Somehow, I wasn't aware of any country named Palestine except in Hollywood fantasyland. But then, Arabs, with no connection to a historically Roman Palestine, give themselves this mythical designation and "Presto, Change-o!" Fantasy comes to life. A truly Hollywood moment. Now I see the connection between these two entities.
