Give Me Liberty

If the information contained in this essay reaches the eyes and ears of truly interested patriotic investigative reporters, and the CIA, FBI,  or whoever is in charge, the level of that proven fact might change the entire picture of Islamist terrorism, put the brunt of the manufactured terror scene in its proper place of responsibility and in so doing, possibly treat to eliminate, and control  the element of fear which I believe is oftentimes tossed around for political advantage.

Perhaps, this essay I hope and trust, will stir the imagination to inspire the seekers of truth to confirm his death, and it will help eliminate the myth that he is still the leader of the pack and the others who carry on in his image will be found and forever removed.

Thank you, you did a yoeman's job and I am grateful.

SHEEP FROM THE GOATS
Re: Robert Stacy McCain's The Other CPAC :

The Frumian attack on Rush was part of his audition for the NYT gig. He, like Mr. Dreher, lost out to another completely non-conservative "conservative," a Mr. Douthat. I have no problem with debates and can find common ground with any of those three but the leftist elites are not a great source for determining what constitutes a conservative, who best represents conservative thought or what is acceptable for their fellow Americans to think.

TOO MUCH TIME ON YOUR HANDS
Re: George Neumayr's Chaos Theory :

You hit the nail on the proverbial head, Mr. Neumayr.  It's time WE had a little hope for a change.

Hope for Change in Just Four
(with regards to John Fogarty and CCR)

Day dreamin' 'bout Illinois, Land of Lincoln, oh boy!
Just layin' down, for a rest from Rush and Boortz.
Imagination sets in, pretty soon I'm singin'

Doo, doo, doo, Hope for Change in just FOUR!

Barry's doing cartwheels, five year plans and new deals.
Comrades having quite a party, on the White House lawn.
I've still got a skin itch, from listenin' to Blagojevich,

Doo, doo, doo, Hope for Change in just FOUR!

Jackasses, some elephants, say warming's out of hand.
Will he cap and trade, on his honeymoon?
Doo, doo doo.
Likely he will borrow, and pay for it tomorrow.

Doo, doo, doo, Hope for Change in just FOUR!

Reporters have been askin' him, about goin' to Tehran.
Will he take a ride on a flight in June?
Doo, doo doo.
I'd just send an iPod, "Attention: Ahmadinejad",

Obama a gifted rhetorician? That's a bit over the top. Perhaps better to say he is an excellent reader, with a great future recording Books on Tape once he returns to private life (may the day come soon!). Of course, the studio will need a teleprompter, but still, why let such talent go to waste?

On Angelo Codevilla's assessment that Osama bin Laden is dead, and why the intelligence community refuses to admit it: I think the case remains unproven, but Codevilla is right--the U.S. government would rather have an outlaw individual as the focus of its animus than an outlaw state (or states). The pattern was established in the 1970s, when it was becoming obvious that a wide array of terrorist organizations--Marxist, Palestinian, Anarchist, Nihilist, Islamist--were all working together and showed a remarkable homogeneity of tactics, training, and equipment, at levels far higher than could be acquired given their organic resources.

Courageous journalists like the late Claire Sterling soon realized that they were all receiving financial, logistic, technical and intelligence support from the Soviet Union through the KGB and its satellite services in Eastern Europe. Yet the Intelligence Community refused to acknowledge this while the USSR still lived, and expended much effort to debunking Sterling and others who pointed to Soviet complicity in terrorism.

The reason was perfectly clear: If the Soviet Union was indeed directing international terrorism against the West, the West would have to do something about it. Admittedly, the thought of taking on the fully-armed USSR was a far more daunting prospect than taking on Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia, but still, if Osama is really dead, Codevilla has pegged the reason we won't bury him.

Oooooh, Mike sure ain't in Mimi's league! Ouch even....
And, on another topic, briefly, I sure can't argue about those stupid AIG bonuses. Sad judgment, to say the least. Now, if they'd been based on performance, merit and overall corporate PROFITS, that might be different.
But, and this is a biggy, I do NOT want the stupid Government Bureaucracy telling you (or ME!) what I can make - - that's a terrible precedent! Bad as some company decisions may be, I TRUST THE GOVERNMENT LESS. Period.
Here’s the whole crux of the AIG/Government problem, really: We can choose NOT to do business with AIG - - but we're Forced to "do business" with our lousy, corrupt government.
Just look at the gross stupidity/ineptitude of DMV, ICE, the God-forsaken EPA, INS, AmTrak (which was supposed to be “self-sustaining 40+ years ago), SBA, Global Warming clown Jim Hansen’s NASA; the horribly inept SEC, FTC, TSB, USPS, FCC, CIA, CDC, FDA, DOE, IRS, FFA, DOT; the idiots at FEMA etc… The inefficiency is appalling, nothing less! And now we find out that the horrible FannieMae/FreddieMac are supposed to “investigate THEMSELVES”?!? Thanks to a flock of rotten people in congress, we have a huge problem!! Remember this quotation: “We’re going to push through health care, regardless of the views of the American people." - Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV (D-WV). And, lest we forget, sanctimonious Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, augmented by Barney Frank, David Obey, Susan Collins, Fortney “Pete” Stark, Maxine Waters, Robert Wexler (who makes my skin crawl), Bernie Sanders, Arlen Spector, Barbara Lee, Chuck Schumer, Jim Clyburn, Dick Durban, Alcee Hastings (who was a convicted judge before being removed from office to become a congressman?!?), Maurice Hinchey, Barbara Boxer, Jerry Nadler, Chris Dodd, John Kerry, John Conyers, Russ Feingold, Pat Leahy, Jim McDermott, Olympia Snowe, Joe Biden, Teddy Kennedy, Charlie Rangell, et al., and there are others who also chose to payoff their backers.

Stu, Obama is going to be re-elected. question is who will run in 2016, but that's seven years down the bumpy-- very bumpy-- road.

btw I'm starting to dislike Jindal more than anyone, he is a demagogue in the mold of Huey Long.
