REGARDING COMMON SENSE
Regarding American common sense
Our capacity for it is immense.
In uncertain times we rise as one
And do the job that must be done.
We look each other in the eye
And declare we will live free or die.
Politics, origins, color or creed,
We are all of the American breed.
Quietly but firmly let the whole world see
Our slogan is still Don’t Tread On Me!

A man of faith in a godless age is hitting Americans where it hurts.
Mr. and Mrs. American Spectator Reader, let P.J. O’Rourke talk sense to your kids.
In Britain, defending your property can get you life.
The debacle of this president’s administration is both a cause and a symptom of the decline of American values. Unless Congress impeaches him, that decline will go on unchecked. An eminent jurist surveys the damage and assesses the chances for the recovery of our culture.
It won’t take long for conservatives to scratch this presidential wannabe off their 2008 scorecard.
The American Christmas, like the songs that celebrate it, makes room for everybody under the rainbow. Is that why so many people seem to be hostile to it?

Mr. Lucas - a super idea!!! Even better would be, with your permission, to pass this idea to our senators and congressional reps to see if they're smart enough to take these seven points and run with them. Congrats on some great ideas!

Ha ha ha! Little Timmy Geithner is appearing on both NBC and ABC. "We inherited this mess." This guy is a riot! Where was he? Hiding in a New York Fed office? Wasn't he watching and lobbying for AIG? Best moment? George Stephanopolos lobs a softball question, "What have you learned over the last three months?" Little Timmy is stumped. "Gee, what HAVE I been doing?" 'Steph' has to rephrase to give him another chance.
In fairness, though, I'd rather have Geithner than Paulson. Paulson had no clue, but sounded like he did. At least with Geithner, you know this guy is way over his head and, therefore, you KNOW his ideas are crackpot!
