Mr. Holland, in your well written letter, you left out Honduras. The US is shafting that country and becoming more friendly with dictators than with democracies. Character in a leader is important. Unfortunately, I don't see much in our current president. Dennis In Oreogn

I have an idea......
While Obama ponders on what to do with all of the death and destruction that has gripped the world much at the hands of militant freaks....
Let's award Obama the Nobel Peace Prize.
and we thought the Chicago Olympic deal was a joke.......Geez......if this wasn't so hysterically funny I would be in tears because of just how bad this world has sunk into the toilet.
Obama really has a political problem now......how do you order up 40,000 more troops that are needed after getting this award....and yet if you don't listen to the General you loose big time.
Man oh man what a hysterical joke!!

Once upon a time.....it was thought to be noble...progressive and yes "Liberal" to stand with the defenders of free speech and freedom.
Once upon a time A True "Liberal" would embrace the Dalai Lama and the election protesters in Iran as heroes.
That was then and now is now.....
Now a US president shuns the likes of a freedom seeking spiritual leader like the Dalai Lama and we will talk with Iran leaders who just sentenced three election protesters to death.
Not to mention refusing to protect Poland and the rest of Eastern Europe from being taken over by dictators.
Once upon a time the world would never give the time of day to a leader that did this let alone give them a Nobel Prize for Peace.
This is all anyone needs to really know on just how screwed up things really are in our society.
In eight short months we have blown back the rights of free loving folks back to the stone age.
Or put another way, destroying people's freedom is so easy, even a caveman can do it!
