It's called perversion for a reason, Mr. Bowman. These people predate children and adolescents and you think it's cute? You, sir, have no HONOR.
Shame on you for defiling your family HONOR.
You think your grandfather or your father would be proud of your sycophantist review and sentiments? Are you secretly hoping to be a part of the new sexual liberation? They would want to know if they are or were alive.
Words do make a difference, Mr. Bowman. That book on my shelf
will remind me that you write about honor, but are not familiar
with HONOR.

YOU WILL PAY FOR SCIENCE
Re: William Yeatman and Jeremy Lott's The
Doomsday Bias:
Once again, if one ascribes to Democrats the plan to remove from Americans their basic and fundamental freedoms, doomsday science is a perfect fit. If global warming is not such an immediate and earth ending threat most Americans, no matter how liberal, will not support the confiscation of their wealth and destruction of their way of life for climatic reasons.
However, provide the fear of cataclysmic and immediate end of all life on earth and they will be willing to listen to the need to give up freedoms like travel on you own, reliable electricity, and housing not mandated by government. They have already meekly surrendered freedom of religion because Christianity offends government.
So lunatic science, which has been practiced here for decades is a perfect tool for Democrat control. Remember when the radical leftist loonies went after nuclear power? Who did they ask about its properties? That's right: Jane Fonda. She certainly is one of America's preeminent nuclear physicists. Now their shill is Al (The Prince of Pollution) Gore who knows less about science than he does about politics. Even Al's wife is a control phreak. You will remember Tipper when she decided American needed to ban music back in the 70's.
So always view any catastrophe invented by the radical left
-- now in control here -- as a move to take our
liberties away and install a Cuban-style socialism and you will
immediately find its real purpose.

CHASING THE IMMIGRANT VOTE
Re: Richard Nadler's Closed
Door Politics:
Whatever Republican legislators do, they won’t get the votes of immigrants looking for a handout. However, if they should be foolish enough to consent to the legalization of tens of millions of illegal immigrants, they will relegate the Republican Party to permanent minority status.
Does any politician in Washington give a damn about the
middle-class taxpayer?

Happened again... reading a thoughtful comment and said to meself, "self, sounds like David Bonn again." Scrolled down, and, yup. Thoughtful and well done; Mr. Molyneaux too. Good work, gents. A great way to start the day (along with that Santos coffee from Brazil).

Finally, with Jindal we have a leader on the national stage, not an empty styrofoam Greek column Obama poser.
Bobby Jindal is one of a very few truly brilliant people who have ideas that work and have proven to do so. He has more smarts in his socks than Obama has in his pretend sentimental idiotic "dreams."
Jindal is a man of principle, not politics; a man with an ethical and moral center, not "above my pay grade" - "I screwed up" - "I won" pureile whining; a leader, not a facilitator; a person of action, not staging; someone who believes in the power of America and Americans, not the power of government; a man of purpose, not empty promise.
Bobby Jindal has actually served the America he leads, not just taken from it for personal gain.
Jindal and other young Republicans such as Cantor and Ryan finally give me some real hope.
Obama couldn't lead a dog to a fire hydrant, but he can put dogs in a "study group" and teach them to bark.
Jindal is real, a leader who has proven himself through his actions, someone we can actually trust and someone who delivers, not the solipsistic pathetic frat brat elitist race baiting welfare Chicago thug wind blower we now must endure.
I didn't listen to Obambi's speech because he never says ANYTHING anyone can trust - NO SUBSTANCE, just dissembling equivocation. Obobo's a master of deceit, but I did listen to Jindal because he not only speaks with substance, he delivers it. Jidal is a real man with a passion to serve his country, not just himself.

Hey, I'm first to admit, I know less than nothing about computer-speak (was probably two years before I found out what that stupid "LOL" meant; no loss), but, who or what is this Pingback, huh?
Fragments of stuff, relating to what (Obama's health/food?), I sure don't know... and I'm not any too inclined to investigate. Superfluous wasted space? Probably not. Yet, if anyone can offer some kind of explaination, okay. Otherwise, I'll just blithefully skip on by, thank you...

pingback marks articles for the web. like if you type in "frost, amspec", it will be marked as per certain articles.
or so i'm told.
i only know what i'm told.
frost| 2.26.09 @ 12:20PM
That's what I mean... "amspec?"
And, "will be marked" -- for what?
There again, I have 850-some different folders in my computer thingy, all kinds of subjects......
Used to keep notes on a variety of topics as proof, or to be able to offer substantiation when I was doing call-in talk shows on radio stations a few years ago, a habit I continue to continue, even though I have no idea of ever suspending a joyous "retirement" -- the computer makes it easier to "file" - - - IF I'm able to remember what I filed stuff under.....

Page 51 of "Atlas Shrugged" seems to illustrate a lot of the problems we have today: the wimpy lack-of-guts/courage, and (ugly) ability to rationalize 'way too much while "blaming the other guy." Then, get the government involved for "fairness" and you have Terminal Political Correctness -- and the book was written 50-some years ago, published in '57. Kinda like Orwell, ahead of her time - - and we have not yet bugun to pay (much less even recognize) the price(s) we'll be paying. It's goin' to get baaaad, and I fear that there's not a hell-of-a-lot we can do about it -- we're simply outnumbered by neo-Marxists and those who demand "Something for Nothing." It's sick.

Christian Jordal,
You seem to lack a basic understanding of the english language in misunderstanding what "he failed to pay all of his taxes" means. Mr. Ferrara did not say Daschle did not pay any of his taxes, just that he did not pay ALL OF HIS TAXES which his sweet ride around corruption riddled DC fell under. This is a relatively simple concept that anyone with a beginning reading comprehension level show understand. Mr. Ferrara does not presume his readers to be stupid but you certainly showed yourself to be so. I don't really buy that you are an independent voter either but I do get the impression that many so-called independent voters lack basic intelligence and are easily manipulated so you may very well fall in that category.

Should understand not show, sorry. At least I can realize my mistake and correct it though I will make sure to proofread before posting again.
