I had an interesting thought this weekend. If 6 months of life is worth $22,000, a year’s worth is $44,000 (yeah, I know, duh!!). Let’s assume, for the sake of argument, that the government decrees a life span to be 80 years. So if a 20-year-old drunk street racer is speeding, trying to avoid a police chase because he has outstanding warrants, and he smashes into a car where a 79-year-old decorated war veteran is driving his 79-year-old wife (and mother of three and grandmother of six) to the accountant’s office to file their 63rd annual tax return, the government is going to pay up to $2,640,000 for the health and rehabilitation of the 20-year-old ($44,000/year times 60 years), but will only pay up to $44,000 to save the life of either victim of the crash.
What a country!!

An Interesting Question, that figure happens to be close to the 1997 Nursing home expense of my mother ($3000 a month). One trip to the ER/Intensive care unit and you are over your limit. Her last ambulance ride to the ER was $1500 one way. By the numbers, the 6 weeks she spent in the Intensive care unit alone would have kept her from ever getting to the Nursing home which was plan B to save cost in the first place. I ended up having to make the decisions the government now wants to make by arbitrary rules. My healthcare insurance cost over the last 37 years in 2009 dollars would be around $150,000 – 175,000 and I’ve spent between $12,000 – 15,000 in that time. Like other wealth transfer programs you pay your entire life to support other people’s healthcare decisions which are decoupled from the free market (you pay for what you get and you save for that purpose your entire life). As long as there is this notion of “free” via comprehensive insurance we will continue to suffer at the hands of the grasshoppers….

Folks I just got here but want to add some prime info for you to read if you want scary details on Obama & Czars plans to save money by "deathcare" instead of health care for the Boomers, while covering the younger illegal worker bees.. There are 3 articles I read in respectable publications that EVERYONE should read before making up your mind.

1) Find article "Deadly Doctors" in NY Post on 7/24, and read every word so the deathcare is clear: no need for Boomers rights. Goodbye if you aren't "useful"; Rahm Emanuel's DR brother on the so-called Health Board. Terrible news. This article has quotes about how spoiled we Americans are according to Dr Emanuel. These are Jews who should know better (from Israel)

2) Go to Hudson Institute and read Dr Betsy McCaughey's articles; she is listed under "scholars" section at the top of page. She has details & page numbers with many undesirable features of the Kennedy bill that Dodd introduced. Also read her other articles, one titled "Obama's Voodoo Health Care Economics" is great. How's that budget busting "stimulus" working for YOU? I got nothing.

3) Huffington Post (honestly I hardly believed it) had a great set of both questions and better suggestions for Obama's "ruling class" on the features of the House's bill. This appeared on 7/22, by Henryk Kowalcsyk. There are much better targeted fixes than this total replacement system that Obama Gang wants to install, but they'll all be exempt from, while creating another massive federal bureaucracy, also exempt from the kind of decisions they'll be making for us!

There has been much debate about whether jews are a race. Well, jews are far
from being a pure race. They are a hybrid people, consisting of Edomites,
Hittites, Canaanites, Judahites, Babylonians, Ishmaelites, Huns, Khazars, etc.
However, they do have a distinctive gene pool. According to Dr. Richard Goodman,

Hopkins University in Baltimore, there are 112 hereditary diseases within the
jewish race, which originate from causes found in the jewish brain and central
nervous system. The Jewish Encyclopedia verifies this as well by stating "The
Jews are more subject to diseases of the nervous system than other races and
peoples among which they dwell. Hysteria and neuroasthenia appear to be most
frequent. Some physicians of large experience among the Jews have even gone so
far as to state that most of them are neuroasthenia and hysterical (female
trait). In addition, Dr. Alexander Pilez, world famous psychiatrist from Vienna,
states in his outstanding work, "Weiner Klinische Rundschau," page 888: "Cases
where acute psychoses lend to idiocy and lunacy are of particular frequency with

By contrast, there are no hereditary diseases which exist exclusively within the
white race. The Negro race has only one- Sickle Cell Anemia. Highly mongrelized
people would be more prone to diseases than pure races. The same is true with
hybridized plants and animals. God cursed each of these former composite tribes
that make up the Jewish people. Is it any wonder, the Israelites were warned by
God not to intermarry with them? Now, are they a race? I'll let you answer that
