what will they do?? And worse yet, when they realize the very future has been stolen from their children, what will they do?? How will they react?
Quite frankly, I find the thought chilling. Not everyone will be satisfied with voting the offenders out of office. And when they realize many of the thieves are not elected and can't be voted out, what then?

Pray for our nation and your fellow citizen, especially if they have a progressive point of view. They are the ones who will need it most.

Getting Hercules to Help You

Hercules won’t help you until you have all five items from Zeus’ quest. Once you have the five items, bring them to Athena. Zeus will appear and steal them. The big jerk! Once this happens, talk to Athena and she will tell you that Hercules will help you. You’ll need to have the magic mirror from Aphrodite because Hercules doesn’t want to have to walk. He’s so lazy!
Getting the Hydra Scale

You can see how to do this in the videos, but basically you need to jump up when the Hydra is about to strike. He will rear one of his heads back to attack and his eyes will bulge out. When this happens, jump up in the air and then try to land on top of his head. That head will get knocked out. When all five heads get knocked out, the Hydra will be asleep and you can click on him to get one of the scales. After the 08 elections I wrote our Republican leader in Kansas and stated we needed to get started for the 10 election to make sure that fraud would be stopped. I never heard back from him.

I am sure there was much fraud in 08 but because of the race issue it was not brought to the forefront.
