In perhaps the most entertaining moment during the recent House Judiciary Committee hearing on children of illegal immigrants, Rep. Trey Gowdy reprimanded White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer, who earlier had criticized the Republican plan to legalize only children as “cruel hypocrisy.” Gowdy responded by calling Pfeiffer a “demagogic self-serving political hack who can’t even be elected to a parent advisory committee, much less Congress.” Watch the video here (the good stuff starts at 3:15):
Gowdy also thanked the witnesses for “not being demagogues.”
