shooting by Chicago cops in 1932. I would summit that he was just
that tough, like they used to say in Chicago, “You could skate on
him!” Again, as I remember the history when Nitti committed suicide
it took TWO bullets to his head by his OWN hand to complete the
job. Not so?

It may be as you say, but my knowledge of Nitti history is now
exhausted. I do remember that the cops who shot him were indicted
and tried for felonious assault. That’s clout.
