contrary, I have said on the record that despite my criticisms of
George Bush that I would vote for him again if Kerry or Al Gore
were the alternatives. What I have said is that if I were given the
choice today between Bush and Bill Clinton, I would vote for
Clinton. Whatever else you may think of him, on economics and the
budget his administration was much superior to Bush's. It gives me
no pleasure to say that, but any objective examination of the facts
will come to the same conclusion.
