As a former resident of New Orleans, I know first-hand, the corrupt powers that run that city. If you were able to tour the “real” New Orleans and see the rundown buildings used as schools, see the city streets away from the French Quarter and how dirty, nasty and filthy they are, see the drug-infested trailer parks where you padlock your doors while at work (if you happen to work that is), and the general lawlessness that runs rampant throughout the city, you’d understand why people like myself applaud your article and put condemnation where it belongs, squarely on the head and shoulders of Mayor Nagin. … I could go on and on, but in interest to your time, which is valuable I’m sure.
