One advantage of a big, media-focused convention is that so many shadowy campaign "insiders" seek the spotlight. In Denver, one of Sen. Barack Obama's closest advisers has been making the media rounds: Valerie Jarrett. Jarrett has been part of Obama's inner circle since his days as an Illinois state senator. She identifies herself as a Chicago businesswoman, but according to Obama campaign advisers, she is much more than that.
She is Iranian-American, for one thing, and the Obama campaign has sought to keep her ties to Iran from press views, as it has also sought to keep her political background and deep and tangled business and personal relationship to the Obama family from sight. For example, while it's true that Jarrett is a business executive, she also has been a well-known political operative for Chicago Democrats back to her days working in the background as an adviser to late Chicago mayor Harold Washington, as well as the Daley family.
"She knows where are all the bodies have been buried in the past 30 or so years of Chicago politics and she knows all the tricks," says one longtime Democrat political consultant in Chicago. "If Obama had a political and financial godmother, it would be Valerie."
Jarrett, according to friends, gave Michelle Obama professional advice before she married Obama, and helped her with jobs. But more important, say Chicago Democrats who know Jarrett and Obama's history, and why the Obama campaign has desperately sought to keep Jarrett's role in the campaign under wraps, Jarrett may be to Obama what James McDougal was to Bill and Hillary Clinton. McDougall, a central figure in the Clinton's Whitewater Scandal, gave the Clintons the financial wherewithal to raise their national political visibility. "Jarrett has done that for Barack and Michelle three or four times over," says one insider, noting that Jarrett served as the CEO of a housing development company.
And Obama has returned the favor:
Jarrett is the chief executive of Habitat Co., which developed and managed large housing projects in and around Chicago -- and in Obama's state legislative district -- that were subsidized by federal and state housing dollars, and which were ultimately seized by federal authorities for what were unlivable conditions. While overseeing the company that managed these housing facilities, Jarrett also worked with long-time Obama friend and convicted felon Tony Rezko in raising money for Obama's political career.
Obama campaign advisers have sought to have Jarrett fully vetted by the campaign to prepare for opposition research from the McCain campaign, fearing that she may have deeper and longstanding ties to financial entities associated with the subprime mortgage scandal.
"That and her ties to Chicago politicians and her Iranian background, and you have a potential nightmare," says a Democrat media consultant who worked for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. "Say what you want about Hillary, but she didn't have that kind of a triple threat on her team."

How can I forward her my resume'? Can u provide her email address to me? I am interested inserving on Obama's Early Childhood Committee.
Alex Blaine| 11.5.08 @ 5:45AM
This is bullsh*t. Valerie is not Iranian-American (as if that would matter). She is African-American and was only born in Iran when her super-accomplished parents were posted there in the early '50s.
CN| 9.19.09 @ 4:19PM
Are you truly insane or just stupid...YES it would matter if she was/is Irananian ....
Tony Perez| 9.29.09 @ 7:14PM
It matters that she was born in Iran, it matters that she is a slum landlord, it matters that she uses the socialist veneer to promote herself when she couldn't give a f.... about poor people. It does matter and now that people know who she is she will know that it matters.
IJ Anderson| 11.10.08 @ 4:09PM
Alex is correct. Valerie is African-American.
James| 11.16.08 @ 3:22PM
Does anyone edit these articles or do any fact checking? An Iranian American is an American citizen of Iranian ethnicity or heritage. Valarie Jarrett has neither Iranian ethnicity or heritage. She was born in Iran because her American father was there on a mission to help developing countries. Neither of her parents are Iranian and she was raised in America.
tc| 11.17.08 @ 9:24AM
Valarie Jarrett has many issues from the past and will surface in time..her father was black and mother from middle east and Valarie was born in Iran and has two passports...unless most of Americans..we have one by law.

Dear Honorable and Respected President-Elect, Barack Obama:
May God grant you long life, exemplary achievements and grand success in your pursuits and dream to create a new, peaceful and prosperous world – Amen.
I have had been watching since day one your campaign philosophy, policies, your superb judgment, strong leadership skills, extra-ordinary emotional balance, highly intellectual, well disciplined and core decency of your campaign for the office of President of United States of America. You got, what you rightfully deserved by defeating all the odds, nasty blames, shameful comments and remarks about you. Truth is never defeated, it’s a hidden success.
In view of fierce urgency, importance of the magnitude of issues, I am keenly urged and excited to offer my services at your disposal for the sake of country if, at all, considered suitable for any level of office from your well evaluated range of candidates matching fully with their life long credentials of achievements and successes for the right fit.
Based upon my origination, languages spoken, lived, worked and mixed with peoples of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Bangladesh Dubai and other middle eastern states as noted in items # 6 and 7 below and blended with three decades of life in USA, I confidently feel to achieve a great deal of success by sitting and talking with the appropriate levels of leaders in those countries as frequently as situations warranted to bring to their homes the US solutions to the challenges they are facing.
By the very appearance and my three-word name that carry very rich meaning in the above countries, will gear up high level of comforts, ease and openness in expressing their side of stories more openly and would likely to divulge what they have in their minds which otherwise would likely to have been missed if they see someone else there. It is very likely that they will speak up their liking/disliking and their degree of favor/unfavorable notion of success/failure of US political, economical, social policies and plans.
Shuttling back and forth between Washington and the above countries with US mission and goal at utmost frequencies and with rigorous efforts would help accelerate bringing togetherness of parties and promote mutual understandings that will help ease execution of Washington’s plans and programs a little more faster and smoother.
Whilst summarizing briefly my social and community work experience since the age of nine till today, I would like to add that I am the nephew of late “Allama (scholar) Raghib Ahsan”, a freedom activist in India during the liberation movements from British rule and a right hand partner to “Mohammad Ali Jinnah”, father of Pakistan for drafting and writing constitutions and speeches for Mr. Jinnah.
General Ayub Khan, ex-President of Pakistan flew from Islamabd to Allama Raghib’s house in Dacca, the then East Pakistan to offer a position of Allama Raghib’s choice in his administration when he occupied power in a military coupe. Allama Raghib replied, “Ayub, I create president, I do not work as a president or Prime Minster”.
Ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan, late Zulfiquar Ali Bhuto, father of late Benazir Bhutto visited Allama Raghib twice to seek political advice. He too offered a job to Allam’s choice and likings in his administration and got the same reply.
Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, father of Bangladesh frequently visited Allam Raghib for help and guidance in his political career. I had been in all the meetings of Allama Raghib with Ayub, Bhuto and Mujib, the top political leaders of above countries.
Hereunder are just a few from many of my ground and grass root social and community works since the age of nine till today:
1. Heritance
Inherited my parent’s life-long selfless sacrifices of all they owned and all they could do for the welfare of the community they lived in. At age nine, I built up a team of my friends and started copying what elders would do like helping cyclone victims, feeding hungry people, working for burials etc. With the passage of time, I gradually stared expanding the circumference of wider areas and varieties of other activities like children’s and girls schools, collecting money from well to do people to pay for marriage expenses of poor families, setting up cyclone victims’ shelters, feeding hungers, etc. By the time I reached 11th grade, I had won and conquered the hearts and minds of every single resident of my city comprising of different color, creeds, religions, beliefs and practices. At age 15, I was appointed Chairman of Mayor’s Relief Committee.
2. Medal of Honor
It was the cyclone night of October 31, 1961 in the city of Chittagong when a 20-foot high tidal wave swept over city’s southern part, washing away dozens of thickly populated villages and throwing a cargo ship from jetty to three miles on the ground. Dead bodies of humans and animals were floating on river water for over a week. While I was swimming and bringing dead bodies to the river bank, the governor of East Pakistan, General Azam Khan while surveying the disasters, landed his helicopter and saw me pulling out dead bodies from the river to the shore. He shook hands with me, asked my name, address and said that he would write a letter of recommendation to the President of Pakistan, General Ayub Khan for the “Medal of Bravery”, the highest medal of awarded decorated to soldiers for their bravery and heroic work in war. I knew, I wouldn’t get it because of dirty politics coming in the way between East and West Pakistan. Dishonest leaders did lots of economic injustices to East Pakistan that lead to the break of Pakistan into two parts. After a decade of fights and sacrifices for their rights, East Pakistan broke with West Pakistan, finally took independence under the leadership of “Sheikh Mujibur Rahman” and named the country as “Bangladesh” in 1970. Father of Bangladesh, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman appointed Dr.Kamal Hossain, Barrister-at-Law as ‘Law Minister’ and later Prime Minister. I had a chance to work for Dr.Kamal Hossain during his legal practice in Dacca, Bangladesh, the then East Pakistan.

3. Night of Mark of Seal
It was the third night of constant non-stop heavy rain when I took seven of my friends and carried the coffin to the cemetery that was lying in the house for three days. Street going to the cemetery was washed away at places. One of the broken levees was so deep that water current would blow out the person trying to cross over to other side. Three of us tied together to make two pillars of three/four each. Crossed the body over to the other side, their relatives and a few participants. This act of our selfless courageous work spread like the speed of light in the city. It was published in newspapers with my picture. I was honored with the ‘Mark of Seal of sacrifice and help’. People started calling me their ‘Janta’ (leader). Earned lots of love and respect from the residents.
Elected BD (Basic Democrat) member of the area started persuading me to stand in the forth coming national election as a BD (State Senate) candidate in his place. I respected his recognition of my services and my popularity in the community but did not pursue as I was a student of BS degree program. My educational career was more important to me at that time but I did help him to get re-elected against a mighty businessman from “Ms Fatima Jinnah” party versus “General Ayub Khan” party. Again, the elected BD member and I were garlanded; two of us seated on chairs on top of a truck and were driven to the streets with bands of music, dances and slogans of victory.
4. Friends, relatives and others voted for Barack Obama
As journalists Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann would have hit their heads to wall if Barack Obama wouldn’t have won the election, I would have had done the same. I couldn’t have imagined the state of my mind and heart to take a shock of defeat.
Called my youngest brother, Dr. Muhammad H. Noor, a physian in a hospital in New York, my friends, relatives, acquaintances, and visited others locally to make sure that they go to vote. Picked up a sick and elderly physician, named ‘Mirza Iqbal Baig’ who never voted in three decades and did not reregister on 10/20/08. Took him to Garden Grove, CA 92843 and had him vote provisionally. I wouldn’t have forgiven myself even if a single person from my list had not voted for Barak Obama. This is the burning desire that I had to see that the right leader is elected to head the country and lead the world. Enough is extensively and exceedingly enough. Change is long due and surely is coming which is within our sight, a short distance and just a few days left to January 20, 2009.

5. Dr. Mozammil Siddiqui
This renowned international scholar is well known and seen by all the Presidents of USA in past three decades. Ex-President Bill Clinton and Bush had meetings with him. He travels all over world for conferences/meetings. Amongst many world leaders, he has received a letter from late St. Paul too praising the virtues of month of Ramadhan. Dr.Siddiqui was the first President of ISNA, has been president of Crescent School and Garden Grove Muslim Community. He talked in Friday sermon about the importance of exercising voting rights and urged every one to get out and vote. He has his weekly radio station program and quite often TV appearances on current and related issues of the time. He has been one of my best friends for couple of decades. My brother-in-Law worked as the first Principal of school under him. I met him this Sunday at Westminster cemetery in burial services. I am sure, Mr. Barak Obama, President-elect would also meet Dr.Siddiqui at appropriate time for the right advice from this part of loyal US community.
6. Middle East, Muslims and Arab World
Have lived and/or worked in the following countries:
i) Born in India
ii) London – lived for a short while
iii) Pakistan (worked for Pakistan’s fourth largest industrial group)
iv) Saudi Arbia (worked for world’s largest petroleum company, ARAMCO)
v) Bahrain (Recovered millions of sunken dollars for Gulf Air. Also worked for one of
the Royal family members’ business)
vi) Bangladesh (worked for Dr. Kamal Hossain, Barrister-at-Law who later became
Prime Minster and ex-Mayor of Chittagong)
Have visited the following countries:
a) Kuwait
b) Dubai
c) Qatar
Page666 6 of 15
d) Abu Dhabi
e) Philippine
f) Hong Kong
g) Basra, Iraq in 1974.
Have been at airports of the following countries for a few times during my international travels:
i) Japan
ii) China
iii) Switzerland
iv) Germany
v) Korea.
7. Languages Know
i) English (read all through English medium. Good speaking, writing and reporting skills)
ii) Arabic in Arab nations (read, write, speak and understand some)
iii) Urdu in Pakistan (read, write, speak and understand well)
iv) Hindi in India (speak and understand to a great extent)
v) Persian in Iran (read/write well, speak/understand little)
vi) Bengali in Bangladesh (speak and understand well)
8. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indian, Arab Languages and Dresses
I wear dresses of all the above countries at appropriate occasions plus the line items of item # 7 above. I receive extra ordinarily warm welcome when I speak some of their languages. People become overwhelmingly interested to talk, listen and know more about me. Whilst enjoying the time of association with them, I get into their hearts and mind and receive invitation to visit their houses and families. This is great. I enjoy it every time.
If, by any chance, I get an opportunity to go as a representative, spokesperson or an Ambassador of President Barack Obama’s administration to the above countries, I will mix with locals, talk, walk together and eat sitting side by side on floors according to their customs and would look like one of their country-men and/or a family members. This will create an enormously positive attitude towards USA as because you have already done half of my work, Mr.President-elect because you have already earned goodwill and unprecedented popularity throughout the world as well as this part of the world which is hungry to embrace your policy based upon your philosophy of prosperity of human beings no matter what nation they live or religion they believe.
Would wear Afghan dress with turban on head, Shalwar (pajama) and Kurta (shirt) to meet, greet and talk to Afghan warlords, leaders, talaban and government officials. Will not wear President Karzai’s presidential dress but will be in an attire of every day common people that would look like a same person as one of them. Would deliver President Obama’s message to reroute US dollars towards building nation, its hospitals, schools, infra-structures by diverting from that are currently being consumed in fights and battles where innocent civilians are killed, injured and disabled. Will carry a message of “HOPE” of nation building. This would give me an opportunity to put a choice of selection to them:
either they want construction
OR
destruction.
Peaceful and prosperous nation
OR
hardships and sufferings to their fellow citizens..
My philosophy is to win heart than win war. If we win hearts, we have automatically won war at no cost. Win, win situation, less, less, losses, deaths and destructions.
Would follow the same course of action when in Pakistan talking to the President, Ministers, senior officials, leaders and general public. Most and majority of Pakistanis love and like America and more particularly now when Barack Obama will be governing United States of America and leading the world. Your popularity has increased in an extraordinary magnitude. They will simply be surprised and shocked to see that Elias Noor, some one from them is now representing USA and talking to them about US-Pakistan course of political, economical and social issues for mutual benefits. They would open their hearts to get into and extend their
Page 8 of 15
hands of friendship. Mutual understanding and cooperation will flourish that will help ease and smoothen the application and execution of US policies and plans.
‘Gandhi’ and ‘Nehru’ style dress will be my attire while meeting Indian leaders and discussing about resolving the “Kashmir” issue.
Would also visit both “Azad (free) Kashmir” as well as occupied (by India) Kashmir to talk to both sides leaders to get consensus about the future of their divided country.
When visiting Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or any other Arab country, I would wear one-piece shirt from shoulder to feet (thoab) and scarf on my head that I have used many times.
I want to show respect and regards to their national dresses, cultures and every day life style to leave an impression in their minds and hearts that I am one of them. Let us join our heads and hearts to build a better world where hatred is replaced by affection and honor.
9. Surge of American forces – a slogan of success
Before the surge, some of our soldiers, during their off-duty times, started visiting and talking to Iraqi Sunnis wearing Iraqi/Arab dress (thoab), scarf on their heads and putting before them the concrete benefits and losses by becoming friends or foe to American soldiers. This resulted in tremendous amount of turn of Sunni leaders to abandon hostility and join American forces to fight insurgents. Even some of the insurgents gave up their weapons and enmity to become partners to American soldiers to fight insurgents and al-quaidas. Bush and his admirers do not admit this truth and fact as one of the foremost and initial reasons of considerable reduction in violence that had already started even before the surge had landed in Iraq. They are closing their eyes to see the truth rather have opened their mouths to propagate that surge is working and “we are winning the war”. Surge did, of course, help in reducing violence too but in proportion to increase in numbers to the existing forces with the help of gradual increase of Sunnis still joining the American forces.
10. Will not increase troops, will decrease the cost of war to half – HOW?
Bomb, bomb, bomb. Someone’s slogan, “We are going to win the WAR”.
Obama’s slogan is TALK, TALK, TALK. “We are going to win the HEART”.
Would sit together with Afghanis, Pakistanis, Iraqis and others engaged in subversive activities and have them answer the following:
Do you want killings of your nations’ workers, innocent civilians or peace and normalcy?
Do you want us to use the US$ in fights or help in functionality of your government?
Do you want your country and your people to live and let live in peace and prosperity or
hatred, failures and sufferings?
If you want your county to flourish then let us shake our hands and divert all our resources to productive works. We need to get together to build the nation and stop fighting. We need persuasive dialogues and convincing discussions from ground levels up to change the dynamic of the mass. Once we succeed in turning our enemies to friends, it will cost less to maintain friendship comparing to confrontation. Let’s change our attitude, let’s be friends walking side by side as partners with a common objective to end the war, begin talking about peace and restoration of democracy by moving and advancing ahead every day inch by inch, step by step. This reduces our military operation costs and the saving is utilized in rebuilding the nation that will help and aid them to improve their lives.
11. Leadership role at Annaul Conferences of about 5,000 people
Do not stand or raise my hand for voluntary work during the three-day conference for praise and enlistment BUT I jump right there to roll my sleeves up and get the job done at any time, any place and for any kind of work or emergency that warranted immediate attention and controlling over the situation. Organize and lead the group activities of about 5,000 attendees. Command high respect, recognized for my strong and successful leader skills. My thorough organizational skills and strong leadership strength have also been very distinctively recognized throughout my professional career.
12. Hard working and self-made man
I am a stern hard task master and a self-made man. My father retired from government job when I was eight years old. Family comprised of nine members with no income. Worked one to two jobs during day to support my family. Attended school, college and university during night. Had been a good student right from my childhood. Have topped many times during my educational career and my pictures were published in newspapers for academic
Page 10 of 15
distinctions. Have been enlisted in 1981-82 year book of “Who’s Who of American Universities and Colleges” for my excellent performance in BS degree program from Aero-Space Institute, Chicago, Illinois. Have also been enlisted and awarded with other distinctions as noted on top of my letterhead with emblems granted by world’s academic and professional institutions to be imprinted on my letterhead.
13. Publication of books, articles, athletic achievement and extra-curriculum activities
Couple of books in Urdu language comprising of 786 couplets each have been published. Articles on management, economics and international trade were published in English newspapers in East Pakistan during my research and P.Hd. program. Thesis for my P.Hd. program was “Minimum Wage”. It was next to impossible during those to think of abiding by the enactment of minimum wage rules as well as restrictions on employing child labor on more than 8-hour days, seven-day weeks. This article was published in the daily “Eastern Examiner”, in Chittagong. Met about half a dozen leading industrial executives and was told that your article works as a good effort to get your P.Hd. but carries no meaning or weight in this part of world. You are day-dreaming. No body wanted to listen. Even warned me to stop talking and visiting their offices. I was threatened for my life if I would try to talk to children and their parents. Banned my visits to their factories, working areas and talking to any of their workers.
Had broken second highest Olympic records in 100 meter, relay race and fast cycling during my college days but became a victim of dirty politics once again and was not even selected for national competition.
Had equally been a good character actor and played different rolls in annual school dramas. Was graded as the best actor twice that made me a drama director. Headmasters from other schools would call me to come to take a final look. Would recommend a minute to couple of minutes length of changes in the rolls, settings and backgrounds that would create a gulf of difference and would look more closer to reality. This, once again, gradually spread in the city and I was invited by the movie direct who was shooting “Shadi” (marriage) movie to take a five seconds shot. Six months later, I was invited by another movie director to take a roll of about seven minutes with the heroine of the move but I refused as this was not my career mainly because I was very much involved in community work where every one would love me and I wouldn’t think of getting involved in any other activities that would take me farther away from my community people.
Had been a good singer too. Was a daily national anthem singer in the morning before the start of day in school. I am still invited from time to time in community party functions to sing Pakistan’s national anthem.
14. “This is the night of answer - November 4, 2008”
Yes, I do see to myself and admit that the very first year and the very first thing that I did in USA was recognized by the institute of “Who’s Who of American Universities and Collges” and within a decade to half a dozen other US National and international Who’s Who of the world comparing to four decades of my sacrifices and achievements in Pakistan, Middle East and Bangladesh. I do not mean to blame those countries but to admit that there hadn’t been the kind of facilities in the above countries then that we have now in the most advanced nation on earth that we live, survive and thrive now. Of course, this is the country where one can achieve his or her respective dream.
15. “You cannot imagine how much I love you Malia and Shasha”
It was 10th and 7th year of my daughters when my mother-in-Law was here with us who said, “if it would have been in Elias’s capacity, he would fly, snatch stars from the sky, bring them and put in the hands of his daughters”. Relatives, neighbors and any one happed to see my love to my daughters would just envy and say that I have rarely seen this kind of a father’s love and affection for his children. It may sound a self-praise to many but that single father(s) knows what love means to him for his daughters. I can see and feel your fatherhood, Mr.Barack Obama, the President-elect. I am proud of your heart-felt expression to the world. Let the world do feel and respect this warmth and pious relationship - Amen.
16. “YES WE CAN” and the “CHANGE” is happening
Last week’s news about shooting down two and wounding six American soldiers by an Iraqi soldier before he was killed is very disheartening and frustrating. What I understand that we have given pills to suppress the pain but have not prescribed the penicillin to kill the pain. This is a temporary and timely relief but pain might come back again as the disease has not been cured for lack of right prescription and medication. The right cure and treatment is not force and fight, bullets and bombs but filling hearts and minds by friendship and love. Buying hearts is cheaper than spending 10 billion dollars/month in military operations that still
Page 12 of 15
is not showing encouraging sign of mission accomplishment. Cheaper routes and cost saving operations sound a healthy and win, win situation. Saving can be utilized in building basic necessities and amenities for their lives which will result in buying more and more hearts and heading towards achieving permanent cure. Amen.
Would visit Bangladesh in Lungi (waste-down to feet), Kurta (shirt) and talk to President to send forces to Afghanistan and Iraq. Bangladesh is hungry of foreign exchange and feel pride to work with American forces. This will have four-fold benefits:
Firstly-Bangladeshis are Muslims and would go hand in hand with people of above countries.
Secondly-Bangladeshis are cheaper – an important cost saving factor.
Thirdly-American forces will not be seen on their streets which is the #1 reason of fight.
Fourthly-A leader/commander from their own people will command more respects for both,
the locals as well as Bangladeshis.
Would talk to all Arab leaders to extend their financial, moral and all out supports to join in our sincere efforts for peace in the region once for all for the safety and security of all and every single one of us. Would like to suggest to call a summit of all Arab leaders including Iran, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, Bangladesh and others as and when needed and necessary.
Will ask Iraqi leaders if their conscientious are alive to feel the financial burden and sufferings that the USA is undergoing to pay for their security and to bring democracy in their country? Do their conscientious feel justification in denying to share the costs more particularly when they have budget surplus? One way traffic would not go long and they wouldn’t look fair in the eyes of international community. Come on, be just and fair. Be an equal partner where you need us more; and admittedly you benefit more!
All the afore-mentioned are just my proposals for your kind review, advice and your valued orders, Mr.President-elect.
Thanking you from the core of my heart, Mr.President-elect for your preciously valuable time and looking forward keenly to hearing from you as and when your all day long exceedingly utmost busy schedules permit.
With my deepest respect and highest regards, I remain, Sir,
Faithfully yours,
Mohammad Elias Noor, P.Hd.

How do I obtain Valerie Jarretts email address? She is the senior advisor for the White House Council on Women and Girls. A organization I am very much interested in.
Shawn Dancer| 7.15.09 @ 11:51PM
This is in response to Alex Blaine. Alex is correct that she is not Iranian. Alex is wrong in that she is African American, She was born in Iran, not Africa, Just as she is not Iranian, how can she be African if she never lived there nor was born there? Semantics , Mr. Blaine, you choose what incorrect language is acceptable.
Roni Freels| 8.3.09 @ 2:19PM
I agree with Mr. Dancer. We need to stop spliting hairs about ones heritage. My heritage happens to be French Cajun and Cherokee Indian. Would I be politically correct to call myself a Coon-Ass-Injun American? Absolutely not! I frankly don't like labels, expecially from the cultures I mentioned, knowing nothing about them. I rather like being called, "An American." As for Miss Jarrett, it is not where she was born that contributes to her shady past, nor is it worth the arguement. I could care less if she were born in the hills of W. Virginia. She found her way to Chicago and became involved in the racaketeer politics, along with Obama, and now she occupies an office in the White House as part of his administration. That is the part that is scary...not where she was born.
